Sep 18, 2015It seems like all of a sudden my Nexus 5 has decided that whenever I have Bluetooth turned on that it is holding the device awake. Even when no devices are connected (connects to my car and a BT speaker).
I'm sure it didn't used to do this.
Because of the hold awake battery life is down compared to normal.
Then from GSAM:
You can see that BT sharing takes up a non-trivial amount of power. I'd like to get this thing back to normal.
Fully patched firmware, including today's Security patch.
I'm currently working around this by turning BT on only when I want to use it. That is difficult....
BB Bold :: 9900 Always Freezes When Bluetooth Turned On
Nov 27, 2012I am experiencing a major problem with my BB 9900. Whenever I tried to turn on the Bluetooth, it freezes the phone and shutting down and restarting the phone will not even resolve the problem. I must removed the Sim from phone before the phone can be working and immediately I re-inserted the sim, the phone freezes again.
The phone will not work again with SIM inserted except I wipe off the phone memory when sim is not inserted and reinstall it to a later day. More so, the WiFi does not comes up whenever I tried to turn it on. What could be done to get this phone back to the good working state.

Sep 27, 2012I have just updated my phone's firmware to version 4.1.B. The updating went on well. After updating I turned on my phone and it started optimizing with my apps and that went well too. Then I was browsing through my phone's settings option and went to tethering and wifi hotspot option and turned on the bluetooth tethering. After that my phone rebooted and it keeps on rebooting on itself. It wont connect to my PC. I tried removing the battery but when I turn it on its the same thing.

Phone becomes very hot and it is very complicated to turn off bluetooth because it keeps restarting and screen is mainly frozen when it appears. I tried put out the battery, but when I turn on the device, bluetooth is on and everything happening again. Everything is ok when I manage to turn off bluetooth.

Jul 10, 2010There's the timezone issue they have to fix, all inbound txts are in a different timezone.Also, when Im at home with 3g and wifi activated, apps will have alot of trouble getting to the internet. I have to disable one to get networking to work. Ill try locale app but networking should work seamlessly.Now I see the 3G icon and the H icon whirring away and I have 'Mobile network' disabled.Anyone else having these network issues? Jun 21, 2012My Blackberry bold and iPhone 4 were absolutely fine with 3 different cars. I have just upgraded to the iPhone 4s and now the phone connects to the bluetooth but doesnt work properly. It rings and the screen shows that there is a call there, it even turns the radio off but the voice is coming out of the hadset. In previous versions i think you could select Audio Device 'in call' but you cant on the 4s. I have tried it in an Audi, a new Volvo and a BMW so i think that the car kits should be fairly up to date.

It prompts me to use connect to iTunes . I have done all iTunes updates but it says it cannot be restored due to error 14.
It restored correctly once this weekend and functioned for all of an hour before it died.
I'm afraid I'm within days of the one year warranty. Because I live in a rural area I can't get to a Rogers or IApple store I cannot conveniently take it in for replacement or repair. Â
I've had nothing but problems since I updated to the os7.

Jun 24, 2010I had a Bluetooth earpiece (Plantronics 925) and was in a voice call with my wife on her iPhone 4. When I initiated FaceTime and it transitioned over, it dropped the Bluetooth audio and reverted to the onboard speaker and microphone. With FaceTime's simplified GUI, there's nothing to switch the audio back to the headset, and tapping my button on my earpiece did nothing.
FYI, I also tried this with wired headphones and the audio continued on the headphones properly (didn't go into speakerphone mode).Looks like Apple doesn't really like, care, or know Bluetooth much or enough to implement AVRCP for controlling playback, or using Bluetooth audio for non telephony purposes.
