How to get the lock screen clock widget on the home screen? I added the widget but it's a different version of the clock with a white or black box around it depending on the time. I can't seem to find one with a transparent background like the lock screen widget.

Noticed.. when the screen is on, the clock doesnt update?
For example. Phone is on charge, lock screen clock is shown. Time doesnt move.
Lock/unlock and time updates.
I use either Sony clock or digital clock on lock screen. However, it will get changed to analog clock for no reason. Few times already. Changed it back to digital/Sony clock, but it goes back to analog clock after awhile (days). Any way to make the Sony/digital clock to stick?

1) no notifications are displayed on my lock screen even for missed calls or sms's .. there is no any icon or symbol that informs me if i have missed any call or received a message ; and i have to unlock my phone every time to check
in the Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> i selected the option to show all the notifications.. but nothing changed
2) also on the lock screen , not widget for the walkman or the sound cloud to enable me to pause the players or to navigate to the next song

I'd like to be able to not have a screen lock on and have the clock still slide down from the top. Also, does one HAVE to have a Gmail account to use the phone? I'd like to not have to sign in with my gmail. I know it's Android based, but it should be an option to not use one?
Sometimes the clock on the lock screen vanishes. Sometimes it shows.
I ended up doing a factory reset and that seems to have corrected the missing clock issue.
I want to set Google play music as my widget on the lock screen, so I can skip tracks or go back without unlocking the phone. I could swear I used to have it that way, but now am unable to set that back.
If I chose the music lock screen, it only uses the HTC music player app. If I do widget lock screen, I have very few outings to pick from, and Google play music is not an option.
Before you ask, I have gone to settings, lockscreen, additional information and it is set to "off" along with the weather being off. I was able to get it off once but when I did a restart, it showed back up and will not go away. It makes my clock on the locks creek small even though I have it selected to be large and I can't stand it overall. The only thing I want on my locks creek is the time. Also, I hate that it now says "verizon wireless" where the notifications were on the lockscreen.

I installed Dash Clock with the notifier extensions. The problem is when I add it to the lock screen it adds it to the second lockscreen so I have to swipe across to see it. The normal standard clock remains on the main lockscreen. Am I doing something wrong? I am adding the widget by swiping from right left and clicking on the + icon, the + icon appears on a new screen not on the screen with the built in clock.
On my lock screen I've got the standard weather clock that comes with Sense 6 and below it there's a notification, but it only one. It shows a little arrow below it indicating that there's more notifications below and I can drag down to make the widget bigger. However this isn't saved and it airways reverts to showing just one.

Plus, the time is already in the status bar so having a big clock on the lock screen is redundant.
How to get rid of the clock? Even i there was a way to recolor it or something maybe that would work in some cases. For example, if I could make it black then it wouldn't be visible against the current wallpaper...

Now we have finally paid themes available here in Germany, have noticed many themes have the lock screen clock centered..... but for the life of me I cant figure it out. When I install a new theme the clock always ends up on the left hand side... have looked everywhere, xposed modes, googled and of course searched here on xda.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSeems like when I wake up the phone, it takes a second for the clock to change to the correct time. Phone is locked, pressing the power button unlocks the display and the time stamp is from when the phone was locked, a second later the correct time changes.I've tried clearing cache on the following services, but the issue is still there. If i lock the phone and unlock it within a few minutes the time is synch fine and there is no delay. If i leave the phone locked for more than 5 minutes than the delay is noticeable.

I have a 9650 issued by my job and have a password that is forced by my IT group. When the phone is locked (not just the keyboard but password enabled) there are times that the time is not updating unless I unlock the phone. My old Curve never did this, it showed the current time regardless of the password.Is there a fix for this? I saw a thread in the 9700 forum that this was an issue back in April, guess it still is? Any suggestions would be great, since I don't wear a watch anymore. My blackberry is the only way I am ever on time anymore.

However, I recently bought a new cover for my phone (with a see-threw screen on top) and figured out that I'm not able to move the clock in my lock screen. This little see-threw screen is more annoying now than useful, because it only shows me half of the clock.
Is there any way to move the clock a little up at the lock screen? I'm using Android 5.1.1 and I no longer have the feature of widgets in my lock screen. So it seems.
