View 4 RepliesSometimes when I silence the phone (vibrate) by holding the volume down button then later turn the sound back on, the phone will not make any sounds at all. No ringer for calls, no sample sounds while browsing the sound picker, etc. until the phone is restarted. Latest build (M) and rooted.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI want to disable only the beeping sound when you plug it in to charge. I don't want to turn the volume down or sounds entirely off because I use alarms in other non iOS apps which are too soft if I simply adjust the overall sound effects levels (so please don't bother to recommend that). I just don't like that one noise, sounds like a squeal of pain and is unnecessarily loud.
Info:
iOS 4, iPod Touch 4thGen
SMS tone volume is set on high but still no sound when SMS arrives. I have to look at display constantly. Which settings should be changed how?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAs the title says, I am looking for a way to change the text alert (for when someone sends you a page), both volume and actual sound used, using an app or smart actions (in much the same way you can change the ringer using smart actions).Unlike most people I want it to get really loud and anoying at night (when I am likly asleep) so it will wake me up.I am also looking for a way to alarm/chip/alert/notify again if I have unheard messages or unviewed pages. Right now there is this blinking LED on the front. That is nice, but it won't wake me up or let me know if I went to the other room for a sec.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI know with my N5 I had constant problems with the "butt dial flashlight" and on of the reasons I got a N6 is that I wanted to eliminate that problem and indeed it was successful. Now with the 6P this morning I noticed my pocket was getting hot and I took the phone out and the flashlight was on..

View 4 Replies View RelatedAny way to boost bluetooth playback volume. I have beats wireless studio headphones and they are definitely not as loud as they were when using them with my g3 on CM12. I do remember them being this low on the stock lg rom but when I switched over to CM the sound drastically increased. I am looking for a no root solution if possible as I am stock for the time being. I can't even feel any bass from these things and that's what they are supposed to be for.
View 1 Replies View RelatedPretty much as the title says. In Marshmallow, I simply can't find how to disable a user app, I can only see how to disable system apps.
View 7 Replies View RelatedOk so if your phone reboots or crashes, you will need to enter a password or pattern in order for the phone to work. Even alarms and everything won't work until you enter the password. That's pretty bad especially if you NEED an alarm
Some people mentioned turning it on and off and it would give you a prompt to disable it.
It's weird. I'm not talking about DND. Seems as though every time I put ringer on vibrate it reverts back to sound after a while. Same with the media volume. I don't get it?!?!?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have observed this since day 1 on my nexus 6p, that up till 70% volume level (volume steps), the sound is barely audible in lightly noisy room and then from 75% to 100% (volume steps) volume increases drastically and is loud, crisp & clear!
View 6 Replies View RelatedHaving issue with the audio cutting out when the volume is up high when using headphones? For example, during a phone call, if things get loud, the audio will start popping.
View 3 Replies View RelatedOn my old Note 3 it had a separate volume for the phone ringer and a separate volume for the notification tones, like my text messages. I have noticed on my Nexus 6P that it seems the ringer and notification volume controls are the same. I use to turn my text message volume almost completely off at night and leave my phone ringer turned up some. But I have not been able to do that on the Nexus 6P. Am I missing something or are these two volumes on the same control? I am rooted and running Pure Nexus. I need separate volumes controls for them.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI swapped from a Nexus 5 to the 6P, and I'm finding bluetooth volume to be incredibly low. I basically can't hear my audiobooks in the car with it being as low as it is. This is a serious problem for me. I have the volume maxed and it's like a whisper.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my Nexus 6P. The volume of music is very loud, but of the phone-call speaker mode very weak despite me putting it at max volume while in call.
View 8 Replies View RelatedWas just wondering, is it even possible to modify the behavior of the power/volume buttons? It's a bit sensitive and imo placed in an odd spot.
It would be great if there was a way to modify it such as :
power button - either disable it, x clicks to turn screen on/off or a long press to turn on/off with a longer press to power down... just examples
volume rocker - disable
I know you can do this with smart pairing of Bluetooth devices but I was hoping to be able to do the same for when I'm playing music through my car's auxiliary jack / over the phone's speakers. I've done a fair bit of googling but haven't found a solution. I use llama app on my phone to trigger events and have tried setting a trigger using the music app to trigger the screen lock to disable but it doesn't work. I'm wondering if it's feasible to somehow trigger screen lock to be disabled when a music app is active?
View 6 Replies View RelatedCan I disable the cell signal automatically on the unrooted nexus 6P?
I know I can pop it in airplane mode and then turn back on bluetooth & wifi but I want to automate this process so that when I'm at work it will toggle the cell radio off.
I'm running a rooted 6P with TWRP and a custom kernel. Just got a notification for an OTA. Obviously, I can't run this update. How can I disable the update check? I have ROM Manager and know how to disable apps, but don't see any obvious update check system app.
View 2 Replies View RelatedYes.. At time my nexus simply loses its notification sounds. Media sounds still works just the notifying sound disappears. And after a reboot it works fine.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have charging sounds turned on in the other sounds section under the Sounds and notifications menu but the phones makes no sound at all when i plug/unplug the charging cable nor it makes any sound when the battery reaches full charge status.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have tried apple and samsung headphones that have volume controls on the headphone wire and both of them pause audio play back if you try to turn the volume up or down. I tried this in Google Music and Beyond Podcast and same issue. If I press volume up then playback pauses.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHaving issues with video calls and speaker phone calls? Everyone I have talked to complains about barely being able to hear me. I use hangouts mostly for the video calls. Just wondering if it is my phone or a common issue.
View 10 Replies View RelatedThe Volume Down button is jammed (the phone fell and landed on its edge slightly crushing the frame where the volume down is). Curiously the Volume Up button still increased the volume.
After turning the phone off the problem came when turning on the phone as it now only boots into the bootloader as a result of the jammed Volume Down button. Once in bootloader mode, the volume up/down buttons do not change the reboot options - it appears the stuck Volume Down button is causing this.
The way to fix this is to take the phone apart (as per the Youtube clips) and physically straighten the frame. This is no easy task, so the question: is there a way around this so that the phone can boot? It's rooted and fastboot commands work. (I installed TWRP but can only boot to recovery with adb).
I noticed that my phone have uneven speaker volume. ( top is louder than bottom )
Majority of apps out there only allow adjustment to overall volume...
Any way to access the service menu to Increase Headphone volume? I am not rooted. So service menu is my only option to Increase the volume.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow I could improve the sound of my nexus 6P with an application or procedure?? I am root...
View 2 Replies View RelatedOne more of problems i got whit 6P is that when i make screenshot sound isnt played for it but any other screenshot and sound is played properly.
I can replicate this by rebooting device and testing again.
Device is full stock,no root.
I did clear cache in recovery just to be sure and still problem is present.
I have encountered this multiple times. The sound is coming normally and just goes off without any reason.
The sound comes back if I pause the audio/ video and then replay. However, after 2-3nutes the sound goes back again.
The only solution is to restart the phone and then the sound is OK for around 2-3 days.
1) During listening music on google play music.
2) During watching video on VLC player
This is a default Australian nexus with default rom and all the updates from Google. NOT rooted.
