HTC Desire :: Part Of Screen Turned Pink (Looks Like Semi Circle)
Feb 22, 2011Part of the screen on my HTC Desire has turned pink. It is in the top right hand corner of the screen and looks like a semi-cicle (shown in the image). Has anyone else had this issue or know what is wrong? I am not sure whether I have an AMOLED or SLCD version of the phone screen.

I cannot get anything to appear on the screen except the numbers 10.12 are lit in the right corner of the screen. This is a brand new phone and I am freaking out because it is my only phone. Apr 10, 2012I purchased Lumia 800 on 23 March 2012. Now from today morning, the top left corner of L800's screen has turned pink(around quarter of screen). This is not the NOKIA that I grew up with. Nov 8, 2012I have just bought a Lumia 920 today, and now have the problems described in the thread subject... Every few minutes while idle, the phone will power down and immediately power up again. This does render the phone useless to me.. When trying to shut it down to remove the SIM card I noticed I cannot even shut it off. It would instantly turn itself back on again.
Did anyone else notice this kind of behaviour from their Lumia 920 (or maybe other phones as well)? I was really looking forward to this device and this really ruins it for me

Jun 21, 2012my phone has been working for the past year fine, today i was walking and recieved a message, i slid the phone up to type my password in and the screen went multicoloured and froze, i then took the battery out and waited 15 - 20 seconds before re-inserting the batter and left it to power up, once it powered up i slid it up again and the screen is still not right, i have done a 'master reset' to see if anything changes and it is still the same..

Mar 1, 2012I have already turned off the brightness auto adjustment, however I still notice the screen brightness change slightly when there is movement on screen, for example when you use finger touch and move on the screen. ( very noticeable when background is white).I tried to live with it however find it very annoying when you play on a white background game. Like the free game Penguin ( which is similar to Tiny Wing on iOS).

May 15, 2015just got my nexus 6 today and I've noticed that when lowering my brightness really low the screen starts becoming pink. Is there a fix to this. Some say it is a feature but I've never really seen this on other phones and personally the pink hue is bothering me quite a bit.

In the previous software there is an option in the settings menu for turning off the homescreen and I can put a shortcut of it in the Go To menu so I can disable it whenever I feel like just seeing my wallpaper.

Upon taking it out of my bag that morning (where there were no liquids), I was horrified to discover that the entire left and middle part of the screen was white, with a gradual faded clearing toward the right.
