I'm just curious about a 'bug'. I connected my bluetooth headset and I get double notifications. I hear them on the headset and the phone plays them aswell. Tested with several bluetooth devices such as a car or a stereo. Is this 'bug' known? Is there a fix?

My lumia 822 had no problem with this but my HTC one m8 doesn't seem to be able to figure it out.
My N8 connects to my bluetooth headset and functions flawlessly usually. But whenever I connect my N8 via bluetooth to my PC it stops pairing with the headset. The moment it connects with the PC, the headset icon appears in my N8, despite it not having paired the headset.

I have my default set up to send email (was supposed to be only to my computer) days before and hours before as a reminder. Now that I have my GS5 phone and have sync'd it with my calendar I get double notifications for some things and I cant get it to turn off. I dont want to turn off all my notifications? I turned off my email notifications on my phone but that doesn't stop me from getting double Notifications Texts and sound?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have 8.1 on my 1520 and use my Bluetooth headset 97% of the time. I leave it connected all the time and noticed that I do not hear audible incoming text messages, e-mail alerts etc....... The alert sounds come through the Bluetooth headset, so just because I have my Bluetooth connected to my 1520 doesn't mean that I wear my headset all the time, so if I'm not wearing the headset a text message for example will come in and play the alert through the headset but I won't hear it obviously, so I have to check my phone periodically to see if I have text messages or e-mails that have come in.
My wife has even complained that I don't respond to her text messages right away the way I use to when I had my Note 2. On the Note my Bluetooth would be connected just like I do with my 1520, but the sounds/alerts would still be through the phone and audible for me to hear unless I put the phone on silent. Is this an oversight on MS part? Or just something that'll be fixed when the official 8.1 update rolls out???
I'm often getting this icon and I can't understand why. It causes problems as sometimes (when the icon is displayed) I can't answer my calls. Does anyone know why this happens and how to stop it?

I successfully pair my S5 with my laptop but I am missing some services like making calls from the laptop and using its speakers and mic as headset. My question is: Is it hardware incapability or a driver issue(all my drivers are fine in Device Manager)?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my bluetooth headset and try a google command such as "navigate to Staples, Hudson NY" I get a message via the headset stating that I have limited network access and can only use the calling feature. However If I am connected via my wifi it performs that command without any problem as well as any other such a text so and so.
If I turn the headset off and turn off the wifi connection and speak the navigate command directly to the phone it will do so without any problem.
I am at a loss as to why the google commands only work if I'm connected to my wifi while using my headset?
I updated my phone a few days ago (now ver 4.0.3). After this I can no longer connect my headseth (Plantronics m50) with my phone. It's listed, but I get the message that the password/pin is incorrect, and there's nowhere I can type it either. I haven't changed anything and there's no place on my settings where I can reset or retype password?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 2012 bmw 5 series. I can pair the phones but after about 2 minutes it losses pairing. I noticed that the phone contacts never download beyond 3 contacts(I have over 1,000) so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I called bmw service and they were totally unaware of what to do.
Also media is not supported! When connected texts and music will not show or stream.
I'm planning to pick up a S6 next week but I have one quick question. I have used Samsung devices in the past and if I had my headphones connected and I paired my device with my car or Bluetooth speakers the audio would continue to play through the headphones and I would have to disconnect them before audio would play via the Bluetooth device.

Same happens when I connect it with a LG G3. But when I connect it to my S6, there is no such feature. Do I have to enable it in the settings? Or is it just a feature only available on IOS and LG.The speaker does come with a battery indicator, but its pretty vague. 3 lights only, and it indicates Full battery, 75% and low battery only. It'll be great to know the exact amount.

View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my phone to my cars Bluetooth it automatically starts playing music from Samsungs Music app. The issue is I have Google All Access so none of my music is in that app. Is there a way to have Google Music play by default when connected instead of Samsungs Music app? I checked to see if Samsungs app was set as a default but it wasn't and I can't find any auto play options, I also can't just disable the music app. Oddly enough sometimes it will open Google music and other times it will open Samsung Music even if the last time I was in the car I used Google Music.

It's an app for texting that I like better then the default messages app. When I get a text, I get a notification on both the messages and handcent. View 1 Replies View RelatedSince I updated by iPhone 4S to the newest 5.1 iOS (from 5.01), my sound notifications are doing some funky stuff. For example, when I receive a text message, the sound that I have assigned to my family now does a quick one and then immediate second sound over the first sound. It is hard to explain, but the sound notification for TMs no longer works cleanly. It is almost as if the notification sounds, and then is kind of 'slurred' by a very quick second iteration.

I currently have my Nuvi 660 and my motorola H700 headset paired to my phone. Either will connect initially, but then go into a state where they keep disconnecting and reconnecting.
My device is a Blackberry Bold 9650 and is running OS version 6.0 bundle 2333. (I have had this problem since version 4 however.)
I have Bluetooth turned on, and both devices are set to trusted. I do not have both devices running at the same time, so crosstalk is not an issue. Range between the phone ond the device is typically less than 3 or 4 feet with nothing in between them. I've tried about everything I can think of with the options on the devices and the phone and still am having the same issue.

This happens when the earphones are plugged in. Somtimes it shows me that I'm ll decreasing or increasing the volume while I'm not. The volume buttons aren't stuck or anything...
My desire Z is telling me that i have a headset attached but i dont. I have tried the following;
1. I have switched it off and on again.
2. I have cleaned the sockets
At the moment I can only use it if I plug headphones into to listen which is a complete pain.I have lots of text messages, contacts and apps on my phone and I dont want to try a factory reset if I am going to lose them all.

When my headset is plugged in, but not in my ears, I never hear any notifications, like mail, or Words for Friends (not on a plane), or an iMessage. It does vibrate, but that's not very noticeable.Is there a setting to make the sound come out of the speakers when notified of something, even if the headset is plugged in?
