my email app and my browser have been force closong randomly but now my homescreen, I have to restart it or wait 10 minutes. what is the problem, why cant sony update the phone. I have sent emails to sony to tell how to stop but no response? I will get another phone if they dont fix this. I have recieved the worst suport from sony which i didnt expect from such a big company.
View 1 RepliesI have am using an X10 mini pro and when attempting to launch the messaging app, it crashes and i have to force close. I have the latest software (2.1.1.A.0.6) and 2.1 firmware.
It started when simply viewing a message, I had not installed anything recently.
updated last night and now when i go into the calander i get the message "The process com. android.calander has stopped unexpectently. please try again." then i have to press force close. Also the pinch/zoon works fine on the internet but differently when on photos that i have taken. You cannot pinch, to zoom you have to drag your finger up and it vibrates when you touch the screen and a white streak comes up on the pic while you are draging your finger, visa verse to zoom out.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia X10 mini got switched off automatically and since then it is showing that "sorry, the process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly, with an option tab for 'Force close'." And since then it is not rceiving or sending any signal. It is also not getting connected to the PC. My repeated attempts by switching it OFF-on have yielded no results. That sorry window doesnot allow me to access anything in the mobile but for some duration of milliseconds when it is force closed with the option tab.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia 5530 xpress music mobile - (Christmas present) and was wondering when any new firmware is going to be released; The native browser just closes on its own (sometimes active sometimes inactive) The phone is a little slow loading up and menus (know this may be down to apps etc and memory card) The shortcut icons disappear sometimes from the homescreen (causing a reset to rectify) and when I change them the shortcut on the far right changes itself back to facebook The phone sometimes gets stuck on a white screen at startup which can only be solved by removing the memory card and starting up then reinserting There are a few more minor things but they don't really matter but I have noticed the touchscreen can be quite unresponsive needing quite firm touches or repetitive touches (yes I know some things require double touch) I was also wondering why my phone keeps disconnecting from the wifi source (I have a standard home router) - I know some routes 'refresh' themselves however I don't have problems with my computers or laptops (yes I know its different hardware) Done get me wrong its a good phone, with great features and I am not complaining however I just expected less obvious faults not ones that can cause disruption in normal day-to-day use URL...

It also freezes once I open it and the only way to get off of the screen is hitting the home button which freaks the phone out. I have also seen an error message which I did not take down the exact file launcher problem it was encountering.

Are there any files or something I can flash that will allow me to try and format everything and start over? When the errors pop up I try to recreate the issue and one out of 5 times I am able to do so. I have tried battery pulls and several factory resets/wiping everything. I'm best mentioning that my technical know-how is very limited in terms of phones, but I've accepted the fact I'm going to have to run a factory reset on my phone. So the problems I'm experiencing:- All of a sudden, apps start crashing one after the other. So much so that I can't even turn the phone off properly and just have to hold the power button down until it goes off itself.- Sometimes it just freezes, and when it does, it rapidly drains the battery.- Other times it just randomly decides to turn itself off (this has happened during the night resulting in me sleeping in for work because my alarm has failed to go off!)- When apps have crashed and I've had to turn it on and off again, all information stored (ie. texts, photos, Twitter feed) after the 16th October is gone!I've even went on Kies Air to start transferring photos, videos, etc. to my laptop, but even that keeps crashing, meaning it constantly disconnects from the laptop. I cleared out a lot of old apps I don't use anymore, but they reappear when I turn it back on, resetting back to pre-16th October like I mentioned.

I have a stock Razr Maxx HD running Jelly Bean.his problem actually started with ICS, and I thought Jelly Bean would fix it, but it hasn't.I have the "flip stand with smart charger" and for a while, desktop mode worked great with it. Then, one day, it doesn't work at all. I had it set to default to "Desk Dock" but now evertime the "smart charger" is plugged in, the screen goes black and says "Unfortunately, Desk Dock has stopped". View 6 Replies View RelatedChecking out media players, I downloaded Zimly and Mixzing to compare. Both installed instantly but only Zimly appeared as an icon on the home screen. When I go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications they are both listed as installed, however I need to have Mixing drop its icon for me to be able to use it ... from reviews etc I actually think that's the one I'll be keeping anyway, a clear case of sod's Law that of the two that one would be the one with a problem!I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, same result.

Is there any way through which circular scrolling can be enabled for the SE Android Launcher(circular scrolling = when you scroll past the last screen, it goes back to the beginning). my x10 mini is stuck in a cycle of switching its self on and off again before it reaches the home screen, been like it for 2 days, was fully charged when it started and drained the battery eventually doing this, put it on charge and it started the cycle again, and i can't connect it to a P.C via usb because it's not on long enough to recognize the device.

since I updated to 2.1 any long press on home screen or corner icons goes directly to edit either widgets or icons depending wich screen I have up. This is anoying because many times I press just a little too long and for example end up in the edit icons mode instead of opening messages like I wanted to.
Is there anyway to get this as it was on 1.6? Long press didnt open edit, the only way to open edit was trough menu key.
Is it possible to get the home screen to rotate without having to open the keyboard?
