I have upgraded my X3-02 to the new software, and I like it what you guys did, swipe to unlock, swipe to open apps, etc. But why can't I disable the Homescreen? In the previous software there is an option in the settings menu for turning off the homescreen and I can put a shortcut of it in the Go To menu so I can disable it whenever I feel like just seeing my wallpaper.
View 4 RepliesUnlocked blackberry bold 9700 (v5.0.0.405, Platform 5.1.0.112) I've had for about 9 months now. Tried to connect to wifi in an airport without success and deletetd the profile. I've never used the wifi before and don't plan on using it again. Now I can't get rid of the inactive grey wifi icon on my homescreen, and occasionally I find my phone connected to AT&T public wifi in random places. I've tried restoring default wifi settings to no avail.

View 3 Replies View RelatedExactly what it says, the clock dissapears from the home screen, apparently, randomly.Unlocked, brand new (with 2 or 3 weeks of use), X6 16 GB with the latest firmware v32.0.002 in Portugal, using a Vodafone SIM. Don't know if it happened also on the previous firmware because, as i sayd it, the fone is new and i also noticed that just a few days ago after updating the firmware.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off. Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of today's date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there. I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.

Switched back to "Standard Mode", but found my home screen gone, with a blank page in it's place. I found some directions on how to move pages around, making one a home screen. I selected the page I wanted as home screen and moved it to the page where the white house icon is highlighted. I was done but noticed nothing had changed. Home page still blank, so I did it again. I find that whenever I try creating my home screen page by moving it to the highlighted white house icon, the white house icon shifts to the left, remaining blank.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have been using the Foursquare app for the past few weeks and it has worked well, never had a problem with a gps signal. All of sudden a couple of days ago, the app will only work at home. I have tried it at several places that I have checked in at before, all of them outside, and Foursquare cannot find a signal, it shows a signal icon with an X in it.... and I cannot check-in at the venue. When I arrive at home, and go inside, the app finds a signal and works perfectly. I have walked away from the house and as soon as I am out of wifi range, the app stops working.

The message that appears is always "security incorrect" even though I am very sure that the password I keyed in is the same as the password I have for my home WLAN.There is no problems with my home WLAN because I can use my laptop to access it and I'm currently using it. All the other menus or navigating around the phone is smooth as silk. I do run a live wallpaper but changing to a static one it seems the same. With all the horsepower this phone is supposed to have I expected those screens to just to fly by smoothly.
I don't know what happened. One minute I was charging my phone via my macbook, the next minute, it was ringing and all I saw is a blank (white) screen. I answered the call and then, I turned off my phone (by pulling out the batteries). I tried turning it off (again by pulling out the batteries) a couple of times, but all to no avail.
Initially, I though my sytem crashed, but I don't think it's completely busted because my alarm made a resounding noise this morning.

Upon taking it out of my bag that morning (where there were no liquids), I was horrified to discover that the entire left and middle part of the screen was white, with a gradual faded clearing toward the right. Sounds were still working, I could place calls, but of course can't read any of my contacts or text messages, or commands on my phone. I can lock the screen and change the volume but nothing else. The phone stays like this for 3-4 hours then returns to normal.
