I think ive tried everything from changing power settings to ensuring the router is allowing DCHP and have looked in nokia's global discussions
Backed up my X6 today then attempted to update to the latest software version.Ovi suite told me it couldn't connect to the update service and to try again later.So I turn it all off and now my phone won't start up at all. It's been plugged into the charger for over an hour and won't do anything, won't display the charging screen or start up. However when I do connect it to the computer my PC makes the "hardware connected" sound then the "hardware disconnected" sound immediately after, despite the device apparently being unpowered.

Neither of these did a format on my E: on the 16GB memory. All my pictures and music are still on the phone. How do i format the memory? Everywhere i've read it says that the hard reset deletes all files, but it didn't.

When I plug the charger in it comes up with the white screen with NOKIA but the battery charging animation isn't there, and when I try turning the phone on the same white screen with NOKIA comes on but it stays on that screen until I take the battery out.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust got a problem with my X6. When I switch it on the phone vibrates and the three lights at the bottom of the phone come on. ( the call, menu and end keys). But the screen stays black. I try pressing the power button but nothing. Take out the battery and leave it out for a while then but it back in. Press the power button, phone vibrates, the three lights come on but the screen stays black. I have not yet tried the four finger reset method although I guess I might have to.Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be.

Before I installed the update, I did a back up of my phone contents. Now, after the update I can't restore the backup because the phone keeps restarting. View 3 Replies View RelatedThe mobile was in my jeans when i was in class. Then i pulled it out afterwards. The touch screen wasn't working. But all the other keys are working fine. I've tried hard reseting my phone, but the thing is i've put on a lock code. So whenever i turn my cell on it asks for lock code which i can't input cause of the touch screen being down. Now i really wanna get my precious data out of the mass memory. The phone memo doesn't matter since i got backup.

I'm using the ZyXel Prestige 600 series.I've tried tweaking the advance settings in control panell>>settings>>connections>>destinations>>internet>>"mywirelssconnectionname">>advance settings and tried configuring a static ip address..but still everytime i try to connect to the internet, the browser shows "invalid server name"..its really frustrating.
