IPhone :: Volume To My Headphones Is Insanely Quiet?
Apr 4, 2012Got a 4s. All of a sudden the podcasts I listen to are really quiet same with the music. I have to have it at 70 percent to hear anything in my headphones. Buddy has same podcast and it's so loud I can hear it outside his earbuds. Same headphones. I never noticed this before. I basically have to jam my earbuds super far into my ear canal to even hear anything. Sound check and limit are off.

Jun 30, 2014I have a 16GB iPhone 4S which is only 11 months old (less than one year) and running iOS 7.1.1. Sometimes the sound gets quiet, especially if i lower the volume in Instagram...
This problem never happened when I was running iOS 6, but it started when I upgraded to iOS 7.0, making the upgrade to iOS 7 something I regret.

Dec 29, 2015The volume used to be fine on my Samsung S6 but in the last couple of months it has gone quiet - even Speaker is too quiet if there is any surrounding noise at all. This was not a problem when I first purchased it about 6 months ago. Now, I just cannot hear what callers are saying unless there is absolute quiet where I am. My hearing is fine!

Nov 1, 2015I have had a white Z5 Compact for a week and have now noticed that the bottom speaker is much louder than the top, ruining the stereo effect. I am sure it did not come this way out of the box. I didn't notice until after the recent firmware update (32.0.A.6.152), but cannot know whether this is the cause of the problem. I went through the hassle of factory reset and the phone still has the problem. I haven't subjected the phone to any physical trauma at all and will be returning it.

The sound plays fine for everything else though like music, ringtones, alarms etc. It definitely hasn't got the protective film on it still it doesn't have a screen protector on it either and the sound bar is up to the highest volume possible

Jan 7, 2010I recently bought a Nokia E63 and after around a week of having it, the speaker went really quiet so I can barely hear what people are saying during a call and I keep having to switch it to loudspeaker which is quite annoying. Also because the speaker's quiet I can't hear my ringtone when I receive a call :/
I'm thinking of sending it for repair so I picked up a freepost return form from the Carphone Warehouse and it says to keep the Sim and memory card only but on the Nokia site the form says to hold onto the battery and battery case too??
