so last night i restarted my phone . after this the following happened my alarm had no tone selected my "home " key doesnt do anything.I get no notification icons on the top bar ( they are set to on ) my ringtone defaulted to something i hadnt selected when you drag down on the notification atthe top there was a "settings" icon this has now vanished.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got this phone yesterday, and everything's been working great except for wifi.I have wifi at home, and the phone is able to connect to it (obtain an ip address, show signal strength, etc.), but internet is not available.i cannot browse or use the market application because it's not really connected to the internet.I only have this problem at home, however. Wifi on my x10 works great everywhere else.My brother's phone and both of our laptops are able to access wifi at home, so I'm thinking it's a settings problem on my phone?

My feedback from support chat basically said that the phone is made to do that and that since the phone is functioning correctly there is nothing they will do.

I am pretty sure I am a capable person, and should be allowed to control my phones notification functions.
MY Z2 JUST WENT OFF NOW, ITS NOT COMING ON. I've tried the hard reset, and the red button in the sim slot space, still didn't on. I was playing a game when it went off.

I've tried trouble shooting mentioned on other parts of this forum. I didn't have the google maps "shake to send feedback" feature on, and this behavior is happening on multiple music apps (Podcast Addict, Google Music, Sony Music, Spotify, etc). Â So this seems to be a problem native to the phone, not a third party application.
I updated my x10 mini pro a few days ago to android 2.1 The problem is that after the update the menu, home and back keys don't work after screen timeout so I have to press the key on the top of the phone to activate the screen and then unlock it.The point is why the hardware keys on the front don't work after screen timeout? Pressing the key on the top and then unlocking the phone can be really annoying...

In the previous software there is an option in the settings menu for turning off the homescreen and I can put a shortcut of it in the Go To menu so I can disable it whenever I feel like just seeing my wallpaper.

Unlocked blackberry bold 9700 (v5.0.0.405, Platform 5.1.0.112) I've had for about 9 months now. Tried to connect to wifi in an airport without success and deletetd the profile. I've never used the wifi before and don't plan on using it again. Now I can't get rid of the inactive grey wifi icon on my homescreen, and occasionally I find my phone connected to AT&T public wifi in random places. I've tried restoring default wifi settings to no avail.

The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?

I have to disable one to get networking to work. Ill try locale app but networking should work seamlessly.Now I see the 3G icon and the H icon whirring away and I have 'Mobile network' disabled.Anyone else having these network issues? Does the Legend notify you if youve had an OTA update?
