I'm often getting this icon and I can't understand why. It causes problems as sometimes (when the icon is displayed) I can't answer my calls. Does anyone know why this happens and how to stop it?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought an E55, my first impressions are excellent, except for one thing: the volume of the music player when using the provided headset is too low! Also trying other headsets didn't help much.When setting the maximum volume, it can be ok for a quiet environment such as home, but it's still useless on the road, in the underground, and in other noisy environments where the ambient noise covers the music.The same files play much louder when using the same headset on my old Nokia 5300.I also tried playing around with the equalizer but it didn't help. Is there any way to work around this? Some hidden settings? Some other music player I can install? Some better headset?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been experiencing a funny problem when charging my N97. I bought my phone in August last year. It had been working fine till now and still is. I really have no complaints when it is concerned to performance and usablity. Initial issues were promptly solved with the firmware updates.
Yesterday night, I found out that I had this problem. When I hooked up my phone with my charger, it did not show any light. I tried to use the charger on another mobile(SAMSUNG) which sports the same USB port as my N97 and it worked ! I also used the samsung charger (though its only 700mA) on my N97 and the charging indicator glowed ! To my surprise, the charger adapter pin that ships with the N97 allowing us to charge the phone with older chargers also allowed me to charge my phone. In short, everything charged my phone(including USB) except the provided charger.
Secondly, of lately the headset has become dogdy. Earlier, even if I ran while having hooked up, the connection was good. Now, even if I move the slightest, the phone looses the connection with the headset and the headset icon disappears. Then I need to plug it out and the plug it in again for about 2-3 times to get the icon to reappear. Now if anyone can explain to me why this is happening and the solution to it, I would be really happy.
Is there any way I can plug my phone into my truck's radio and have it play over the speakers even while my Bluetooth headset is connected to it?

I cannot get any bluetooth headset to stay connected to my phone. I don't have a problem pairing them, just getting them to stay connected long enough to do anything.
I currently have my Nuvi 660 and my motorola H700 headset paired to my phone. Either will connect initially, but then go into a state where they keep disconnecting and reconnecting.
My device is a Blackberry Bold 9650 and is running OS version 6.0 bundle 2333. (I have had this problem since version 4 however.)
I have Bluetooth turned on, and both devices are set to trusted. I do not have both devices running at the same time, so crosstalk is not an issue. Range between the phone ond the device is typically less than 3 or 4 feet with nothing in between them. I've tried about everything I can think of with the options on the devices and the phone and still am having the same issue.

This happens when the earphones are plugged in. Somtimes it shows me that I'm ll decreasing or increasing the volume while I'm not. The volume buttons aren't stuck or anything...
My desire Z is telling me that i have a headset attached but i dont. I have tried the following;
1. I have switched it off and on again.
2. I have cleaned the sockets
At the moment I can only use it if I plug headphones into to listen which is a complete pain.I have lots of text messages, contacts and apps on my phone and I dont want to try a factory reset if I am going to lose them all.
My N8 connects to my bluetooth headset and functions flawlessly usually. But whenever I connect my N8 via bluetooth to my PC it stops pairing with the headset. The moment it connects with the PC, the headset icon appears in my N8, despite it not having paired the headset.

I've solved it by switching the phone automatically into the pager profile when the headset is recognized by the phone but I would prefer it if the usual sound would be played by the headset only so I can differentiate between phone calls and messages without looking on the screen.
I've tried the WH-701 that came with the phone and the AD-54 I use with my own headphones.
Since the update my when I connect to my BT Voyager Pro+ the phone still rings through the speaker. Is there a setting for the phone to mute the speaker when it's connected to the headset?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs that I have a pair of Wireless Beats headphones. When I scan for Bluetooth devices on my N5 It can't find my headset. I used my Ipad to search for the headset and that picked it up fine. I could even pick up my Ipad Bluetooth using my N5.. (Also note; I have never connected my headset to N5 before)
What I have tried to fix the problem.
-Reset Bluetooth settings
-Factory restore headset
-Connected headset to another device perfectly
-Changed the N5 Bluetooth name
-Reboot on both devices

I'm having problems with the audio on my Bold 9700. It's turning off and on every second and there's a flashing headphone icon in the top left corner of the screen. I plugged headphones into the phone for a while yesterday - I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.
It's really ridiculous that RIM doesn't have actual tech support people that customers can call.
I'm still looking for some answers to get my ringtones back into my Jawbone Icon headset. I've had the same headset paired to a Razr v3xx whereupon I was able to hear my various ringtones I had set for certain contacts so I could tell as to whether or not I needed to answer right away or not without having to look at my phone. I liked the fact that I was able to hear these tones in my headset as well as the phones speaker. Now don't even try to pass this off as the headsets' software, as I ever had changed anything until I paired with my new Atrix. my thoughts are that this is a softwarwe engineers code changes for this particular phone

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had my Bold 9700 plugged into speakers and listening to Slacker like I have done in the past. Now when I try to make a call or receive a call the "Headset" icon flashes on and off as tho the headset is plugged in when nothing is plugged into the jack. This overrides speakerphone too. So basically I can receive and send a call but it cuts in and out quickly since it thinks the headset is taking over.
Not sure if this is a glitch or if something happened when listening to music. Nothing looks abnormal when I look into the headset port. I was thinking maybe I should update the software to see if its a software or bug.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo what might be the problem, when trying start my phone, without usb cable, it goes on, but after 30 sec or so my phone try reboot itself and this loop continues over and over again.
Only way to start the phone that it will stay on, is using usb-cable connected to pc. When doing so, it start normally without crashing everytime. There is also problem with camera and flash. Both things don't work. Flash not even try start but when pushing the camera solution, it will try to start, but after a second it crashes.
Judging from the symptoms I think that there my might be some problem with starting procedures when phone is turned on. The phone maybe trying to check something like camera or flash and crashes doing so. But why this not happen when I have connected my phone with usb to pc? Why this way I can start my phone normally and start using it. I just have avoid to shut it again!
I have an E75. Is there a way on any of the E-series phones to see what frequency you are connected to?
View 1 Replies View Relatedevery time I plug the USB battery charger (nokia standard model), or when I connect E52 to my PC the phone goes in locked state and ask for the security/lock code to unlock it.I know it because it's the default 12345 and after pressing OK the phone continues to work, but if I disconnect USB and connect it again, it goes again to clocked state (like doing it with the power button). firmware is 71.004I have this problem sice some months, but I'm not sure when it started ... may be the last firmware upgrade ? View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my e72 since February, but I only just finally got around to downloading ovi suite on my PC. installation was fine, then it came to the part where it says to connect the phone, so I did that, but nothing happened. the thing on the PC said that I should select 'ovi suite' or 'PC suite' when it appears on the phone, but the home screen was blank. i've tried connecting it many times and still nothing. the phone lights up when i connect it to the computer, but it doesn't prompt me for the connection mode. i've checked the settings (currently on usb conn. mode: PC suite / ask on conn.: yes) but it's not asking me on connection, nor is there any indication on the ovi suite program that it is connected.
