View 1 Replies View RelatedWhile I like the functionality of the Moto Command Center it doesn't fit my phone's theme very well. I am using Nova Launcher with UP icon pack. I'm looking for something different. What do you use for a home screen weather/clock/battery (if included) widget?
View 24 Replies View RelatedThe clock and weather widget disappeared from the home screen. I tried downloading another one from the playstore, but it won't appear on the homescreen. The icon for it is there, but not the actual clock and weather. How can I get back the original, installed widget?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe weather app on my home screen doesn't always display the weather - it often says there is no data available. However, when I access the app and manually refresh the weather is displayed and remains when I return to the home screen. Is this an issue without Android 2.2 or is the handset at fault? The same app works perfectly on my Hero running on android 2.1
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs it possible to use the cast screen feature without a Chromecast? Recently just got a new smart TV and was wondering if I would be able to use the screen cast without a Chromecast since both devices are connected to the same WiFi.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have an s6 and the factory installed 4x1 clock/weather app no longer works. The clock still keeps time, but the weather icon on the right hand side does not show the current weather, will not update, nor will it allow me to touch the widget and enter into the settings/different cities. It was working fine up until about a week ago. I've tried restarting my phone and removing/re-positioning the widget, but no luck. It can't be uninstalled as it came with OS.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI don't see a setting anywhere. Surely there is a way to remove these items right?
View 8 Replies View RelatedOn my lock screen I've got the standard weather clock that comes with Sense 6 and below it there's a notification, but it only one. It shows a little arrow below it indicating that there's more notifications below and I can drag down to make the widget bigger. However this isn't saved and it airways reverts to showing just one.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have noticed a small blue "smudge" that shows up on dark colors. It's about and inch above the home button and about the size of a pencil eraser. Tried restarting. No change.
View 6 Replies View RelatedOr maybe I should say how many different methods can be used to initiate a screen capture?
View 22 Replies View RelatedJust got my new Moto X Pure. I'm seeing really faint vertical lines, most noticeable on a white background with the brightness on high, all over the screen. I'd honestly say they resemble some kind of light burn in if I didn't know better. They are quite faint and unobtrusive but I get distracted by it. Is this normal for a LCD TFT screen?
View 3 Replies View RelatedUpgraded from my 2013 Moto X. I use the cast screen feature to play music onto my Samsung smart TVs. Same internet access (UVerse). Never had an issue with screen lagging or sound skipping, even when using the 2013 Moto X for other activities while music is playing. With the new XPE it's horrible, even when it's just sitting on my desk. Is my WiFi direct not set up properly? I also feel my Google drive and Yahoo email app are incredibly slow now. I don't want to return this otherwise great phone, but it's not performing how I thought it would.
View 5 Replies View RelatedThe weather widget used to appear on the home screen. Now, all that appears is the time/day/date.
Have tried all the different location settings (high accuracy, power saving, and GPS only) but doesn't resolve the problem.
Since the widget won't appear on home screen, the settings can't be accessed to check if there's anything odd there.
Samsung Galaxy S5.
Not sure what I did but my home screen is missing the weather time and date. Not sure how to get it back
View 1 Replies View RelatedLast night I picked up my Galaxy SII and must have accidentally deleted my AccuWeather widget off my home screen. I have tried pressing and holding the screen and looked through the widgets, and yes I found the AccuWeather.com widget, but when I drag it back onto my phone home screen. I get all weather for the next five days on my home screen as well, instead of just the current weather with the temperature etc.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure what i did, but probably accidentally touched the screen in the wrong place, but now my Home screen no longer shows the clock and date box, all i have is a blank wall paper area above the above the gray google mic search bar. How do i get it back? i can't seem to find an option anywhere

View 6 Replies View RelatedI can't send a decent quality video clip taken with my phone over mms. It will only let me send unwatchable video, even if the video is only five seconds. Is there something I'm missing?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have 2 apps that I prefer to not have notifications from; boom beach and clash of clans. In settings under apps I set both apps to block all notifications, yet they seem to reset themselves to allow all notifications.
View 4 Replies View Relatedmaybe I am just missing something due to this being a unlocked phone - but on Verizon I am noticing my data drops while I am on a call.
View 8 Replies View Related I have one day left before I can return this phone and I just discovered that it does not even see my bit30 nes controller or my sharkk Bluetooth speaker. I have used these devices countless times on my OG X and my nexus 10 (both on 5.1.1) without issue. I have a nexus player and it sees that fine (haven't had a chance to try to connect it yet).
I did some research and all I can find to try is to put it in safe mode and try pairing. It still doesn't see either. Is there anything else I can try? If I can't get this resolved by tomorrow, I am sending it back permanently because I don't want to play risky games with the replacement they will send me.

Reminder: Doze basically sips power when idle. It will have no affect on mythical SOT statistics.
If you have a desk job, you may want to just leave your phone on your desk rather than in your pocket.
Ever since I did this the bluetooth doesn't work!
"7. Enable Developer options (and speed up animations) Moto X Pure Edition Developer Options
No matter which Android device we get, as soon as it boots up we immediately jump into the hidden Developer options and speed up the animations. This will make the entire phone feel so much more responsive and snappy.
Here’s how you do it:
Jump into your Settings app
Scroll down to the bottom and select About phone
Scroll to the bottom and press Build number 7 times
Press back button and select new Developer options at the bottom of Settings
Find window animation scale, transition animation scale, animator duration scale and select .5x for each"
I have since disabled the developer's option but it still will not recognise any bt devices..
I'm running Nova launcher and have checked those settings as well as the X's settings and can't find out how to get rid of the vibration when sliding to unlock.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my MXPE yesterday, and ever since I activated it I'm constantly recieving a notification that I have a voicemail. Every hour my phone will go off telling me I have a new one, but when I access my voicemail there are no messages. I'm on Sprint, and I've called their support and they've walked me through everything from resetting my voicemail to reprogramming the Sprint code in the phone, but it still won't go away.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've just got a Moto X Style and mostly love it (especially coming from my ancient Galaxy S3 which was slowwwww at opening apps)
One problem I'm having though is the seeming inability to turn on or off vibration when I get notifications. I used to use my phone in one of three ways:
1) Outdoors - Ringers/notifications on full volume, plus vibration
2) Indoors - Ringers/notifications quieter, no vibration
3) Bedtime - Ringers on but quiet, notifications silent, no vibration
I can't seem to get anything close to this. Even when I've gone into individual apps and turned off the vibration setting, it still vibrates! And this motor is almost as loud as the sounds!
When I get a new message from WhatsApp it doesn't notify on the top bar, it appears just the icon for this app. If this icon is already there, it doesn't change anything if I've received a new message, (I've to check pulling down the bar to see if I received new messages and who has sent it). My older cellphone used to show the message "Message from..." for like a few seconds, so I could see instantaneously when I'd got new messages.
View 7 Replies View RelatedExactly what it says, the clock dissapears from the home screen, apparently, randomly.Unlocked, brand new (with 2 or 3 weeks of use), X6 16 GB with the latest firmware v32.0.002 in Portugal, using a Vodafone SIM. Don't know if it happened also on the previous firmware because, as i sayd it, the fone is new and i also noticed that just a few days ago after updating the firmware.
