LG G4 :: Turned Off Noise Suppression And Turned On Call Clarity Enhancement
Oct 22, 2015
I sometimes experience heavy echo.Often, it's when I call my mom's verizon land-line; her cordless phone is connected to a medical alert "fallen-can't-get-up" device so I kind assumed it was related to that.Recently, however, I've had sporadic echo talking to other users.
Just now I turned off noise suppression and turned on call clarity enhancement. However, it occurs to me that since I have another LG G4 on my account and also a samsung, I should do some comparisons between the phones to make sure it's not my phone.
I don't see any option to turn on/off microphone noise suppression under settings -> call on my Z3+ (E6553) . But I have this option on my Xperia ZL (also running 5.0.2).
My IPhone 5 suddenly turned off and can not be turned on.
It prompts me to use connect to iTunes . I have done all iTunes updates but it says it cannot be restored due to error 14.
It restored correctly once this weekend and functioned for all of an hour before it died.
I'm afraid I'm within days of the one year warranty. Because I live in a rural area I can't get to a Rogers or IApple store I cannot conveniently take it in for replacement or repair. Â
I've had nothing but problems since I updated to the os7.
My iPhone 5 has an account through ATT. I just found out today that for the past year, my phone was forwarding all my unanswered calls to another number.Â
My phone's call forwarding feature was NOT turned on. I never called in to set this up with ATT. They have no record of this being turned on and my phone was never sent a PIN code for authorization for turning this forwarding on.Â
The number my calls are being forwarded to answers as a female robot voice (similar but NOT the same as the ATT voice) which speaks my number to the caller. However if I call the "forwarding" number directly... busy signal. Needless to say I have never seen this phone number before and its not an ATT phone.Â
I'm posting this because ATT and the carrier responsible for the forwarding number, broadband.com, are so far mute on this issue. I am getting zero resolution but I consider this a grave security issue. So my best theory is some app has switched this forwarding on but the phone shows as if forwarding is off.Â
Every time my wifi is turned on and I receive a call; while answering it, the call is being interrupted.. is it normal?! and if not, how can I solve this prob?!
I use Xperia Z2 and SCR10 cover. There is a protective glass, but problem was before I started to use that glass. A firmware is the last 23.4.A.1.232, but problem began earlier (about two months ago).
During a phone conversation the cover Scr10 is closed, the screen is switched off (no lighting). But a touchscreen is still working, and by my ear I press the buttons on the display (lighting of screen is turned off!!!), I start programs, I open the top bar, I come into settings (most often in power management, because battery is on center of top bar), etc.
If I turn off wi-fi and 3G on the iphone, can I use Siri for contacts and notes stored local on the iphone? (Verizon network)Can I place a phone call using Siri with wifi and 3G turned off?
i don't want posts stating this has been reported before-the search enging sux on here.
as soon i turn off the wifi, the call quality goes back to normal. is this yet another bug? will it be fixed with an update? what's the story on this moto?
Can any of you confirm how is the Video Clarity whilst making Video calls on Skype. is the Video and call clarity good enough.I guess not many people have tried this since the PR 1.2 release. Dont see any posts so far on people confirming it?
Has anyone else noticed a crackling noise (like bad reception / interference) when placing calls? I want to say what I notice is when I'm getting the ring back while waiting for someone to pick up is the "only" time I hear it. The audio in calls seems to be ok. It's sounds like a weak signal or interference. As far as I know (though I use my phone more for data than voice).I haven't noticed anything horrible as far as reception/call audio in calls, aside from when calling my mom, but I think that's her (she's famous for leaning on the mic or mumbling and trailing off). I start to think I must be old (I'm not) and losing my hearing (I'm not) but then I just realize it's herI don't know if it's because usually when I make a call I just unlock the screen and make the call and it was trying to re-start any data sleeping modes and such or if it's something else...
ok so i downloaded a video yesterday to my phone cause in order to watch it, i need to save it and so i did. it wasn't the first time i did it, i i did quite a lot and so i tried to go the videos and open it, instead my bb turned of by itself and the screen turned white and blurry whenever i opened the video from my phone. i thought that the memory card itself was broken but it wasn't, i can still see the pictures and my musics. i tried to connect my phone to the computer with the cable used to sync musics, pictures, etc to my phone and when i checked the videos, there wasn't any video in it in the file itself. i was confused and for some reason it also turned off even though i didn't press anything and it rebooted itself and i guess it happened like this when i downloaded that video. is there any chance of repairing it? my brother said that he himself had gone through the same problem as me and he said to me to take the battery out and leave it for a day and it'll turn back to normal but i don't know if it's going to be ok though so is there any other easy solution?
i dont know what happened exactly, i was lestining to the music today t, then when i finished i put my iphone beside me then i wanna make a call and trying to open it but nothing happened no light no voice no vibration nothing at all , in other side i make a call from another phone to my iphone and suddenly it ringing but no vibration no voice no screen so what is that mean?
My brother picked up his iP4 yesterday and a ZAGG invisiheld installed at Best Buy this afternoon. It's been working ok all evening until now when he was messing with the FB app and it just turned off. Ben trying everything to get it turned on also, not working. My iPhone and my sister-in-law's iPhone both got Zaggs installed today at BB and they're doing fine
After I bought my bold 5, the screen became faulty some time after and I had to change the screen, 3 days after that, my phone turned off while plugged to my PC and up till now wouldn't on, I've tried plugging to my PC but that wouldn't work also, I also tried a hard reset but the red light wouldn't even on.
blackberry turned itself off yesterday and now wont turn on when i put it on to charge a battery with a cross on it comes up and has been there for the past 3 hrs but nothing seems to be happening?
My phone no longer rings, but the settings have all been verified as normal. No special ringtones are involved in fact I mostly have defaults everywhere on the phone. I have only seen the typicaly answers assuming people have not checked the simple tings or the others that say BB has this major flaw and does it on its own and only a full reset (whatever that is will solve the problem. Is there any simple way to change this obviously commonly reported flaw without removing a battery?
I've had my BB Torch for about 3-4 months. Today I came home and was talking on the phone. Everything seemed ok. Then I tried making a phone call and it kept hanging up. Was able to finally make the call. Then the battery went on red and asked to be recharged. I plugged it in. It turned itself off while lights on the green and red buttons on the front of the phone were flickering. Still doing it every time it reboots. It's not turning on. Took the battery out. Rebooted a few times and it turned itself off again. It says to stop turning it off to press any key, but it's not working. Then it stayed on for a couple of seconds and it said that it's in safe mode. Tried to press the reset option, but it turned itself off again. Took the battery out again for 5 minutes. Put it back in. It rebooted. Stayed on for a couple of minutes. Tried to update the software, but it turned itself off again. Still not turning back on. It was really hot outside today and I was sweating. Figured that maybe it got wet, but I looked at it and nothing looks to be damaged.
I was texting and the phone just turned off, I tried to wake him up again but it didn't. I connected it to the charger to see what happened and a charging icon appeared while the led light was blinking in orange, but it was not the normal charging icon that appears when you're charging the phone it was just an empty battery with the lightning icon inside. I thought it had no battery left and I wasn't realizing it so I left it there to charge but nothing happened. I contacted support from HTC through their live chat feature and they told me to try a battery calibration but it didn't work (I think it was because i had the fast boot mode turned on).
My HTC ONE turned itself off and power button + volume up for 2 minutes ex. but didn't work. Flash light is still working and it's flashing green as if I have notifications. Also home and back buttons kept on lighting up since my last try of two minutes under the light.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy S5 and the S Planner-calendar. I am also syncing with my Google calendar. The thing is, I never need notifications for appointments, I look at the calendar from time to time anyway. So, I allways turn of the notifications but I still get them, the kind of turn themselves back on after a while and I get both notifications by push AND by email.
I was at a restaurant and the bust guy and girl remove my phone from the table.the phone was immediately powered off. my location was not turned. How to remotely locate my phone. I've tried to locate my galaxy s5 via the device manager unsuccessfully. I've also called Samsung, sprint, and Google. I have also filed a police report.my phone has confidential and proprietary information for my place of employment.
I have a "Task Killer app" and it shows the camera app keeps turning on, even after I use the "force stop". It doesn't even show the disable function. (I want it off if I am not using it)
Within the past couple of weeks I started noticing that the phone was having trouble charging. As the problem got worse it would intermittently vibrate and flash and stop charging, but then resume normal charging. The problem got so bad I was unable to get it to take a charge at all and the battery ran out completely. So I took it to the Verizon store. The guy plugged it in using his charger and it immediately started charging. Problem solved. I needed a new charger. Not so fast. Once I got it home and started using it again the problem returned. Today in frustration I turned the phone off. After a few minutes I plugged it in and it immediately started charging, and in less than an hour was at 100%. So I turned it back on and started making calls. After a while I plugged it in to see if it would charge and I get the same issue.
