Exactly what it says, the clock dissapears from the home screen, apparently, randomly.Unlocked, brand new (with 2 or 3 weeks of use), X6 16 GB with the latest firmware v32.0.002 in Portugal, using a Vodafone SIM. Don't know if it happened also on the previous firmware because, as i sayd it, the fone is new and i also noticed that just a few days ago after updating the firmware.

I ended up doing a factory reset and that seems to have corrected the missing clock issue.
I have a nokia x6 and it has a internal crack that just appeared. Is that covered in the warranty. If that is not covered in the warranty then how much will it cost to get that repaired.
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust got a problem with my X6. When I switch it on the phone vibrates and the three lights at the bottom of the phone come on. ( the call, menu and end keys). But the screen stays black. I try pressing the power button but nothing. Take out the battery and leave it out for a while then but it back in. Press the power button, phone vibrates, the three lights come on but the screen stays black. I have not yet tried the four finger reset method although I guess I might have to.Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be.

I've tried hard reseting my phone, but the thing is i've put on a lock code. So whenever i turn my cell on it asks for lock code which i can't input cause of the touch screen being down. Now i really wanna get my precious data out of the mass memory. The phone memo doesn't matter since i got backup.

The problem I am having is moving the panels around. It says at the bottom of he screen it says to 'drag panels to move' but when I try to do this it just moves the screen around.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI started using an E72 recently and installed the latest software. However there is an annoying problem with it, from time to time, i.e. once a day, it freezes. The phone won´t respond to any key (you can press and nothing happens), except the email key if keep it press it will display the screen to send an email, but that is all.
I found that the problem in clock related. The clock icon disappears from the main screen and anything after will led to a frozen phone, reboot is the only option. Sometimes going to the clock applications solves the problem but not always.
I disable the automatic sync of the clock and left it manual. But that only has halved the occurrence of the problem.
I'm not sure what i did, but probably accidentally touched the screen in the wrong place, but now my Home screen no longer shows the clock and date box, all i have is a blank wall paper area above the above the gray google mic search bar. How do i get it back? i can't seem to find an option anywhere

In the previous software there is an option in the settings menu for turning off the homescreen and I can put a shortcut of it in the Go To menu so I can disable it whenever I feel like just seeing my wallpaper.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI love the bedside mode of the Storm 2, especially with the dock I recently purchased. The only problem is, I like the room dark as possible and even with the phone in bedside mode when charging, and the setting check to dim the clock, it's still far to bright.
Is there a way of having clock on, but have the screen go off with the usual setting to black the screen after say 30 seconds or whatever I choose for the backlighting time out, then have the screen come on if I reach over and touch the screen to display the clock, then letting the backlighting go off again after the preset time?
This would make the setup perfect for me, allowing me to use the Storm 2 as a bedside clock without having to have the display on all the time, but being able to turn it on for a short period of time as needed. If this is possible, can somebody post the settings needed
Backed up my X6 today then attempted to update to the latest software version.Ovi suite told me it couldn't connect to the update service and to try again later.So I turn it all off and now my phone won't start up at all. It's been plugged into the charger for over an hour and won't do anything, won't display the charging screen or start up. However when I do connect it to the computer my PC makes the "hardware connected" sound then the "hardware disconnected" sound immediately after, despite the device apparently being unpowered.

Neither of these did a format on my E: on the 16GB memory. All my pictures and music are still on the phone. How do i format the memory? When I plug the charger in it comes up with the white screen with NOKIA but the battery charging animation isn't there, and when I try turning the phone on the same white screen with NOKIA comes on but it stays on that screen until I take the battery out.

I'm thinking about some verbose information when symbian is booting ? Or some boot logs after boot ?If not, i'd like to say that it is very sad, because i'll never bye again nokia handset ever.
