I bought a Nokia Lumia 920 three weeks and I am not disappointed. So far, other than problems that will be corrected in the next update, I am experiencing a low volume, when talking with someone in the loud speaker. Even at 30/30, I have to become closer to the phone to ear what the other person is saying. The problem seems to be related to the calls in the using the loudspeaker only because when listening to music or videos the loudspeaker volume seems to be ok.
When I am outside and I receive a call I can barely hear the person!! I've pushed the volume button up to 10 during a call but I still can barely hear a thing! I've had to resort to selecting loudspeaker to be able to hear anything. Obviosuly this isn't ideal!
Just got a Lumia 950 about 4-5 days ago. I've updated to the latest version and have already loaded it up with music from my MicroSD.
I've noticed that when I play music at full blast (30/30 volume), the volume seems to drop a little, and then slowly picks back up. This repeats about 3-4 times per song. I tend to listen to music in the shower, and I have realized the drop in volume for two days now.
Experienced putting music aloud and noticing the drop in volume from the speaker, even though it is set to 30/30. Voltage issue maybe?
Noticed the speaker volume for ringtones and music and such is much quieter than the Lumia 928? On volume 25 or so it sounds as loud as my 928 at like 16 or 17...
I have problems with speakers and headset. Even at highest level it's sometimes hard to hear. For example GPS indications in the car. But also with Headset, if people are talking nearby I can't even hear the music! Is there some kind of security switch?
I have had a white Z5 Compact for a week and have now noticed that the bottom speaker is much louder than the top, ruining the stereo effect. I am sure it did not come this way out of the box. I didn't notice until after the recent firmware update (32.0.A.6.152), but cannot know whether this is the cause of the problem. I went through the hassle of factory reset and the phone still has the problem. I haven't subjected the phone to any physical trauma at all and will be returning it.
Can the speaker volume on my nokia 1661 be turned up? And if so, how? It is so quiet that to hear someone that I am on the phone with I have to turn on speakerphone or be in a completely silent room and press the phone really strongly against my ear. This is very annoying, does anyone else have that problem?
I bought a Nokia E7 yesterday. My previous phone for E61i. I see that the speaker volume is too low in E7. I have set the volume to max using the volume control but still the volume is too low compared to E61i. I find it difficult to do calls with loud speaker on. I do lot of conf calls and this is very important for me.
I did few video recordings and found that the sound output is sort of metallic.
I have Nokia 6700 and these buttons on the right side on my mobile not workin. Is anybody know how to increase speaking volume when somebody is callin to me?
I have bought a nokia lumia 610.But suddenly when i try to call any where & all of my in coming call my screen is going to dark & can't see any function or cut the line/can't talk with speaker & others.
I recently realized my Nokia lumia 900 can no longer ring, play music, or make any sound what so ever. I tried playing with some head phones and pulling them in and out pausing and unpausing while music was playing which I read in a forum can fix this problem.no luck..i realized there was a small piece of paper/lint in the headphone jack and pulled it out with a toothpick.this is driving me crazy.. Next thing I will try is doing a factory reset...anyone have any ideas or experience with this ?
Trying to call using my Lumia 800 today and I can't hear or be heard by anyone I call. Loudspeaker works, and so do my headphones. But my mic doesnt work at all. It's pretty much brand new (my dad used it for a few days but didnt like the QWERTY keyboard for texting) and i remember getting a phone call a day or two ago and it was fine.Anyone have any tips or tricks i can try before i send it off for a repair?I'll be phoneless until its fixed because non of my spare phones take micro sims.. and my past experience with sending phones for repairs involved long waits to get them back..
Ok so my phone is **bleep**ing up. It happened earlier when I noticed that I got a call and I could not hear anything or speak. However when I turned the speaker phone I could hear everything but Im not sure if the other person could hear me because the call ended. Now no sound comes out of my phone speaker. EXCPET FOR THE TEXT NOTIFICATION. That still goes off and sounds perfectly. So the speakers cant be broken. Also I used the voice commands and it said it could not hear anything.
I have 920 and JBL PowerUp Wireless Charging Speaker for Nokia. When I play music with Bluetooth, I can hear periodic static and pop sounds. However, when I connect the phone directly with the speaker with wire, those static sound goes away.
Now I really got to ask:Since the implementation of the "make our customers deaf"-volume bug in 12070 I was convinced that Nokia would almost straight away release a update addressing this. However: I Haven't seen any information that this is on the way soon. What's up? Where's the Volume bug fix? Anyone knowing anything about this.
If this is first in the "Tethering" release "Soon" (in Nokia terms "whenever") I would like to clarify that Tethering is important, but Volume bug fix is Critical!! I bought my Phone with working Volume, without Tethering. Now I have a Phone with broken Volume, without Tethering..
Just noticed that the speaker volume on my 3GS is a fair bit lower than it should be. My daugher's 3GS is much louder. Actually hard to hear the ringer when outside. Volume is set to full. Could it be dirt in the speaker grill? Headphone volume is fine.
I have a Lumia 900 with Rogers (Canada), post update. I can't seem to hear well when earphones/earbuds are connected, even with the volume at 30/30 (I can hear a bit at 30/30 when there is no ambient noise, but can barely hear anything when I try to use the device at the gym). The spearkers are nice and loud when no earphones are connected. I've tried with 3 different earphones (including the ones that came with the phone) that all have the same problem. I didn't have this problem with my previous Samsung Focus.
This is a problem I've had since windows phone 7.5 on my Samsung Focus. I thought it might be isolated to that phone but I have since had the same issue with windows phone 8 on a Nokia Lumia 920.
Seems like History is repeating itself. When Nokia launched Lumia 800, we all complained about "Disastrous Audio Quality"... Nokia stepped up and released some fixes which enabled the audio drivers/bass issue.
Now Nokia has finally released the much anticipated WP 7.8 update. Got it installed and to my surprise, the audio volume via "Nokia Monster purity headset" is too low. It feels that I am playing the song @ volume "15", although the volume is set to "30"
Nokia, have a second look at your firmware and release a patch to pump up the music volume. Not everyone wants to listen music at "Super Low Volume"..
i have a lumia 820 that i purchased 2 days ago. today, i opened the case to see where the microsd card would go and then put the back piece back on the phone.tonight, i wanted to watch a Internet video and when i pushed up on the volume button, it wouldn't go up, only down. the usual click was gone too. i opened the case to see if something got stuck and the little copper thingee is missing for the volume up button. i can a little bit of it sticking out from where it used to be?
I just bought my E72 a day ago and tried to listen to one of the default videos. Had the volume level on max, even then the sound/music is not /barely audible. Moreover the Talking display also is not actually loud enough to be able to hear from a hands distance.
I have the xperia ray, and I have it with android 4.0.4, and my problem is that when I put music in the speaker with maximum volume, the sound is excellent, but when a I make a call and I put the speaker at maximum level, the audio has poor volume
My speaker seems very quiet compared to my wife's phone which is exactly the same. Iv done the YouTube tutorials but no luck there. Other than swapping it with her in doors, is there something I'm missing.
My wife and I have new 3gs iphones with AT&T and I've noticed over the past 2-3 days my speaker volume has decreased to a point it's very noticeable compared to hers. I've made sure all volume levels are set to max on both phones, called a recorded msg and we both can hear a big difference between the two phones whether on speaker on not. In fact it's getting hard for me to hear someone unless I have volume set to max where 3 days ago and back I had volume set to ~ 75% of max. I've read about cleaning speaker covers, etc. but not sure if I should do this. My iphone is appx. 6 weeks old and hers in less than 4 weeks. Not sure if there is some setting I may have 'messed' with or not.
I purchased this application and after installing it I found out that the voice of the speaker is very low. The speaker is with British Accent. The data of Saudi Arabia is outdated. I need to have a higher volume of the speaker American male and female speaker.Latest update of data for Middle East.
