Xseries :: Date Not Changing When Nokia X6 Turned Off
May 11, 2010I have an X6 16GB, which I turn off at night when I go to bed, about once a week I switch it on in the morning and the date hasn't changed from the previous day. The same problem occurs whether I have automatic time update on or off. Also once or twice a week it will download emails with the date 01/01/2000 instead of today's date. I can log into my emails via Outlook Express on my p.c and the date will be correct there. I have software version v20 installed, the same problems still occurred on the previous firmware as well.

Feb 11, 2012I have upgraded my X3-02 to the new software, and I like it what you guys did, swipe to unlock, swipe to open apps, etc. But why can't I disable the Homescreen? In the previous software there is an option in the settings menu for turning off the homescreen and I can put a shortcut of it in the Go To menu so I can disable it whenever I feel like just seeing my wallpaper.

Apr 8, 2010So I've spent most of today trying to set up two email POP accounts. just how you want to spend your time hey? Both have exactly the same server settings. I have one working well after hours of frustration. It seemed that I could only get this first account to sync when I set the email account up through the SYNC EMAIL menu (now I can't find this anywhere). (this is after using the email wizard, getting connection but no new messages). This second account was created with the email wizard as I can't find the SYNC EMAIL command. Both accounts seem to connect. But only one collects the gazillion test emails I keep sending.

Jan 27, 2010We are currently running a test of a variety of Nokias - E52, E72 and E75 at my work. However, one user (using an E52) is experiencing problems with Mail for Exchange. She cannot send emails at all. An error message pops up saying "Unable to complete command" and then exits composition mode when trying to create a new email. I have been in contact with the tech support guys at work who're in charge of the Exchange server, but this user's account is just like everyone else's. We have tried doing the *#7370# trick several times as well as even swapping units - the units work with other users. Just not her. The phones are installed with the latest available firmwares, by the way. What do we do?

Jan 7, 2010I just bought this phone yesterday and I am already unsure if I made the right decision. The phone has only 70 something MB memory, of which 28 or such is taken up b the apps. There only 50+ plus mem left. There aren't any sounds or images preinstalled in this phone (not a single one).
Now this Voice Command thing is preventing me from listening to music. At first, whenever I switched the radio on, it asked me to activate the Voice command feature. Now when I selected it, it keeps on displying "Speak Now" every 4 seconds, interrupting the whole music. I try to speak commands like radio, but it doesn't work.Can someone guide me? It prompts me to use connect to iTunes . I have done all iTunes updates but it says it cannot be restored due to error 14.
It restored correctly once this weekend and functioned for all of an hour before it died.
I'm afraid I'm within days of the one year warranty. Because I live in a rural area I can't get to a Rogers or IApple store I cannot conveniently take it in for replacement or repair. Â
I've had nothing but problems since I updated to the os7.

Jun 14, 2010I have had my Nokia 500 music Xpress for approx 8 mths now and i love it but about a month ago it turned itself off and i thought it was just a one off, it happened a few times, I would remove battery and sim and put them back in and turn phone back on. Nov 8, 2012I have just bought a Lumia 920 today, and now have the problems described in the thread subject... Every few minutes while idle, the phone will power down and immediately power up again. This does render the phone useless to me.. When trying to shut it down to remove the SIM card I noticed I cannot even shut it off. It would instantly turn itself back on again.
Did anyone else notice this kind of behaviour from their Lumia 920 (or maybe other phones as well)? I was really looking forward to this device and this really ruins it for me
