I have problems with speakers and headset. Even at highest level it's sometimes hard to hear. For example GPS indications in the car. But also with Headset, if people are talking nearby I can't even hear the music! Is there some kind of security switch?
I ve purchased a Nokia 5235 five months ago. The sales pack comes with WH-701 headset. The headset has performed much upto my satisfaction for many days until one day when it suddenly started giving very low volume. The bass and treble is still the same but the volume. I have checked every setting in the phone but in vain.
I've been having problems with my Lumia 800's headset (the official one supplied with the phone). First of all the microphone stopped working then, whilst listening to audio, the volume turned itself down to zero, without any action on my part. If I unplug the headset I can turn the volume back up, but as soon as I plug the headset back in in turns itself down again.
N8 does not support changing a Bluetooth headset's volume via the phone's hardware controls and software buttons: There's no changes in volume until you reach the mute position. All volume control has to be done via the headset's hardware controls. Quite nagging if you e.g. like to decrease the volume of navigation instructions while driving with your headset on: Navigation voice hammers to your ears.
I bought a Nokia Lumia 920 three weeks and I am not disappointed. So far, other than problems that will be corrected in the next update, I am experiencing a low volume, when talking with someone in the loud speaker. Even at 30/30, I have to become closer to the phone to ear what the other person is saying. The problem seems to be related to the calls in the using the loudspeaker only because when listening to music or videos the loudspeaker volume seems to be ok.
I have had a white Z5 Compact for a week and have now noticed that the bottom speaker is much louder than the top, ruining the stereo effect. I am sure it did not come this way out of the box. I didn't notice until after the recent firmware update (32.0.A.6.152), but cannot know whether this is the cause of the problem. I went through the hassle of factory reset and the phone still has the problem. I haven't subjected the phone to any physical trauma at all and will be returning it.
Can the speaker volume on my nokia 1661 be turned up? And if so, how? It is so quiet that to hear someone that I am on the phone with I have to turn on speakerphone or be in a completely silent room and press the phone really strongly against my ear. This is very annoying, does anyone else have that problem?
When I am outside and I receive a call I can barely hear the person!! I've pushed the volume button up to 10 during a call but I still can barely hear a thing! I've had to resort to selecting loudspeaker to be able to hear anything. Obviosuly this isn't ideal!
Having been able to control my music via the supplied headset of my Music Express 5800 it has now stopped working. I can still hear perfectly well via it, but the volume control, stop, start of skip functions have now stopped. I'm not too sure the ability to answer the phone from it exists either. Can anyone tell me if this is due to the headset itself or if there's an option in the 5800 that I need to look at? If it's the latter I won't need to make a trip to the store.
I bought a Nokia E7 yesterday. My previous phone for E61i. I see that the speaker volume is too low in E7. I have set the volume to max using the volume control but still the volume is too low compared to E61i. I find it difficult to do calls with loud speaker on. I do lot of conf calls and this is very important for me.
I did few video recordings and found that the sound output is sort of metallic.
I have Nokia 6700 and these buttons on the right side on my mobile not workin. Is anybody know how to increase speaking volume when somebody is callin to me?
I have currently installed GB (generic) on my X10 which is rooted and have xRecovery installed. Last weekend I installed the "Stutter Fix" and it solved a few problems I had and I love it! The problem now though is that when the phone rings or a notification comes (SMS, email etc), if I have the headset plugged in, no sound comes out of the phone's speaker. It only comes out of the headset and that wasnt the case before. When the headset is not pluged in the speaker works fine, so there is no harware issue or anything like that. I have the headset pluged in 90% of the time so I really need this feature. I looked at the settings and such but I didnt find anything that could change that and put it back as it was. I dont want to flash a new ROM again.
I know this may sound silly, but how do I turn on the screen when talking through the headset or using speakers. It's just the screen goes black after a few seconds after turning on the speakers or plugging in the headset, then I'd like to use the phone, but I just cannot turn it on. Only way it to use the power button, but that disconnects the call.
i've been using my iphone 4s for 3 months now and i don't have any problem in these 3 months. now the headset speaker is very low, whenever i spoke to somebody i turned on the loudspeaker, sound is there but it's too low, this happens after upgrading to a new software IOS 5.1.!
I have had my Storm 2 for 5 months and it has performed flawlessly. Yesterday I plugged in the earbuds that came with the device for the very first time. Immediately after removing them the device began switching between headset and speaker mode. If playing music, it switches to headset mode for just a second or two then back to speaker and the music is paused. It does exactly what happens when you actually plug the headset in and then remove it; the headset icon and volume meter appear for a moment along with the system beep, then it returns to speaker with the music paused. I have wiped the device, blown compressed air into the headphone jack, removed the headset while music was playing, and repeatedly plugged the headset jack in and out with no resolution. The Verizon Wireless Knowledge Base has no information on this problem.
I have a 9700 Bold with ATT and the OS is v5.0.0.405. Alright so a couple of weeks ago my blackberry has started developing an annoying problem. When in a call, most of the time (not all) it starts switching between the headset icon and the normal speaker. When this happens, you can hear the phone switch between the two through the speaker, and it makes it so i cant hear anyone and they cant hear me. I'm out of my 30 day warranty from ATT but i think im still well within the RIM warranty. I have admittidly dropped it, but this still shouldnt be happening. Nothing like this has happened to any other phone I have owned. Is there anything i can do to get some sort of replacement?
When I have my headphones plugged in, the music plays both in them and still comes out from the phone. This also happens with conversations... When my headphones are plugged in, the sound from the other person speaking comes out loudly from the phone, so everyone can hear it! This does not happen when the headphones are not connected. Then the sound just comes from the phone, and conversations are more quiet.
I have tried different headsets, earplugs and speakers, the problem is the same with all of them. I have tried looking at the settings, both on my phone and other applications. I have also googled it, and I have tried to restart my phone. And I have checked if they really are inserted correctly. What I can do? I just want to hear my music in piece and keep my conversations for myself.
I also checked this link: [URL] .... but it did not solve my problem ...
I was able to update my 16GB 3GS to iOS4 without a hitch, that is until I paired it up with my Contour Design SurfaceSound Compact Bluetooth handsfree car kit. Upon syncing the device would confirm pairing to the phone by announcing "handset connected". However, after updating to iOS4 the device would continually announce "handset connected" every minute or so (quite annoying). I've tried unpairing it to my iPhone and then repairing it but the problem continued.
However, I did find a workaround to this problem. I noticed that if I left my iPhone on the Bluetooth screen (within the Settings), the pairing takes place but it doesn't force my car kit from announcing "handset connected" every minute. Aside from not being able to switch to another screen or application, pressing the power button (turn off the display) will bring this "bug" back.
At least the iPod functions still work and I can take incoming phone calls...hopefully Apple fixes this annoyance soon.
I have a curve 8520, it is nearly two years old, I went to make a call and the speaker keeps flicking to headset and back, I have never connected a headset so it cannot be the settings, has anyone else had this problem if so what was the remedy to put it right.
Since I performed the last software update a couple of days ago I can only hear calls through the speaker or through the plugged in headset. I've tried resetting but the problem persists.
Since the update my when I connect to my BT Voyager Pro+ the phone still rings through the speaker. Is there a setting for the phone to mute the speaker when it's connected to the headset?
If one were to listen to FM radio on one's Bionic (assuming this is legal. If it is against the rules, then note I would surely never do that!)....how do you plug in your earphones (needed as antenna) AND listen on the regular Bionic speakers? Is there a setting for this, or is it impossible to do?
I am using an iPhone 6 Plus (magnificent device) and a Sony MDR-10RBT headset (another killer). But when an incoming call comes, why does not the phone ring? i can hear only from the bluetooth headset speaker. When I was using this very headset with my earlier phone the iPhone 4S, I could hear the incoming call on both the phone ringer and the headset.
You have pressed the app key on your device. Enable the app key on the accessory to open an application when pressed.
This happens when the earphones are plugged in. Somtimes it shows me that I'm ll decreasing or increasing the volume while I'm not. The volume buttons aren't stuck or anything...
I just bought an E55, my first impressions are excellent, except for one thing: the volume of the music player when using the provided headset is too low! Also trying other headsets didn't help much. When setting the maximum volume, it can be ok for a quiet environment such as home, but it's still useless on the road, in the underground, and in other noisy environments where the ambient noise covers the music. The same files play much louder when using the same headset on my old Nokia 5300.I also tried playing around with the equalizer but it didn't help. Is there any way to work around this? Some hidden settings? Some other music player I can install? Some better headset?
A few days ago, I connected my X6 to my car radio system, which went along with some cracking. Since then the volume of any voice played via headset or earphone is too low while music continues to play at regular volume. Putting my phone back to factory settings didn't help. Do I have to go for a hard reset?
i recently updated my neo l to 4.1.b.0.626 and started getting this volume issue with headset. it is stuck at around 60%. increasing the volume using the settings menu briefly pops up a warning that says something similar to "high volume can damage ears" and vanishes before any action can be taken. using the volume rocker in application such as Internet causes the playback to stop. the volume itself is way too low to be practical even for someone with good hearing. no such issues without the headset. i am using the sony supplied headset. i have tried a factory reset and didn't work.
My phone call volume is fine but media playback volume is WAY too loud! Even with the phone volume and headset volume at the lowest it's too loud. This has only been a problem since the Gingerbread update. I tried the H17 on another phone and it works fine. Definitely a post Gingerbread issue.Anyone else have issues with this model headset or any other since the update?
