Multiple times throught the day my BB wil have a little time clock icon that shows up and while it's there the phone is delayed and I can't do anything with it until it goes away. I found a thread that suggested that I make sure I check all my running apps, which I did and shut down all but the defaults and the icon would still pop up. Is anyone else having this problem or know of a solution to this?

My curve is operating really slowly and when I try to open or send a text or open a mail, I get a very small clock icon appear. After about 20 secs, the text or mail opens. Not able to send any e mails either. Thought too many stored mails may be the problem but device won't now allow me to delete. Battery also running low after just a few hours,even after fully charging.

View 4 Replies View Relatedyesterday I got a phone call, so my ringtone was ringing and then suddenly the sound of the ringtone become very small. I thought it was a temporary problem. After finished talking on the phone, I tried to call to my 8900 and the ringtone become small like it was. Then I tried battery pull. Test the ring again and still the same. I also tried to play music and the sound is as small as the ringtone. All volume level already at the highest but all music and ringtones are so small, they cannot go any louder.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI went to a different time zone last month and of course changed my clock on my Curve 8520 to that zone (6 hours ahead of my home zone EST). Of course when I returned I changed back. Since then every time I sync to my computer the zone changes to a different time (7 hours behind my zone). Also now after a sync when I click on the clock icon it shows 2 analog clocks. One large one with the new wrong time and a small one to the left showing the correct time. After I reset the time I get only one large analog clock showing the correct time until I resync again.I have checked and rechecked the settings. I have changed the date/time source setting from 'Blackberry' Network Time to 'Network' Time and this does not make any difference. I've pulled the battery. I've reset the sync maagement options.What a pain having to change the time every time I sync. I've called my service provider (rogers) and they went through the same steps I have already tried.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI have a little problem, if we can consider this a problem. When i receave a SMS from a friend X, my Blackberry lag (the screen doesn't change, for like 0.5 sec). But when I receave a SMS from let's say Y, it can take up to 5 to 10 seconds before the screen move or I can move with the track pad to see the message. It's annoying.
So here is what I think, Is this because.. :
- I have over 35 000 SMS in the DB ?
- I have like 100 SMS from X and 5000 from Y ?
- My phone is on the vibrator but for Y he has a music ?
- Is this OS 5 ? But he is faster then OS 4 and I updated a while ago ?

There is a small icon on the screen (only had blackberry two weeks) there is usually a number next to it, it was 4 earlier and now its 3, it's a circle and it looks like an arrow with a small red mark on the end of it, what is it and how can I get rid?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSeems like when I wake up the phone, it takes a second for the clock to change to the correct time. Phone is locked, pressing the power button unlocks the display and the time stamp is from when the phone was locked, a second later the correct time changes.I've tried clearing cache on the following services, but the issue is still there. If i lock the phone and unlock it within a few minutes the time is synch fine and there is no delay. If i leave the phone locked for more than 5 minutes than the delay is noticeable.

I've been using my Z5 Compact with all options underneath Stamina Mode switched on, however, I've noticed that upon picking up my phone to use it, the data connection isn't instantly available, rather I have to wait for 10 seconds or so before I can use any data.
I've been trying to isolate where the issue lies and it seems that as long as I have Stamina Clock disabled, all is well. I've only noticed this since the recent firmware update, but not sure whether that is the cause.

Since new-I have been experiencing the problem where the phone hangs and a small clock appears in the center of the screen. While this clock is there, nothing can be done on the phone-it normally lasts for around a minute or two. View 9 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 3GS is set to change time automatically with the Daylight Savings change. That worked as the phone time itself is correct, but the times for the different places in the built-in World Clock app are still off by an hour (they are on the old time). This is also true of my husband's iPhone 3G. Strangely, I have an iPod touch that adjusted both its system time and the World Clock times without difficulty.
I have tried syncing the phone, toggling on/off the update time automatically, and rebooting, but the time is still incorrect. If I try adding a new place, it will also have the wrong time.
There may also be an issue with other apps - the ESPN app had the start time of a game today off by an hour as well.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?
Edit: To clarify, the times are wrong for US cities that do observe DST, such as New York, Chicago, etc.
isn't there a way to include the time of missed calls on my BB8900?It is logging incoming/outgoing/missed calls correctly, but no time stamp on any...I think it is important, particularly for a business oriented phone, to include the time of each call was made/received/missed. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Username: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
After these settings have been restored I am still unable to send and receive a picture message. Things that I have tried: Battery Pull Uppercase and Lowercase entry for my TCP Settings I considered doing a factory reset but I don't want to lose my brickbreaker high score
Some one added a small globe/world icon to the right of the number icon (123) at the bottom right of my screen which when pressed opens to the right revealing a ton of images and special characters that is the most help addition ever!
