My sms are not coming through, I have had friends send test sms and I am not receiving them, its been like this all day.I've tried battery pulls and there's nothing thatll make it work.
View 9 RepliesAs I was talking on my relatively new Bold 9700 it just completely died! The battery was charged but the screen and everything just went black. It will not power on. I have removed the battery and put it back in and the only response to that it the red LED light coming on for a few minutes then coming off.
View 7 Replies View RelatedHere is my problem: if I receive an sms from someone, any other sms sent to me afterwards will appear as if they were sent from the 1st person. i.e. the contact number or name of the others will not show.thus if I also compose an sms, it will show the contact number of the 1st sms received. I can only send to another contact if I delete that 1st sms received and then compose a new one, after which the newly selected contact will show.

I've tried deleting a whole bunch of applications that i don't use anymore and nothing changed. Can anyone help me get my application memory back up? My phone seems as if it's a bit slower.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
Put my phone to charge at night like normal, woke up the next morning with the red light coming on and off and phone not turning on. Tried to connect to Desktop Software to update software and when it reached reconnecting to JVM the phone does not stay connected to the computer..(Application Loader is unable to connect to your device)

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

I'm having a problem since yesterday that the FB notification has not come out and this never happen to me before. What make me really disappointed is when I press "Notification" in menu, its come out what I'm posting, not the posting that made from my friend. I checked the "Option" menu but nothing changed even I reinstall but the problem is still there, just now I'm using my android to check the notification, I checked also your facebook support page but the solution is no use for me as I set that already.

If device is not locked - the name of a caller appears along with the #.This is very uncomfortable, because I do not remember the # of all the people in my address book, so when there is no name - I don't know who is calling.

This has happened before but after charging my phone it started to work again. I have turned my phone on and off, tried charging it and the button still doesn't work. Although the keypad will lock when I put it into the leather case.Do you think it is a problem with my blackberry and I should return it? View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Bold is stuck on the boot screen (at about 75%). I've tried many battery pulls with and without the SIM and it keeps doing the same thing. I've searched what I think are all the threads on here relating to this, but I'm still stuck. I'm able to connect to the device if I run Loader.exe like a user suggested, but I don't know how/where to get software to load onto the device. All the places I've searched for an OS says I need to go into the device to find information about it. Well, I can't get into the device to do that. So, how do I know what OS to download and install? I really want to exhaust all possibilities before I have to completely wipe the device because I don't have a current backup. But, even if I wipe the device, I'm going to need to download an OS which I can't do now.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased this 9700 (3 weeks ago) and am generally very pleased with the device. BUT If I leave the BB 9700 connected overnight to the computers USB Port for charging, and, obviously, after a few hours the computer will go to sleep, thus turning off the power to the USB port In the morning I find that the BB is: Off and will not turn on, unless it is power reset. In other words I have to open up the back and pull the battery for a second then after It is put back in the red light will display nevertheless it will turn on and be fine once it boots back up. There are no other indications or problems. I notice that other people have similar complaints with their BB's.

I was really looking forward to upgrading to the 9700, but now I don't know. It's LIKE REALLY small.
