When I hold and press my home screen it brings up the menu to change my wallpaper, I can move the widgets around in the 4 corners of my Xperia Mini 10 but I want my clock back in the middle of my home screen.....

Noticed.. when the screen is on, the clock doesnt update?
For example. Phone is on charge, lock screen clock is shown. Time doesnt move.
Lock/unlock and time updates.

View 10 Replies View RelatedChecking out media players, I downloaded Zimly and Mixzing to compare. Both installed instantly but only Zimly appeared as an icon on the home screen. When I go to Settings>Applications>Manage applications they are both listed as installed, however I need to have Mixing drop its icon for me to be able to use it ... from reviews etc I actually think that's the one I'll be keeping anyway, a clear case of sod's Law that of the two that one would be the one with a problem!I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, same result.

After restarting my N97 due to it crashing (again), my calendar widget has disappeared from the home screen. I tried removing the widget from the home screen and adding it again, but this had no effect. I checked the actual calendar application and the to-do notes and reminders are not appearing if "month view" is selected. They do however appear when viewing the calendar in either "day view" or "week view". I use the calendar for planning my life

Have tried all the different location settings (high accuracy, power saving, and GPS only) but doesn't resolve the problem.
Since the widget won't appear on home screen, the settings can't be accessed to check if there's anything odd there.

my x10 mini is stuck in a cycle of switching its self on and off again before it reaches the home screen, been like it for 2 days, was fully charged when it started and drained the battery eventually doing this, put it on charge and it started the cycle again, and i can't connect it to a P.C via usb because it's not on long enough to recognize the device.

since I updated to 2.1 any long press on home screen or corner icons goes directly to edit either widgets or icons depending wich screen I have up. This is anoying because many times I press just a little too long and for example end up in the edit icons mode instead of opening messages like I wanted to.
Is there anyway to get this as it was on 1.6? Long press didnt open edit, the only way to open edit was trough menu key.
Is it possible to get the home screen to rotate without having to open the keyboard?
