Xperia Mini/pro :: Caller Sound Very Low - Volume On Max
Jul 9, 2012
I'm having a difficult time hearing people when they call, especially outside. The volume of the call is not very loud. Is it supposed to be like that I have the volume on max. Does the volumes setting in sound settings make any difference in the loudness of the caller? I have xLoud checked in the sound settings.
Does the Xperia X10 mini pro support caller ID & Name display? Even thought my account is setup for this feature when someone calls it comes up unknown.
Ray has very low ringing volume, even @ full volume level(7) it can't hear from next room. I miss lot of calls due to low ringing sound....since the speaker is @ bottom, it may also a reason.
I have recently bought Sony Erriscon Mini pro SK 17i. I have updated my android software to 2.3.3. But everybody complains that they are unable to hear my voice right from the start. Can you tell me how to deal with this problem ? How can I increase the volume or power of the mic ?
I'm trying to update my sk17i to ICS, using both pc companion and flash tool, but none of it works since pressing volume down does nothing on my phone when I plug it in. The diode flashes green or white for a blink, then the screen shows Sony Ericsson, and then the battery icon come up. I am in MSC mode, usb debug on or off does not matter, I've removed battery, SIM, SD card, and nothing works.
Before i was using K790i phone in that phone this feature was good Changing the songs in the volume key but know i am using xperia x10 mini there is no such kind of feature.
a while back my xperia mini started with this annoying (and weird ) habit to slowly decrease the volume on the left speaker when playing music. It starts out as normal balance but after a few songs the left is starting to go down to a very low level. Not muting it completely though. It doesn't replug the headphones or even restart the phone. When I give up and leave it for a while it returns to normal though...for a while. Do you think it's hardware or software based? Since it takes a while for the volume to go down I feel it can be difficult for a support to properly analyze it. I'm running stock android 2.1-update1. I've tried different music players but it stays the same.
In April 2012, I purchased SONY ERICSSON XPERIA MINI ST15i cellphone. From last week I am facing very weired problem. No sound is coming out by any mean. When I play music once after 50 try sound comes out but only for 1 minute.
i hear some kind of sound during a call. It occurs only when I'm in 2g coverage. I found that there was no sound when i was in 3g coverage. The sound is like the 1 which we get when we take our phone near speaker or sub-woofer during a call in 2g coverage. sound occurs in few calls only.
Why won't video recorded on phone playback with audio on Windows media player? It plays fine on the phone, but when transferred to PC using either Media Go or Windows there's no audio! However, video files transferred to my phone via bluetooth etc; & subsequently transferred to PC, the playback is fine. Read a previous similar thread & answer was to "check settings" , but which settings - PC or phone?
i was wondering, do this phone have a sound recording software like other sony ericson phones? and does this phone has a 3G? i think it does not have that feature. am i correct?
The caller voice volume has become low on my iPhone (I think it's a 3G, not sure how to tell). The ringer volume works fine. Is there a setting to raise the voice volume?
Am I really hearing some not so good quality here. Its just that I am having trouble understanding the one whom I am speaking to. I hear the sound as if my phone speaker is covered with a pillow.
Have phone at max for volume. Can still barely hear a caller. Works great with bluetooth. How I can get the volume back up? Just started having this problem in the past month.
locate where I can urn off the notification sound when i send a text message. It is incredibly annoying. I only seem to be able to change the notification of received and sent messages at same time and I do not want this to be on silent as I would like to know when i get a message. I recently upraged to andrid 2.1.
my xperia mini pro (built 4.0.2.A.0.62) doesn't play ringtone on incoming call (sometimes it plays only 2 seconds), all sound set correctly (not in silent mode), I tried to call from another phone, there was incoming call but no sound, I can answer it, everything is fine only no ringtone sound. Any solution?
After the update, the shutter sound is not silent when in silent/vibrate mode. Also, I am not sure if this is bug, but to activate camera with camera button, now you need to long press the button, whereas before you just had to tap. [Is it a bug or a fix?]But, the previous mentioned is a bug. Shutter should not make a sound when the phone is on silent mode or vibrate mode.
My mini pro refuses to make a sound (it simply vibrates) whenever a text message comes in, even though it's not on silent and I've got the volume turned up all the way.I was curious as to if this has something to do with a padlock icon that has appeared in the right hand corner of the main display, next to the reception bars. I have no idea how it got there or what it does, and I can't find any info about it
I got my Xperia mini a couple of weeks ago and I am generally very satisfied. Just one thing is a little bit annoying. I use the mini as my primary music player. Whenever I connect it to my home stereo or car stereo through line in, I get a pulsating, humming noise for a couple of seconds. I have tried it with several stereos and computer speakers. Always the same. I use the latest firmware update.
