View 8 Replies View RelatedThe volume used to be fine on my Samsung S6 but in the last couple of months it has gone quiet - even Speaker is too quiet if there is any surrounding noise at all. This was not a problem when I first purchased it about 6 months ago. Now, I just cannot hear what callers are saying unless there is absolute quiet where I am. My hearing is fine!

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Z2 phone have started to turn on volume for notification and ringing volume by itself. I have gone through the settings and set all sounds to off, but after an hour or so, it is back to normal volume. Have had this problem for a week now. Have restarted the phone several times. Cleared all open apps. Nothing works.
View 7 Replies View RelatedGot a 4s. All of a sudden the podcasts I listen to are really quiet same with the music. I have to have it at 70 percent to hear anything in my headphones. Buddy has same podcast and it's so loud I can hear it outside his earbuds. Same headphones. I never noticed this before. I basically have to jam my earbuds super far into my ear canal to even hear anything. Sound check and limit are off.

I have a 16GB iPhone 4S which is only 11 months old (less than one year) and running iOS 7.1.1. Sometimes the sound gets quiet, especially if i lower the volume in Instagram...
This problem never happened when I was running iOS 6, but it started when I upgraded to iOS 7.0, making the upgrade to iOS 7 something I regret.
iPhone 4S 16GB, iOS 6.0 original, iOS 7.1.1, purchased unlocked from Apple
I have a new Droid Turbo. Among the ringtone selections, the loudest I can find isn't sufficient for me to hear. Volume is at max. Where can I go to make it even louder? Is there an app I can download with louder ringtones.

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy Lumia 950 has started making a little hiss and 'pop' noise every six seconds when I'm not using it. I first noticed it last night, because the phone was on a bedside table in a quiet room. Rebooting the phone fixed it at the time, but today I noticed that it was making the noise again. Every six seconds it sounds as if I had gently tapped the plastic body of the Lumia with a fingernail. It's clearly audible in a quiet room when the phone is in my pocket. If I raise the Lumia 950 and put the rear speaker to my ear, I hear about a second of white-noise static followed by a "pop" noise. Hiss-pop. When the phone is unlocked and in use, the speaker makes a contiuous low static hiss. It only hiss-pops when the screen is in standby. Volume levels and disabling glance seem to have no effect. Putting it into airplane mode also has no impact, so I guess it's not likely to be interference from the radios?
If you'd like to hear it, download and extract the attached zip, or download a .wav recording from my OneDrive account, linked below. You may need to put on headphones or turn your volume up, but it should be clearly audible at normal listening levels. You'll hear the noise at 00:01 and 00:07 (the one second and seven second marks). URL>...I love my Lumia 950. But this hiss-pop issue has the potential to dampen my enjoyment a bit if I keep having to reboot the phone to fix this.
I have had a white Z5 Compact for a week and have now noticed that the bottom speaker is much louder than the top, ruining the stereo effect. I am sure it did not come this way out of the box. I didn't notice until after the recent firmware update (32.0.A.6.152), but cannot know whether this is the cause of the problem. I went through the hassle of factory reset and the phone still has the problem. I haven't subjected the phone to any physical trauma at all and will be returning it.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have been having a serious issue with my Lumia 1020 there is no audio from the phone what so ever. I cant hear people when they ring and they cant hear me. The phone does not let me play music on it or play videos unless I go onto the internet and look at a youtube video but there is still no sound from it. Another issue is that when I go onto the camera app and select to take a video the phone closes its self out of the app. It does this same thing in other apps were I try to play any type of audio. There is no volume control because when the buttons are pressed a small gray strip across the top of the screen appears and goes away after a couple of seconds. Mechanically the buttons work as a have performed multiple master resets on the phone which involves using the volume down button.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have ringer volume on 25. I work on AC's so it can be a little loud.Prob is that when I open up the phone function and start dialing a number, the keypad volume is at, like, the speakerphone volumeAnd ridiculously loud. Is this a glitch or normal? My keyboard button tap sounds are fine as far as volume, but the phone number key tone is just obnoxiously loud.
View 6 Replies View Relatedjust picked up a Curve 8520 after using a Storm for a year and a half. The only problem is that the volume during a conversation is just too quiet. The volume is at 100% and I've tried the enhanced bass and treble but its still useless.

I am on my 3rd curve. The problem is that they warranty them out for 1 year from the first date of purchase and now mine is out of warranty Alltel says (this one is 2 months old). My problem is that my ringer volume is almost non existent. I've turned the volume up in the profiles and everything and still nothing. media is too quiet also. I've found that the only way is to use headphones and plug it in the jack. Is my speaker shot?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just bought a Lumia 920 today, and now have the problems described in the thread subject... Every few minutes while idle, the phone will power down and immediately power up again. This does render the phone useless to me.. When trying to shut it down to remove the SIM card I noticed I cannot even shut it off. It would instantly turn itself back on again.
Did anyone else notice this kind of behaviour from their Lumia 920 (or maybe other phones as well)? I was really looking forward to this device and this really ruins it for me
I have already turned off the brightness auto adjustment, however I still notice the screen brightness change slightly when there is movement on screen, for example when you use finger touch and move on the screen. ( very noticeable when background is white).I tried to live with it however find it very annoying when you play on a white background game. Like the free game Penguin ( which is similar to Tiny Wing on iOS).

View 5 Replies View RelatedNow I really got to ask:Since the implementation of the "make our customers deaf"-volume bug in 12070 I was convinced that Nokia would almost straight away release a update addressing this. However: I Haven't seen any information that this is on the way soon. What's up? Where's the Volume bug fix? Anyone knowing anything about this.
If this is first in the "Tethering" release "Soon" (in Nokia terms "whenever") I would like to clarify that Tethering is important, but Volume bug fix is Critical!!
I bought my Phone with working Volume, without Tethering. Now I have a Phone with broken Volume, without Tethering..
I have a Lumia 900 with Rogers (Canada), post update. I can't seem to hear well when earphones/earbuds are connected, even with the volume at 30/30 (I can hear a bit at 30/30 when there is no ambient noise, but can barely hear anything when I try to use the device at the gym). The spearkers are nice and loud when no earphones are connected. I've tried with 3 different earphones (including the ones that came with the phone) that all have the same problem. I didn't have this problem with my previous Samsung Focus.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a Nokia Lumia 920 three weeks and I am not disappointed. So far, other than problems that will be corrected in the next update, I am experiencing a low volume, when talking with someone in the loud speaker. Even at 30/30, I have to become closer to the phone to ear what the other person is saying. The problem seems to be related to the calls in the using the loudspeaker only because when listening to music or videos the loudspeaker volume seems to be ok.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is a problem I've had since windows phone 7.5 on my Samsung Focus. I thought it might be isolated to that phone but I have since had the same issue with windows phone 8 on a Nokia Lumia 920.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen listening to the Music app on my 1520 (16 GB ATT) and using my headphones, sometimes the volume will randomly get louder then quieter in a rhythmic motion.
It does not go from 0 to 30, its more like 5 up, then 5 down. The actual numbers of the volume stay the same, but I can definitely tell there is an increase and decrease. I've encountered this a few times from different artists (so it is not a style of the artist). Also, it seems to happen whenever the headphones are accidentally pulled out mid-song. After the song is over, the next song seems to be fine. Is there a work around other than waiting for the next song?
