The small clock that indicates that something is loading has been running for a couple of hours. Functionality of device is severely limited. This has been occurring frequently.

Since new-I have been experiencing the problem where the phone hangs and a small clock appears in the center of the screen. While this clock is there, nothing can be done on the phone-it normally lasts for around a minute or two. Once it disappears, the phone again operates as normal, however the clock appears again and I am back at the problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMultiple times throught the day my BB wil have a little time clock icon that shows up and while it's there the phone is delayed and I can't do anything with it until it goes away. I found a thread that suggested that I make sure I check all my running apps, which I did and shut down all but the defaults and the icon would still pop up. Is anyone else having this problem or know of a solution to this?

Not able to send any e mails either. Thought too many stored mails may be the problem but device won't now allow me to delete. Battery also running low after just a few hours,even after fully charging.

View 20 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded the same task killer onto my desire s as I had onto my hero but with the desire there are always several apps running minutes after I've killed them. I've had to configure the task killer to kill apps every 30 mins. I don't think the task killer is to blame as it works well enough on the hero but maybe android 2.2 is overriding it. The task killer is 'advanced task killer v1.9.6 build 76' by Rechild. Is this normal behaviour for android 2.2 or is the task killer app simply not coping?

Noticed.. when the screen is on, the clock doesnt update?
For example. Phone is on charge, lock screen clock is shown. Time doesnt move.
Lock/unlock and time updates.
The IM service is always running in applications. I have never even opened the IM application or set it up. It usually is using up between 3.1 and 3.7 MB in the memory, which isn't a big deal. It is running one process and two services. Any way to disable the IM app from constantly running in the background. I had disabled it in the Task Manager to shut off two minutes after the screen goes off but whenever the phone wakes it turns back on and seemed to make my data issues worse. I can't say for sure that adding it to the auto kill list directly affected the data connection because it may have just been another bad day for the Bionic.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo lately, I've been having trouble with my storm running very slow. It does the "loading" graphic, or the spinning clock, or whatever it's called ALL the time. I pop my battery all the time and it doesn't seem to help. And the Storm will do this even when I have barely anything open. For example, at the moment, if I press the menu key, the only programs I have are my browser, BBM, the home icon, message icon and phone icon. That's it. But every time I pick my phone up to do something, I get the loading thing. I tried clearing my browser cache, but that didn't help. I also deleted a bunch of saved y!m message logs and deleted some pics, but still no go. It never used to be this slow, I have Verizon Wireless, and I'm running on V4.7.0.148.

After Upgrading my 9700 to OS 6 there has been serious memory issues with my device. I am always shot of memory on the device. I had to uninstall my GPS apps and many utility software.I feel the 512 MB onboard memory is too small to OS 6 which take up lots of space.

I also have a first generation iPad which is running on 5.1 so I'm just not quite sure as to what is going on in my laptop (which is an Acer Aspire One netbook, and iTunes is running at 10.1 I think).
