View 1 RepliesI am getting annoyed by the volume notification that says "Listening to music on high volume for long periods of time might be harmful" etc., sometimes I'm out running and I try to turn up the volume, it'll vibrate and block it, so I'm forced to pull out my phone and dismiss the freaking notification.
I tried searching for it in the settings, nothing came up as a toggle switch off.
I just got the 5s and when placing or receiving a call, the sound is very low. I can barley hear the person on the other end. if I switch it to the speaker I have no problems hearing them. All other sounds, music and tones play fine and I've checked the volume button on the side and the sounds button under settings, everything is turned up to high. Is there any other place on the phone or settings to go to?

My earpeice volume has gone very quiet even though the sound level is up on high. Is this something i can fix or is this a warranty issue.

How do I tie the ringer, alert and notification volumes together.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAs the title says, I am looking for a way to change the text alert (for when someone sends you a page), both volume and actual sound used, using an app or smart actions (in much the same way you can change the ringer using smart actions).Unlike most people I want it to get really loud and anoying at night (when I am likly asleep) so it will wake me up.I am also looking for a way to alarm/chip/alert/notify again if I have unheard messages or unviewed pages. Right now there is this blinking LED on the front. That is nice, but it won't wake me up or let me know if I went to the other room for a sec.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just moved from LG touch (hated it) to a very basic Nokia 2220. Previously had Samsung before.
With the 2220, when I receive a text I have set the tone I want however I cannot find if this phone will allow the tone to sound after every two minutes. All my previous phones have had this facility which I like as if you don't hear the notification sound at first it alerts you every two minutes. Is it just this phone or are all Nokia's like this?
The notification sound (when an email/sms/calendar pushes) during a call is so annoying and uncomfortable (there will be a weird sound in the earphone and then the normal notification sound, too distracting). Is it possible to disable that weird sound?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a new LG G4 and I can't seem to turn off or turn down notification sound. You cannot turn down the volume of notifications without turning down the volume of your call ringtone. It's such a basic thing to do, but I can't figure it out. I decided I'd load a ringtone of Silent or None but Verizon's LGG4 does not have that option, again very poor design. While trying to load another ringtone, I went to settings, apps, sound, and hit the small + sign to load a new ringtone and was greeted with another one of those "Do you want to use this action, or that app, or whatever" and then the option "always" or "Just once" and without thinking I chose "Always" now I can't get to the media browser? I tried to clear defaults but can't find the sound app that controls this? Where is this setting?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn recent days I've noticed a rather annoying quirk with the sound from my Photon. If I'm listening to music (Winamp, the stock app, or Pandora) and a notification pops up, I hear the notification sound but afterward the volume of my music drops down a lot. I'll turn the volume up, but as soon as the track changes my ears blow up when the volume level returns to what it was previously

Now, i've just realised that no messages have shown up for a few weeks (!) but if i go to my contact, the sms is there. View 3 Replies View Relatedyesterday I changed my ringer settings to silent (in a meeting) - ever since, I can't change them back. The "Sound and Alert Profiles" won't open when I try to select it. The icon on the top left won't open either.Even if I make changes under the Options and save them, they aren't changed.

View 3 Replies View RelatedFirst time I've gotten this alert. Not rooted. Was in dock all night.Pulled it out of dock and within moments I got an alert I've not seen before, in the status bar.I went to the task manager to see what it was all about and the OS was using 54% of the CPU.Moments later it jumped to 80+ percent. It kept moving between 50-ish and 80+ from moment to moment.I ended up shutting the phone off and restarting it.After doing that, no more alerts, but the first time I checked the OS following the restart, it was at 27%.Basically, it's now using a minimum of 16% and sometimes more than 25%, but never more than roughly 30%.IS THAT NORMAL?oh, and as a test, I put it back in the dock for a moment or two, took it out, and no "high CPU usage" alerts.
View 15 Replies View RelatedJust purchased my G4 a few days ago and noticed that anytime I play media of any sort, the volume fluctuates between high and low.
It starts of at the volume level I set it to, the gets quieter and quieter till you can't hear anything then it gets loud again.
Initially thought perhaps I was inadvertently hitting the volume down button but the volume indicator does not move.
Was using the GPS via the speakerphone and it was a horrible experience.
How do I turn down the volume on my email notifications. It's too loud and annoying in the middle of a meeting! Which icon do I use to get to this option setting?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis seems like it might be useful for most people: I want my ringer volume low when still or at home etc, and High when on the move. (I don't drive) Any Apps do this? Can it be done by writing my own App?

When i turn up the volume to high (when it goes red on the volumebar on screen) i cannot turn it down again via volume buttons.
I can turn up to maximum and turn down to where the red level begins, but i cannot turn down below the red line. Between, if i use the volume settings on screen, theres no problems.
If i turn down below high settings i can adjust via buttons fine but as soon as i get up to high again it wont turn down via buttons. Its the same with buttons on phone and on headset. I have done a full reinstall of iphone with no change to the problem.

Having issue with the audio cutting out when the volume is up high when using headphones? For example, during a phone call, if things get loud, the audio will start popping.
View 3 Replies View RelatedHad this same problem on the S4. Whenever I open the Google Music app, for example, and then turn up the volume using the volume rocker, that annoying warning that says "Listening at high volume can cause hearing damage..." or whatever pops up, and you have to hit OK to dismiss it. On the S5 that warning even seems to pop up more often. I never figured out how to disable it on my S4, which was running an older version of Android, nor do I know how to disable it on my S5 running Kit Kat 4.2.2.
View 19 Replies View RelatedWhen I am calling or getting called my phone automatically turns up/down the volume till maximum. Means, when I try to turn down the volume a little it automatically keeps on turning down till minimum (and the way arround). Even if I don't change the volume it automatically turns up.
When the phone reaches maximum volume it always 'beeps'.
How do I change my BBM notification tone/sound? I have a Curve 8330.
