I have been trying to install motocast wireless for a few days and cant figure it out. When it gets to seting it up, it says that there is no internet connection, but I do have internet on the comuter. I have tured off my firewall and virus (AVG) but still no go.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI had to get a new DSL router with security and motocast stopped working on my desktop. It still works on my wireless laptop. I uninstalled the motocast application on the desktop and re-installed it and it fried my internet connection settings on the desktop. I can get them back using a windows restore point but each time I try to reinstall Motocast it kills my internet connection settings again. It was working great before the new modem was setup. I don't understand why installing Motocast would alter my computers internet connection?

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to ics motocast wants to install on my pc and does not give me an option to say no and not have it show again, like the vista start screen. I decided to install motocast and just ignore it but when I rebooted it started my browser with a video for backup assistant after looking thru msconfig and regedit I believe this program to be malware like microsoft security 2012 or many other softwares that use extortion to sell their product. I am not questioning the validity of the backup software but rather the way it like motocast doesn't give me an option. When I called Verizon they said it was a Motorola problem so can someone please tell me how to get this MALWARE from loading! I did get the browser to stop loading after removing all of motocast via add/remove.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got my Droid Razr yesterday. I was able to connect it to my PC (windows XP) via USB and transfer some songs. But I cannot set up Motocast wireless, however. Every time I try, it checks for a wireless connection, then goes to a set up Motocast wireless screen. It sits there for a couple of seconds, then the programs just exits.
I have read through the forum, and based on some other recommendations I saw there, I unistalled Java, and went to java.com and downloaded the latest version. I have disabled my Windows Firewall, and stopped Real Time Protection on my Microsoft Security Essentials. I also unistalled the Motocast program, which had first loaded from my phone, and downloaded Motocast from [URL]
After the update to Android 4.0 on my Razr, MotoCast just doesn't work anymore. I tried to reinstall it but when i try to configure the wireless MotoCast it says it can't find an internet connection! I tried almost everything and nothing worke
View 3 Replies View RelatedI set up Motocast wireless without any issues, but cannot access the files after uploading/syncing. I can see my files listed, but they will not open. I can access mymotocast from my desktop and open the files with out a problem. On my phone (Electrify) I can change tabs (files, music, videos) and highlight my desktop's name, but cannot change the layout (list or thumbs), or open any of the files. There should not be any DRM issues, as all content is either personal, academic, or work-related.The only interaction that I can get is when long-pressing the filenames a javascript prompt comes up: bookmark link or copy link. I am at a loss.

But it will access the documents folder. A message is displayed saying the remote computer is not found. But it must be found ok as the other folders mentioned can be accessed.

Ditto for "unknown album". Same for "songs" with no name or no genre. MotoCast is, without asking me, including all sorts of sound effect and video clip and other mish-mash of media riff raff that it has tumbled upon in my document folders..It's nice that you want MotoCast to be an all'round helpful product, but the document functions need to be separated from the music and the pictures, and each of those should be separated from the documents.

When I try to set up email settings it says that my connection to the mobile network is on, but I am not in a wireless coverage area. I am in my house, and I've never had any problems with wireless coverage until today, so I am not sure what happened. I have already reset the phone several times by removing the battery.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo this is a new problem, never had this before. I often use wireless, but sometimes it has poor signal and is impossible to use so I also use simple mobile internet. Usually the phone using opera mini asks if you want to use mobile internet (not wireless) but now it almost never does, so I get the connection error message as there is no wireless, but I also cannot use my mobile internet. Just today it gave me problems because of that. bassicly, I cannot use internet, unless I have good wireless signal.And I have mobile internet as priority number 1 in my settings. So is there something else to do? This problem is appearing and dissapearing. But when I go to mymotocast.com using a browser on my pc, as it loads the music I get an error.In Chrome the error is "An error has occured which prevents the application from running: cannot call method 'get' of undefined." In Firefox the error is "An error has occured which prevents the application from running: c: is undefined."In Internet Explorer the error is ""An error has occured which prevents the application from running: unable to get the value of the property 'get': object is null or undefined."It's only with the music (although I can see my songs behind the error message). The tabs for Video and Files work fine - in fact, using the Files tab I'm able to get to my music. None of these files are on a C drive, btw.They are all in Windows 7 Libraries for "Documents" "Music" and "Videos" but the actual files are on a D drive. I suspect there is something in the code for the Music tab that's having difficulty with that but obviously I don't know.

It says "No connection available". Besides, when I look into my contacts, I couldn't use the search mode. It says "Building cache. I tried to download several files to test them on the phone's storage, but I am also unable to download any video using MotoCast. I can download pictures and documents. I have tried doing these operations through the Gallery app, as well as just browsing using the directory structure.
After establishing connection to PC running on Windows 7 via micro usb cable, there is a problem with keeping internet connection alive.The connection should work because the icon on the phones display shows that the phone is connected to the internet, but the connection seems to be lost somewhere between mobile device and PC (not mobile device and mobile network) although the phone is fully capable to transfer other data via cable between computer and phone, this is the same when connection is created via PC Suite or Ovi suite, or manually established connection using the mobile as a modem.The internet access is possible only after every new connections which works always randomly f.e. it fails/stops transferring data from/to internet after few seconds/minutes or transferred amount of data, it is always different.Windows diagnoses this problem as a problem with DNS server.SW version 022.007 RM-530, E72-1 Custom version 022.007.C00.001

I have a problem with trying to log into my wireless router when I am at home using my BB.
I am entering the right address to log into the routers login page, trouble is all I'm getting is the following error message:The server returned the following error while attempting to fulfil your request: "Connection timed out"
I can get on the internet no problem, have even turned off my O2 network and just left my wireless network on and can still get on the web so know the router is letting me connect, have even tried to change the browser from BB to Firefox to IE but still no joy.
I have noticed recently that my Electrify will lose it's data and Wifi connection when it is in sleep mode long enough. I have the sleep policy set to never and it still will only show the 4 bars for cell tower and that's it. After waking it up from sleep and giving it some time, it will reconnect to either 3g or to wireless. What do I have set wrong that it won't keep a connection in sleep mode?
