For example. Phone is on charge, lock screen clock is shown. Time doesnt move.

The clock and weather widget disappeared from the home screen. I tried downloading another one from the playstore, but it won't appear on the homescreen. The icon for it is there, but not the actual clock and weather. How can I get back the original, installed widget?

I tried removing the widget from the home screen and adding it again, but this had no effect. I checked the actual calendar application and the to-do notes and reminders are not appearing if "month view" is selected. Have tried all the different location settings (high accuracy, power saving, and GPS only) but doesn't resolve the problem.
Since the widget won't appear on home screen, the settings can't be accessed to check if there's anything odd there.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? When I try adding any shortcut to the home screen, it shows a "running circle" icon on the home screen. Looks like it's loading, but it's just like that forever. This happens to all available shortcuts and most of the widgets except for Clocks and Map Apps.My phone is updated to the latest Belle.

But for some reason when I try to add the twitter widget to the home screen or any of the screens I get the message "application not installed." This is only happening with twitter. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the app but same message. I did a factory reset as well but no luck. The application itself works if I go through the app itself.

I have tried pressing and holding the screen and looked through the widgets, and yes I found the AccuWeather.com widget, but when I drag it back onto my phone home screen. View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got Belle on my N8 and I can't figure it out at all. I know it has to do with "hidden folders" on my E: drive (Not F in this case) I don't know where they could be or should be at this point). It also take a while for any previews to display.
I got 2 missing links that show up when I try to select a wallpaper (from the homescreen). At first I had none then 1 now 2. If I search for pictures from the gallery they don't show up at all (because they're hidden). If I could somehow soruce where they are I could remove them on my own.
I wish (how it was on Anna) that files in the wallpaper folder were the only one that could be found when changing wallpapers from the homescreen. Changing them from the galley doesn't work properly like it does from the homescreen (WTfail). How did I get into this mess? FaceContacts (Hidding that folder) and Trucaller (Hidding that folders cache) photos. I hide them so that they don't appear when selecting in Nokia Sleep Screen and changing wallpapers. I've deleted FaceContacts and removed those folders for now. I left TruCaller because I never saw those images appear so it wasn't the issue.
When I turn off & on my phone I can select a wallpaper again :/ At least the phone isn't slow

Just updated to Belle this morning & having a problem installing widgets/shortcuts to the home-screen. It worked at 1st but now it stalls & the little circle just keeps spinning forever & does not do anything.

I guess it happened since I installed BestBlacklist free applications from ovi site. Then I uninstalled that application and even restored factory settings, but notifications didn't come back.
