View 2 RepliesWhile reinstalling MotoCast from fresh download (clean; removed every bit of old installation and rebooted) got this error about MSIE browser detection. The only MSIE version on my machine is 8. No previous installations of MotoCast threw this error.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to install motocast wireless for a few days and cant figure it out. When it gets to seting it up, it says that there is no internet connection, but I do have internet on the comuter. I have tured off my firewall and virus (AVG) but still no go.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI had to get a new DSL router with security and motocast stopped working on my desktop. It still works on my wireless laptop. I uninstalled the motocast application on the desktop and re-installed it and it fried my internet connection settings on the desktop. I can get them back using a windows restore point but each time I try to reinstall Motocast it kills my internet connection settings again. It was working great before the new modem was setup. I don't understand why installing Motocast would alter my computers internet connection?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a DROID RAZR. I have installed the desktop client on two different machines. I can view pictures and listen to music but when I try to play any video format I receive the following error:
Error during video playback
MotoCast was not able to playback this file; it might not be in a supported format.
I tried to download several files to test them on the phone's storage, but I am also unable to download any video using MotoCast. I can download pictures and documents. I have tried doing these operations through the Gallery app, as well as just browsing using the directory structure.
I first installed Motocast a few months ago but uninstalled it and it was working fine.
Now I'm trying to re-install it on my computer and all it's doing is going through the motions of repairing the file file. But I can't launch it.
I have tried to install 2 different games: Fieldrunners & Need for Speed Shift and I get the error can't load since out of memory? I don't have that many games (8-10?) and have plenty of memory. This is much less than I had installed on my HTC TB & Droid X and had no issues.
Under App downloaded tab have 731mb used, 1.3G free
Under all tab, 725 mb used, 1.3g free
Under media area 1.6g used, 9.8g free
Under running tab, have 233 mb used, 121mb free
I have a 32g SD card installed as well.
Today my droid x 2 wont install or update my apps I get an error message that reads "couldn't install on USB storage or SD card". I have turned off my phone did a battery pull, took out sd card put it back in and cleared market data and cache. And still have the problem.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOver the past two days I began receiving a notification AOL "connection error". I do not believe this is an issue with AOL since other devices are not having the same problem. I tried a battery pull and factory data reset but the notification continues.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm getting a "Network connection lost" error shortly after the installation of a downloaded app is started. The status bar gets to about 15% and then the installation is interrupted. I've tried using WiFi and non-WiFi connections, but the result remains the same. My N8-00 was upgraded to the Belle OS over the weekend and it caused most of the apps to be uninstalled. Now I'm trying to get them back but fail to do so because of the error.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am getting through setting up my corporate sync> I can get through the following setup steps:
Open Applications tray, select My Accounts
Select Add Account
You will be at the Set-Up accounts menu with several other social network icons
Tap on Corporate Sync:
Enter: Domain nameuser name
Enter Password
Use secure server should be checked.
Enter Email address
Enter Exchange Server Address
Tap on Next to submit settings.
Handset will check with server and verify if successful. If you receive error could not auto detect server, touch OK to manually enter the server name. It then appears that I have connected to my exchange. I can then open up the email account settings and review/change the settings and I will always get the prompt that the update was successful. The connection error only appears when I open the account to check the inbox. The refresh symbol keeps spinning and eventually times out with the connection error.
I have set up a corporate synch account but am having connection issues. I ran through all the steps to set up the account and it said it was successful but when i try to synch i get a connection error
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a single corporate email account setup (Settings/Accounts), the account syncs correctly when on 4G/3G. It also syncs correctly on Wi-Fi as long as I force the phone to stay awake (scroll on the screen/push a button every so often to keep the phone awake). However when using Wi-Fi and I hit the power button shutting the screen off putting the phone to sleep, it causes my corporate sync account to throw a "Connection Error" icon (orange triangle with exclamation point in the middle) at the top of the screen. Why do I think it is a sleeping/Wi-Fi issue? Because if on Wi-Fi and I hit the power button and wait a few seconds and hit it again turning the screen on the CE icon is there. If I force the screen to stay on (method above) I never get the error. If I switch my Razr to use 4G/3G and try the same power button on/off test method, I never get the error.
I have confirmed in my Wi-Fi settings Wi-Fi Sleep policy is set to Never and I do not have any Smart Actions turning Wi-Fi off. This seemed to have happened after the .173 update. I have also forced my phone to connect to another Access Point in my house to try and isolate this issue to an AP problem but my Razr exhibits the same behavior. Also confirmed in My Accounts|Corporate Sync|Server Settings "Verify Server" that I get "Success!" in the Verification Result Window.
Droid RAZR Info:

Android version: 2.3.6

The only problem I'm having is with the Moto cast. I've done everything, I've installed on my computer. I've created a account, I've added folders. Beside my account user name is a green light. I've verify my e-mail address. When I try to finish set up on my razr and enter the exact e-mail & password I get the same error message.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've installed motocast on my pc and it works great connecting to my Droid RAZR. But when I go to mymotocast.com using a browser on my pc, as it loads the music I get an error. In Chrome the error is "An error has occured which prevents the application from running: cannot call method 'get' of undefined." In Firefox the error is "An error has occured which prevents the application from running: c: is undefined."In Internet Explorer the error is ""An error has occured which prevents the application from running: unable to get the value of the property 'get': object is null or undefined."It's only with the music (although I can see my songs behind the error message). The tabs for Video and Files work fine - in fact, using the Files tab I'm able to get to my music. None of these files are on a C drive, btw. They are all in Windows 7 Libraries for "Documents" "Music" and "Videos" but the actual files are on a D drive. I suspect there is something in the code for the Music tab that's having difficulty with that but obviously I don't know.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAnd my only problem so far, is my motocast says that the computer is offline. It is not, motocast is running on the computer, accounts are all synced, but i can not upload, or access the files on my computer.
View 6 Replies View RelatedCan the Bionic use MotoCast instead of ZumoCast. My wife finally decided to move to a smartphone, so she now has my Droid Bionic and I used her upgrade to move to the Droid Razr Maxx. Currently have ZumoCast (Bionic)and MotoCast (Razr)on our home PC, but would like to move to just one of those (preferably Motocast as it has more features). Would just try it, but not sure the Motocast out in the Market is the same.
View 5 Replies View RelatedEvery time I connect my phone to the original USB cable the Motocast USB program starts running and then it says please wait while Motocast USB loads your content, and finally the MML has stopped working window pops up with the only option to close the program. I have uninstalled the program and re-installed a new version of it, but that doesn't seem to work. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I have downloaded a patch that I replaced, even though when I tried to replace it the computer told me I required administrator authorization. However when I proceeded with this action it seems to have replaced the old one with the new one.I have no idea what to do, nor know where to find the problem in writing to post somewhere. My computer knowledge is very limited.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought my Xyboard 10.1 on 3/16/12. On 3/24/12 I attempted to sign in to MotoCast. I successfully set up my account on my laptop and chose the folders I wanted to sync. I then opened the MotoCast app on my tablet, entered my email address and password and received the following error notification: Unable to connect at this time, try again later.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI find that some AC3 formatted files can be played while others give me an error about needing an AC3 filter. I find this generally on the higher bitrate videos. For example one is ac3 @ 192k and it plays just fine while another is 640k and says i need an ac3 filter. to play any obviously ffdshow is installed and working to play any ac3. I am confused, I have mainly avi and mkv files.
View 15 Replies View RelatedBeen trying to sign in for a few weeks, but I keep getting told my account has been upgraded to a MotoCast ID. That's very nice and all, but I never get any e-mail from Motorola, even though I'm told my validation will be sent to my e-mail address (listed as on file). I had to create a new MotoCast ID (with a different e-mail address) in order to post to ask this question and for help, as I've requested a password reset a few times and none of them go to my e-mail.My old ID was part of the Motorola Feedback Network and contains the IMEI of my phone, and everything I'd need; this makes me think I could even have been invited into the soak test for the Bionic, but not received any e-mails (I was in at least one previous soak test). Can someone let me know how I can get my old account restored? This is kind of a big deal to me, and (by my understanding) was also a source of frustration the last time Motorola changed the way accounts worked.

View 8 Replies View RelatedIt looks like when I logged on using my motocast id, I lost all of my old settings and statistics. I had to resign up for everything including giving my meid number again. I lost my 5 posts, 69 comments and 2way pager stats. Did I do something wrong when I logged on using the motocast id and password or did everyone lose their old stats after the new logon id?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have it set up on my PC where I have 3 folders shared. I have a Movies folder, I have a TV Shows folder, and I have a Mixsets folder. I like to listen to DJ mixsets that can be rather large, anywhere from 50MB to 150MB in size. I can access my movies/tv shows off my PC at home just fine when I'm on a wireless network. I just go into Gallery>MotoCast and there i have my TV shows in one folder and Movies in another folder. The folder I named Dj Mixsets does not show up in either Gallery or Music app. That's fine cause when I go to the Files app, I can see all three folders on my PC. From there, I can still access my TV Shows and Movies just fine. But when I try to listen to any of the mixsets, it says Cannot connect to network, please try again. This is weird cause the Droid shows my home PC as "Online". Is it because the music files are really large that it won't play? MotoCast can play larger size video files no problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMotocast app was preloaded on new razr. I manually loaded motocast software on desktop and laptop. Motocast working great for getting pictures to and from desktop & laptop. I called tech suppoirt for email problem and was told to update my device to the latest OS. I did this and after rebooting device, there was no motocast app/logo and no USB selection window. I now can not download pics and can only upload files from my desktop and laptop.
View 2 Replies View RelatedDroid Razr; using MotoCast Wireless. XP computer is on all the time, no trouble connecting. Music, photos and documents all present and available all the time. But my iTunes playlists are not. Major bummer. MotoCast playback quality is far superior to G-music, but I really need my playlists!Itunes data folders are all in the normal places. The MotoCast docs clearly say that iTunes playlists are usable and in one place says expressly, "Note: Currently MotoCast Wireless supports playlists from iTunes only."
View 11 Replies View RelatedWasnt just a mere week ago, I had un installed and re installed the Motocast Software; all was fine til about a day or two ago when I noticed that my Shortcut icon of Motocast is no more; want a pic? I'll upload it in a min.
Well once again this is my weekend and again I usually use Motocast on my days off and lol once again I'm having issues. Tried playing back a video file but alas stops within 30seconds. I play again and it stops within 30seconds. Or Ill start to play a file and it takes seconds upon seconds upon seconds just to play the video file.
I do enable Wifi prior to using Motocast so I wouldnt think it has to do with that; but I am pretty sure that when my graphic shortcut icon goes corrupt so does my actual application for it to work properly.
Question is, why does it keep happening? Is it because my Windows Operating System performs some sort of update and causes it go haywire?
