I started using an E72 recently and installed the latest software. However there is an annoying problem with it, from time to time, i.e. once a day, it freezes. The phone won´t respond to any key (you can press and nothing happens), except the email key if keep it press it will display the screen to send an email, but that is all.
I found that the problem in clock related. The clock icon disappears from the main screen and anything after will led to a frozen phone, reboot is the only option. Sometimes going to the clock applications solves the problem but not always.
I disable the automatic sync of the clock and left it manual. But that only has halved the occurrence of the problem.
Exactly what it says, the clock dissapears from the home screen, apparently, randomly.Unlocked, brand new (with 2 or 3 weeks of use), X6 16 GB with the latest firmware v32.0.002 in Portugal, using a Vodafone SIM. Don't know if it happened also on the previous firmware because, as i sayd it, the fone is new and i also noticed that just a few days ago after updating the firmware.
My Bold 9700 keeps on freezing or has a clock spinning around for which I have to remove the battery to fix the problem. don't mention the fact that I might have too many apps installed as I don't and even if I did why should it be a problem? I have almost 20 apps on my iPhone and it never caused a problem wrt freezing or stalling.RIM should really up their game as Samsung and Apple will leave them so far behind in the market that it will be impossible to ever catch up.
I recently switched from the HTC one M8 to the Samsung S6 edge and have not looked back since. Samsung really does make terrific phones. One thing I was curious about, that I noticed recently, was that when I plug headphones into the phone, the little headphone icon appears in the top left corner and says that headphones are now connected and then the icon and message disappear. Coming from the HTC one M8 I am used to the headphone icon remaining there the whole time my headphones are plugged in and was wondering if this is normal for it to prompt me that the headphones are connected and then disappear?
Also, on a, possibly related, side note, having weird issues with the spotify app just crashing or pausing for no reason? I was thinking that it was either due to notifications I was getting, a bad headphone jack, or maybe the app is just bugging out.
I have just bought a brand-new E5 and i love it. but i noticed something. when i put the standby mode to "Basic" the clock is nowhere to be found. how is this? is there a way (without changing the standby mode screen) to place the clock on the main screen?
While I was attempting to move my alarm clock icon higher up on my menu, I hit the track ball to put it down and the icon disappeared. I restarted the phone and I cannot find it now. I hit the "show hidden" option, and it isn't there. The indication that the alarm is set still appears on my home page however.
Is there a way to get the alarm sound to be louder? I can sleep right through it. I downloaded another alarm app and the same thing happens. When I listen to the alarm sound in the settings it sounds loud, but then when it goes off I barely even hear it.
I just notice that my clock and calculator icon is no where to be found on my iphone, i tried spotlight and resetting the layout and nothing came up, i try googling and all said that clock and calculator can't be erase so it have to be in the iphone somewhere and the others who have the same problem seem to have their problem solved with resetting layout. My iphone is jailborken so I'm not sure if that is what causing this problem...
All too frequently my BB 9900 touch decides to just flash up the spinning clock icon and be generally unresponsive. Similarly sometimes the phone refuses to wake up for a minute or two when the unlock button is pressed / having been in the holster etc.
Something weird has started happening to my Nokia Icon. It's been working great but lately I wake up to a frozen phone! I go to sleep, and it's working normally, then in the morning I push the "wake" button and the screen comes on, usually showing a time from a few hours earlier, and then it's frozen. I have to do a reset to restart the phone and then it works fine. I thought at first it was because I was leaving it on the charging pillow but it happens even if it's just sitting on the table.
About 5% of the time when I send an email, ithe message does not get sent immediately but shows a clock icon where there would be a check mark if it had been sent. I don't find any documentation on what the clock icon is supposed to mean. Any message that exhibits the clock just sits and does not get sent until I manually select "Resend". On my old 8800, occasionally if the service could not be contacted or was busy a message would hang around until the service became available and it would be sent automatically. In the current case, no matter how long I wait (days) it never gets sent automatically.
I'm a relatively new Smartphone user and am still getting used to my 8530 Curve. Over the last couple of days whenever I go to do anything on my phone (check facebook, check email, switch to another application, etc) I get this little black clock in the middle of my screen and it's like everything freezes for a few seconds. What is this and what does it mean?
I just recently got the bb bold 9000 but somehow its seems like almost every function I perform, the clock icon appears in the center and the phone goes all slow. I've got a 1gb memory card and I only used less than 50mb + my app memory I got a lot of free space. Can anyone advise me please?
My blackberry torch gets a small turning black clock looking icon in the middle of it. When this happens my phone is frozen. The "clock like" icon continues to turn. When this happens I can not do anything with it. I cannot even turn it off. I fixed it by taking out the battery.
I live in Canada and when I cross oever to the United States i need to shut down my provider in order not to pay fees for roaming I`ve done this often in the past without any problems until yesterday.ver since i turned it back on, the hourglass icon pops up every few seconds which is extremely annoying My BB is only 18 months old but must say I seriously think i have a lemon. I`ve always had odd problems with it.Problems none of my friends have with theirs. This is really making me think of swithcing to Apple Does anyone else have this latest problem with their Torch 9800
I just got my tour after doing my 30 day exchange from the curve 8530. i'm in love! i have a question though. i have an icon on my browser (picture attached, it's the one that looks like a box with two green boxes around it) and i was wondering if it's normal and what it means? Also, my clock when I enter bedside mode is aligned to the right more so than in the middle. Anyone else's look like this?
Multiple times throught the day my BB wil have a little time clock icon that shows up and while it's there the phone is delayed and I can't do anything with it until it goes away. I found a thread that suggested that I make sure I check all my running apps, which I did and shut down all but the defaults and the icon would still pop up. Is anyone else having this problem or know of a solution to this?
My curve is operating really slowly and when I try to open or send a text or open a mail, I get a very small clock icon appear. After about 20 secs, the text or mail opens. Not able to send any e mails either. Thought too many stored mails may be the problem but device won't now allow me to delete. Battery also running low after just a few hours, even after fully charging.
I've had my 820 for about 4 weeks now and am loving it but I seem to have a problem with the keyboard, on certain forums like wpcentral whenever I use IE10 to answer a thread the keyboard will pop up and then disappear again and I can't enter any text because the keyboard disappears to quick.
