View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia 6350, which has a 2.5'' headset outlet on the side. I tried to find out which headsets are compatible with this model, but the Nokia website only lists Bluetooth ones. But of course this model support wired headsets too, otherwise it would not have an headset outlet in the first place? recommend me an headset which is compatible with my phone? I bought a Nokia HS-47 one, but I can only get sound on one side, and I would like to avoid wasting money in other products which are not compatible...
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to know if a particular wired headset (Sony Ericsson or not) with media controls (single or multiple buttons) will work (or not) with my Xperia Ray ? (before buying and trying it, I mean !) Ideally, I'm looking for a wired headset adapter with media controls (play/pause, previous/next track, volume... but I suppose a single button could be enough thanks to such android apps), and if possible with a microphone, that allows me to plug and use any headphones.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI"m looking for the settings for the wired headset. There was a screen that allowed you to set sound effects and I believe equalizer settings. Was this screen eliminated? I can't seem to find it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I am using a wired headset with my phone the microphone on the phone remains on and it becomes very noisy; therefore making the use of a wired headset almost impossible. I know I may be able to avoid this by using a blue tooth; however, I need to use a wired headset and not a blue tooth in many situations..!

View 2 Replies View Relatedthe torch clearly can detect when a connection is made to the audio jack - e.g., removing a headphone pauses the media player, and plugging one in pops up a headphone icon and changes the audio level.but I cannot figure out a way to create a profile (with custom alerts, vibration settings, etc) that takes advantage of this info. anyone know how to trigger a profile upon plugging the headset in.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have found it almost impossible to get a wired headset to work on my bionic when in my car (which has built in bluetooth, and which is bonded to the phone just fine). The only way I can make the wired headset take precedence over the bluetooth, and/or the phone's speaker phone, is to:
1. Make a call in the car (any mode).
2. Plug in headset.
3. Click on the phone's speaker icon (headset works for 1/2 second before sound reverts to bionic's speakerphone).
4. Unplug and plug the headset into the bionic, often 2 or 3 times.
Obviously this sucks and would cause a terrible accident if one were driving and doing all these procedures. I have read every documentation on the phone to no avail. I have called Motorola twice, to no avail (and was hung up on by the tech), and called Verizon tech, who also hung up on me.
I have problems with speakers and headset. Even at highest level it's sometimes hard to hear. For example GPS indications in the car. But also with Headset, if people are talking nearby I can't even hear the music! Is there some kind of security switch?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI ve purchased a Nokia 5235 five months ago. The sales pack comes with WH-701 headset. The headset has performed much upto my satisfaction for many days until one day when it suddenly started giving very low volume. The bass and treble is still the same but the volume. I have checked every setting in the phone but in vain.

This happens when the earphones are plugged in. Somtimes it shows me that I'm ll decreasing or increasing the volume while I'm not. The volume buttons aren't stuck or anything...
I'm having an issue with my new bold. I cannot pair it with any bluetooth headset, specifically it doesn't detect any bluetooth headset (I've tried with 3 different models). I'm sure Bluetooth is working 'cause I can connect the device to my PC. I've already tried everything, I've set in pairing mode both the headsets and the device but still nothing. I've tried "listen" mode and "search" mode yet nothing work.
This might seem like a minor issue for someone, but I'm often driving while speaking on the phone, can't do without this option.
I just bought an E55, my first impressions are excellent, except for one thing: the volume of the music player when using the provided headset is too low! Also trying other headsets didn't help much. When setting the maximum volume, it can be ok for a quiet environment such as home, but it's still useless on the road, in the underground, and in other noisy environments where the ambient noise covers the music. The same files play much louder when using the same headset on my old Nokia 5300.I also tried playing around with the equalizer but it didn't help. Is there any way to work around this? Some hidden settings? Some other music player I can install? Some better headset?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been having problems with my Lumia 800's headset (the official one supplied with the phone). First of all the microphone stopped working then, whilst listening to audio, the volume turned itself down to zero, without any action on my part. If I unplug the headset I can turn the volume back up, but as soon as I plug the headset back in in turns itself down again.

Since then the volume of any voice played via headset or earphone is too low while music continues to play at regular volume. Putting my phone back to factory settings didn't help. Do I have to go for a hard reset?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi recently updated my neo l to 4.1.b.0.626 and started getting this volume issue with headset. it is stuck at around 60%. increasing the volume using the settings menu briefly pops up a warning that says something similar to "high volume can damage ears" and vanishes before any action can be taken. using the volume rocker in application such as Internet causes the playback to stop. the volume itself is way too low to be practical even for someone with good hearing. no such issues without the headset. i am using the sony supplied headset. i have tried a factory reset and didn't work.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy phone call volume is fine but media playback volume is WAY too loud! Even with the phone volume and headset volume at the lowest it's too loud. This has only been a problem since the Gingerbread update. I tried the H17 on another phone and it works fine. Definitely a post Gingerbread issue.Anyone else have issues with this model headset or any other since the update?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use a corded headset with my blackberry, I have owned a bold 9000 and a Torch and just upgraded to the Bold 9900. I have two headsets, one in my vehicle and one in my office. They both work fine and work with other blackberry's and devices. The problem is when the headset is connected to the blackberry the software does not select this device as the default device for answering or placing calls. This is a real flaw in the programming and is a complete nuance. Every time I place or receive a call I must select the headset manually on the touch screen. All the other blackberry's make the transition automatically. Meaning they all send the call to the headset without any intervention from me. I do not understand how this feature could have been left out if all the previous blackberry's worked just fine.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy HS-700 will not pair with my new Samsung Galaxy SCH-S720C. This same headset always paired with the phone (Pantech Breeze model C520) I just replaced. This Samsung smart phone is running Android version 2.3.6
This new Samsung phone has successfully paired or seen in a scan:my old Pantech phone (above)a neighbor's DVD player a generic BlueTooth "dongle" I have plugged into my desktop PCASUS Transformer - TF101tablet running Android 4In trying to establish the pair/scan with the Samsung, I "unpaired" the HS-700 from the old Pantech phone.
I have a HS-300 headset, the earloop broke after 1 month of very light use. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I have sent an email to Blackberry support and as of yet have not received a reply. Judging from the other comments here, I will soon be told it is unavailable.
So having said that, is there something compatible out there to be had, and if there is would someone please share.
N8 does not support changing a Bluetooth headset's volume via the phone's hardware controls and software buttons: There's no changes in volume until you reach the mute position. All volume control has to be done via the headset's hardware controls. Quite nagging if you e.g. like to decrease the volume of navigation instructions while driving with your headset on: Navigation voice hammers to your ears.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Naite yesterday. Used it as usual, drained the battery first, then charged it up till it's 100 percent complete. I went to school. During the trip, I plugged in the bundled headset HPM-60 and played some music. I noticed then, compared to other phones, that the volume level of the music I'm hearing from the headset is a little soft considering I'm, at that time, playing the music at it's maximum volume. I tried changing the equalizers of the phone but still, there is no great change to the volume I'm hearing.
I played the same music on Nokia 7210 Supernova and Motorola W231, with same bitrates, sampling frequencies, and file size, and found out that the Naite's sound is really softer compared to the other two. I even tried to fiddle with the settings (stereo widening, equalizers) but still, the Naite ended up with the softest sound. Is there anyway I can increase the volume of my Naite?
I just got the Razr HD on Thursday when it became available and I love it so far. I connected my Sony Bluetooth stereo headset (url...). So, not the typical one ear peice just for answering calls. I got them because I listen to music on phone while at the gym and the wire from my old headset kept getting in the way. So, these worked great with the Droid X, never had a problem. I connected them to my Razr HD and the volume instantly goes the the max and cannot be turn down. I use the volume rocker and the volume stays at the max volume until I turn the volume all the way down at which point there is no sound. I can't find a bluetooth volume slider in the sound volume settings and the "Music, Video, Games, & other media" volume control isn't doing anything to adjust the volume for my headset. The headset does not have a volume control of its own and right now I can't use it becuase it is way too loud. I know there ways to be able to adjust the volume for each device independently on custom roms and rooted devices why can't these simple things be added to "stock" roms? Anyone know how to get the volumes to work without having to go to a custom ROM?
View 9 Replies View RelatedHaving been able to control my music via the supplied headset of my Music Express 5800 it has now stopped working. I can still hear perfectly well via it, but the volume control, stop, start of skip functions have now stopped. I'm not too sure the ability to answer the phone from it exists either. Can anyone tell me if this is due to the headset itself or if there's an option in the 5800 that I need to look at? If it's the latter I won't need to make a trip to the store.

My phone went out of battery and when I charged it again it asked me this question. Now I'm at my last attempt and I'm 100% sure that I gave the correct password the last 9 times.. I even logged in to BB Id site with that password. But if I screw it up this time everything will be deleted from my phone.
