Other features of the phone are working fine..
Whenever I make or receive a call my volume is automatically reset to very low. It doesn't matter what volume the phone is, I could make a call adjust the volume to max. Make another call and it's low again. So low you can barely hear anything. It's quite frustrating.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm having a difficult time hearing people when they call, especially outside. The volume of the call is not very loud. Is it supposed to be like that I have the volume on max. Does the volumes setting in sound settings make any difference in the loudness of the caller? I have xLoud checked in the sound settings.

My in call volume automatically changes to about 75 percent whenever I answer the phone or call out, and I have to turn it back up. Is this a bug? Or am I just missing a menu somewhere in settings.
I have a iPhone 5 IOS 7.1.2 when I plug my headphone into my phone volume going down automatically ...

Since a couple of days when i unlock my iphone 6 (iOS 8.1.1) using TouchId, the ringtone volume increases to maximum automatically (almost every time). A reboot of the phone didn't show any improvement.

When I am calling or getting called my phone automatically turns up/down the volume till maximum. Means, when I try to turn down the volume a little it automatically keeps on turning down till minimum (and the way arround). Even if I don't change the volume it automatically turns up.
When the phone reaches maximum volume it always 'beeps'.
Tasker or any other program to automatically turn the media volume to max? This is convenient as I want the volume maxed out when I connect to my cars bluetooth (otherwise I really have to crank up the stereo volume), but I don't want media volume on max when not connected. In the past I have used one of two apps (Tasker or Bluetooth Connect & Play). Both of these apps are having issues adjusting the media volume when they worked perfectly on my pre kitkat phones. Sometimes it works correctly and maxes out the volume, other times it doesn't change it at all.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI'm having problem with my Samsung Galaxy S II (GT- I9100). The increase volume button is not working properly. Furthermore, when open any random software i.e games, the volume/sound will be set maximum automatically and can't turn down even pressing the decrease volume button. Even if i set the volume to silent first before run a game, the volume will automatically set to maximum after i run the game. If i want to increase volume i had to increase it at setting menu. This also effect when i want to zoom in to take a pic.

This is like the 3rd time that my LG G4 lost all volume...seems to happen after a incoming phone call. I can barely hear lock and unlock sounds but everything else is silent. I checked all volume levels and all are at full level. I am baffled here! The last 2 times it happened, the volume just came back to normal on it's own.
I was able to get sound back by rebooting the phone...but this is a big issue! Can't hear calls or texts coming in!
Having issue with YouTube using the phone volume instead of media & music volume? I can barely hear any videos.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a new LG G4 and I can't seem to turn off or turn down notification sound. You cannot turn down the volume of notifications without turning down the volume of your call ringtone. It's such a basic thing to do, but I can't figure it out. I decided I'd load a ringtone of Silent or None but Verizon's LGG4 does not have that option, again very poor design. While trying to load another ringtone, I went to settings, apps, sound, and hit the small + sign to load a new ringtone and was greeted with another one of those "Do you want to use this action, or that app, or whatever" and then the option "always" or "Just once" and without thinking I chose "Always" now I can't get to the media browser? I tried to clear defaults but can't find the sound app that controls this? Where is this setting?

my i-phone 3gs sound and volume bar is gone ? how to get it back?

When using my iPhone 4 to do anything like listen to music, watch a video or just using apps, the volume bar disappears from the screen and the sound stops. When I get texts and things sometimes it just vibrates and doesn't make a noise. I know the speakers still work because when I go to the settings and touch the sound bar it makes the test noise to show you how loud it will be.
This problem is the same when using my headphones. I've tried syncing it to my laptop & making sure it has the latest iOS version.

What should I do when my speaker (iphone 4s) emits no sound? When I play a song, the volume changer (+ & -) is not below. And when I click the + & - volume (on the left side of the phone), there is nothing happening.

I had just bought my N900, but I'm surprised that when I playing any mp3 or when assigning a ringetone, the sound output or volume is so low,Comparing with my old one N95. yes it's extremely low..while trying to decrease the volume and mark it to be like 25%, it will be zero sound output.i have downloaded a new media player with equalizer, nothing new, same low volume and i guess it's not related to media player, as if someone dialing me the ring tone also is very low.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I silence the phone (vibrate) by holding the volume down button then later turn the sound back on, the phone will not make any sounds at all. No ringer for calls, no sample sounds while browsing the sound picker, etc. until the phone is restarted. Latest build (M) and rooted.

I got my 5230 today. And when I put music on it, and played the song, it plays extremely soft, even if the volume is on its loudest. There's this button on the headset, when I press it, it plays louder, but only on the left side?? I tried putting in another set of headphones, but the problem remains.
