why my new headset bought from blackberry single headset with mic when calling i cant hear any sound. But when i used the 2 headset L & R default there is sound coming. i check the headset with other balckberry there is no problem. do you think it OS problem my OS cannot update to 7.1 BB9900 7.0 Bundle 2395 (v7.0.0.579) Platform 5.0.0.735) is there any problem with this OS?
View 1 RepliesI'm having an issue with my new bold. I cannot pair it with any bluetooth headset, specifically it doesn't detect any bluetooth headset (I've tried with 3 different models). I'm sure Bluetooth is working 'cause I can connect the device to my PC. I've already tried everything, I've set in pairing mode both the headsets and the device but still nothing. I've tried "listen" mode and "search" mode yet nothing work.
This might seem like a minor issue for someone, but I'm often driving while speaking on the phone, can't do without this option.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI use a corded headset with my blackberry, I have owned a bold 9000 and a Torch and just upgraded to the Bold 9900. I have two headsets, one in my vehicle and one in my office. They both work fine and work with other blackberry's and devices.The problem is when the headset is connected to the blackberry the software does not select this device as the default device for answering or placing calls. This is a real flaw in the programming and is a complete nuance. Every time I place or receive a call I must select the headset manually on the touch screen.All the other blackberry's make the transition automatically. Meaning they all send the call to the headset without any intervention from me. I do not understand how this feature could have been left out if all the previous blackberry's worked just fine.

Whenever I have my headphones plugged in and I get a text notification (or any notification really) the noise plays through my headphones and through my speakers on my N5. Is this intentional and is there any way to stop this? I only want the noise coming through my headphones when they're plugged in.

- When typing msges, it occasionally double enters a single letter when I have only pressed the key once Eg. terriible appears when I try keying in terrible.
- Pressing the menu button once at the initial home page brings me to not just the menu, but also the options at the menu page (ie. a double action with a single press)
- Likewise, the space and delete keys sometimes give me a double space or deletes 2 characters at single depressing of the key
I have tried rebooting numerous times in numerous ways, but this problem still persists.Anyone know of what may be the cause? Also, what actions should I take from here?
I'm just wondering how many text messages my 9780 can hold with one single recipient. I've been scrolling up for some time now and can't seem to find an end. Ahahah, just wondering.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been experiencing a funny problem when charging my N97. I bought my phone in August last year. It had been working fine till now and still is. I really have no complaints when it is concerned to performance and usablity. Initial issues were promptly solved with the firmware updates.
Yesterday night, I found out that I had this problem. When I hooked up my phone with my charger, it did not show any light. I tried to use the charger on another mobile(SAMSUNG) which sports the same USB port as my N97 and it worked ! I also used the samsung charger (though its only 700mA) on my N97 and the charging indicator glowed ! To my surprise, the charger adapter pin that ships with the N97 allowing us to charge the phone with older chargers also allowed me to charge my phone. In short, everything charged my phone(including USB) except the provided charger.
Secondly, of lately the headset has become dogdy. Earlier, even if I ran while having hooked up, the connection was good. Now, even if I move the slightest, the phone looses the connection with the headset and the headset icon disappears. Then I need to plug it out and the plug it in again for about 2-3 times to get the icon to reappear. Now if anyone can explain to me why this is happening and the solution to it, I would be really happy.
the headset icon stays even if i remove the headset. I tried to restart and restore my phone but if i plug in the headset again and removed,the head icon stays again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded ringtones from crackberry a couple hours ago and now my ringers won't work and when I try to play ringtones in the media application it won't let me play them. I tried going through the profiles to make sure they weren't muted or off and nothing is working. I had the exact same problem less than 24 hours ago and the cell phone place just gave me a new phone because they couldn't figure it out either. If I could get some kind of direction as to what I need to do I would appreciate it greatly.
