New 9700 4 days ago. Set ringer tone to Ringer_Classic Phone. When a call comes in my BB rings once and that's it. It does not go to voice mail for approx 30 seconds. I can't find out how to change this so that it will ring 5,?, 6? 7? times to give me the opportunity to hear it. Any ideas on the solution?
View 7 RepliesJust got a Bold 9700 and my previous Bold used to have the option to have all Mail Accounts and SMS in a Single Folder on the BB desktop.Can someone tell me how to do this, the option has gone from within the menu to set all Mail Accounts to combined.I'm sorry if this is a known issue, I did see a post about SMS and MMS but there was no mention of E-Mail.

I have replace the last 4 digits of my cell phone number with ****. I only use the regular VM and want to stop VVM from running in the background on my 9700 and want to delete it!
i dont use this and i hate it, but i can't uncheck it when i upgrade. i want to remove it completely off my 9700, NOT just the icon.

Having the same issues as everyone else for the dropped calls, SMS, etc.I am also having a small issue with the New Message Inditcators.When I get a new email, I can go to the main message folder which shows all the messages. If I view it there, the new message indicator for that folder disappears, but it stays on the other folder (gmail, SMS, etc). Is there a way to get it to clear like on my old Curve? Also, want help with changing the sound for my voicemail notifier. I can't find it anywhere in my sound profiles. Can anyone find it? I want to change it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have the 9700 Bold.I was listing to a visual voice mail when I received a call.After the call the visual voice mail message is locked.I can delete it but when I get a new visual voice mail the old one I deleted re appears along with the new one and both are locked.All of this occurs in the email app.I can go to the visual voice mail app. And it works as it should.I tried deleting all voice mails in both apps. but it dose not solve the problem once a new message is left.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am new to Blackberry and I have some questions about my 9700. I have tried looking to see if this has been posted but I didn’t see anything. I recently installed the .602 OS and did the battery pull and all that hoping it would fix the problem but it hasn’t. The problem is when I miss a phone call and receive a voice mail. I do have the visual voice mail set up and to my knowledge that works fine. The visual voice mail alert popup shows up first and when I go to play the VM, it starts playing and then the missed call alert popup shows up on top of VM. I can either open the missed call to view it or dismiss it. If I open it, I can’t do anything to the VW since it is still going or not going anymore in background and if I dismiss the missed call, I have to go back a view the missed call in the call log to get the icon to go away. Also, once everything is done, my SMS & MMS folder opens up for no reason that I am aware of. Is this normal for everyone’s phone? If not, do I have a setting wrong that I am not aware of? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am a new BB user and have asked several people how to speed dial into my office's automated voice mail system to retrieve messages. Previously on standard cell phones, I would dial the phone number, insert "ppp" for pauses while the auto attendant would prompt the next step. There are 3 series of number to get all the way in. Example would be: 800-555-5555ppp555ppp5555ppp5555 and I would be in to retrieve messages.
I have tried a few different options and have be unsuccessful.My carrier is AT&T.BB is a Bold 9700.Does anyone have any suggestions??
I keep getting voicemails when I am right by the phone. It does not ring it just sends them to voicemail. Why?

Guys having a problem with the Visual Voicemail - I set it up last night and this has never been an issue before withthe previous 9700's. now everytime Im on a call and I get the VM notification It drops the call im on.When I try to view the messages I cant even see it in the Message folder?! guess this is the infamous SMS bug?
View 9 Replies View RelatedJust upgraded from bold 9000 to 9700. I upgraded my OS to version .743. After that, I stopped getting visual voice mail notifications. The message is there when I dial "1", but doesn't show up at all under the VVM menu, nor do I get the visual indication(s). It did work on the AT&T OS out of the box. Second issue with this O.S.- phone does not lock when it is in the holster. I have to believe both these issues are with the .743 version of the OS, but I may be missing something. I've read others with the VVM problem, not none of the threads seem to offer a solution except to say that AT&T WAS having issues with this back in November.

View 15 Replies View RelatedI just got the bold 9700 ver. 2 from ATT and don't have the phone icon. It is not hidden, I looked, and not in any other folder. All I have is a phone icon that is for Visual Voice Mail, which I am not signed up for and don't want to be. When I click the VVM icon it says do you want to sign up and I hit No and it just kicks me back to the main screen. How can I get rid of the Visual VM icon and get the Call log icon?
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy 9000 will not turn on. The red indicator light comes on and stays on for approx 1 minute. The screen then switches to white battery with a red "X" through it. I have tried other batteries that were verified to be good with the same results. I have tried other wall chagers with the same results.
I have repeatedly left the phone on charge for several hours, removed the battery and replaced it after a few moments with the same results.
This issue started after the battery became very depleted after leaving the phone on bedside mode overnight. The phone had been operating without any issues up until this point. It is approx 2 1/2 years old.
All my contacts are on the phone and have not been backed up or saved on the sim card.

Recently, over the last several weeks, my Turbo isn't receiving phone calls. I'll get missed calls and/or voicemails without a single ring. I've checked my ringer settings, looked deeper into notification settings and it still happens. I looked into the Moto assist app too to see if I was in drive mode and haven't noticed a change.

1. how to set up hotmail, yahoo mail, gmail accounts along with official company mails which is already set up. important is to received online mails the i am receiving official mails on company account, means it rings when a mail hits inbox, i want the same for hotmail, yahoo mail and gmail?
2. how to play Internet on it, when i click on any Internet video, it asked, do you want to switch to wap to stream the video, when i say yes, it gives error message, if i am on wi-fi connection, even then it does not play any video, simply gives error message.
I have the iPhone 5c and am on IOS 8.1.1. When I get a voice mail, the voice mail icon no longer lights up. This has been since I updated to the latest version of IOS. I have to turn the phone off. When I turn the phone back on, the voice mail icon lights up. Is there a way to correct this?

Is there any way to set the ring profile to ring only once? Like it does for messaging or email received? In the phone ringtone it just keeps looping whereas I would like it to simply ring once- i get alerted and thats it!

View 1 Replies View RelatedBlackberry Bold 9700 on contract with Virgin, I have now unlocked the phone and put my works Sim (o2) in. When I switch the phone on I recieve 1 possibly 2 calls then all further calls go to voicemail, I dont get any notifications that I have voicemail and don't know unless I call 1 or 901. If I turn the phone off and on again It then repeats the process. It appears to forward all calls to voicemail after a couple of hours. Call Forwarding is set to Conditional and does not change. I have reset to factory settings but it still does it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a refurbished Bold 9700 today. I have it set just as I did with my old one, but it WILL NOT vibrate and ring at the same time. If I have vibrate checked to on and vibration with ringtone checked to on, it vibrates twice and then rings. If I go into custom, it still vibrates BEFORE ringing. The phone is still on AT&T's official .405 OS right now, and I'm doing the update to .593 right now. Maybe that will help? I'm not sure.
