I've had my E72 for a couple of months now and I usually surf facebook and other sites using my wireless internet connection from my home. Today I've tried to get onto it and it will not load any page and keeps saying 'invalid server name'. I've never seen this message. I cannot go to any website, and I've tried several.
View 4 RepliesWhenever I am trying to connect to WLAN, it got connected but the moment I start browsing, it displays message 'Connection Failed - Access Denied'. Sometimes, it shows 'Invalid Server'. I am really not sure why it is happening as 3G is working fine in my phone.

From today afternoon I haven't been receiving emails, I can't use BBM or connect to the internet. Twitter and other apps say there is no network connection. When I try to set up email settings it says that my connection to the mobile network is on, but I am not in a wireless coverage area. I am in my house, and I've never had any problems with wireless coverage until today, so I am not sure what happened. I have already reset the phone several times by removing the battery.

I'm using the ZyXel Prestige 600 series.I've tried tweaking the advance settings in control panell>>settings>>connections>>destinations>>internet>>"mywirelssconnectionname">>advance settings and tried configuring a static ip address..but still everytime i try to connect to the internet, the browser shows "invalid server name"..its really frustrating. I've also tried changing the WLAN security mode..still no luck.

View 2 Replies View Relatedi just bought my n97 today. before i had n95. now my problem is kind og rare. i think i am used to wlan as i used it all the tme on my n95 just connect to the wlan and start surfing but now with my n97 i get connected to my wlan but when i start browsing and enter any adress in the "go to" bar for ex. www.Internet.com i get error "invalid server name" and goes for every web add i type in... it doesnt work even if i for ex go to Internet through menu>>>programes>>>Internet... it finds the wireless connection.. gets connected to it... but cannot open the page ... either its just blank page or i get error saying "invalid server name"
View 6 Replies View RelatedReinstalled Map Loader 3.0 many times as well as map updater. Neither of them are working at the moment for some reason. I recently did a format on my phone and it wiped all the programmes clean and bumped me back to factory loaded Nokia Maps 2 for my E71. Now I ran map updater and got the error "Connection to Map Server Interrupted" etc etc. Dug around and found a OVI Map 3 installer they used for macs fixed that. Now Map Loader won't work either, returns with cannot load catalogue. I've got maps before like a year ago, whats up now? I've tried on both my computers and the other virtually has 0 security. The router is fine nothing should be blocking it. Tried it on another internet connection and nothing is working.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo this is a new problem, never had this before. I often use wireless, but sometimes it has poor signal and is impossible to use so I also use simple mobile internet. Usually the phone using opera mini asks if you want to use mobile internet (not wireless) but now it almost never does, so I get the connection error message as there is no wireless, but I also cannot use my mobile internet. Just today it gave me problems because of that. bassicly, I cannot use internet, unless I have good wireless signal.And I have mobile internet as priority number 1 in my settings. So is there something else to do? This problem is appearing and dissapearing. Thought could be from bad wireless, it kinda locks itself on it or something, but turning off the phone doesn't help.I hope I gave all the neccesary details for someone to understand this

View 9 Replies View RelatedIs there some general known issue presently with the maps server? Yesterday, I hardly got anything loaded because the connection was dropped every now and then. Today, I can not get any map downloading properly started. I'd really need to get maps of Italy installed soon.I'm using the lastest Ovi Suite (downloaded and installed yesterday) and N95 8GB. I can get the country list to Ovi Suite application, but when starting the actual download, there is always just "Connection time out, The connection to the Ovi Maps server timed out, Try again".So, is it just me or is there something somebody should fix on server side?

However, after typing all the credentials and server name (exordia.co.za) it gives me an error message that read: "Cannot connect to email server or invalid server name". I have made sure that the details are correct. I have contacted my mail service provider and they want me to use notifysync, however that also does not work as it requires a license key that I do not have. I need help with the messaging -> email. I tried to set up personal email on my Nokia N97. I tried using Yahoo but it doesn't work. Then I tried using hotmail and it worked fine (but my hotmail is full of spam so I want to get my Yahoomail to work). It said that I have the username or password wrong. I got my HTC one yesterady. The build quality of this phone is amazing. But, there are a few things that annoy me with this HTC Sense version - When I check my data usage - on the dial pad I select *328 and then select the result "AT&T View Data Usage [*3282#]". Then it will say USSD code running, after that I get an error message "Connection problem or invalid MMI Code." I also see the message that "...A message will be sent to your phone". I am still receiving the message with my data usage, but the invalid MMI code is annoying.
When I select the phone icon from the dock, it always shows me the "Last Call" I have to scroll to the right to get to the call history - any way to make the call history as default selection?Next one is about the dock icons. It seems like I can only change these icons from if I'm in the App Drawer. If I'm on one of my home screens and move the dock icon to the screen, the icon gets duplicated on the screen and the dock icon remains.
BlinkFeed won't be as bad as it is made to be if you can select which feed you can see at what position. For example, I added my Calendar app to the feed, but to get to that I've to scroll down couple of pages. It would be nice if I can see my Calendar as soon as I log in into my phone.

I have called my service provider and they have sent me the settings and they have check on they side and have found no issues.
