Nov 12, 2015I've got TWRP installed, so OTAs won't install. Is there a way to disable the update notifications or is anyone making flashable zips for them?

Huawei Nexus 6P :: Not Getting Certain Notifications
Nov 23, 2015I've noticed something since I got my phone and that is that certain notifications (Snapchat and Messenger are the main 2 for at the moment) will not make a sound unless my phone is either: Unlocked or locked with the screen turned on. Sometimes I won't get even get the notification until I actually unlock my phone which then all the notifications (sometimes 10+ messages in a facebook group) will pop up and vibrate my phone multiple times.

Dec 30, 2015I don't know if I am missing a setting but many times I will have no email notification and there are new unread emails in the gmail app. I have exchange and gmail addresses setup and I think it happens with all of them or it is just the exchange emails.I went into all the gmail email settings and selected notification for every email and not just once, the exchange emails do not have this option. I also have vibrate selected but I feel no vibration when they come in. I put the gmail app on priority notification but that didn't work

Nov 12, 2015I noticed that the Spotify notifications disappear every once and awhile while music is playing. I'm wondering if this is something that was introduced into 6.0 or what. I can open spotify check back an hour later and it's still playing but I have to switch back to the app and the notification comes back.
This is pretty frustrating when trying to stop the music from running. It can also happen after 20 minutes it seems..Another issue is that I receive a phone call but the music starts playing in earpiece or bluetooth while the phone is occurring. Combine this with issue 1 and you have a difficult situation here...
Huawei Nexus 6P :: Notifications On Lock Screen
Nov 25, 2015I have a couple of questions about this.
1) With Ambient display enabled, the screen pops on when a notification comes through, or when I pick up the device. If Ambient display is disabled, the screen doesn't wake for either circumstance.
- The way I would like to have it, is where the screen only comes on when a notification comes through, and not when I move the phone. For me, it's a bit annoying most times. Is there a setting or another way to achieve this?
2) When Ambient display is enabled and I get the sound or vibration for a notification, it takes a few seconds (3-5) for the screen to come on.
- Is this normal? I'd prefer it to come on right after the notification sound/vibration.
I'm currently on build MDA89D, and have fingerprint/pin set for lock screen security.

Some people mentioned turning it on and off and it would give you a prompt to disable it.

Dec 17, 2015So lately I have not been getting hangout notifications and it's driving me nuts. I have it paired to my android wear watch and 80% of the time it works fine but other times I get text messages and nothing, no buzz, not even a notification in my task manager letting me know I have a unread message, totally blank. It's not until I go into hangouts and I see the bold text that I know I got a message. Even when not paired to the watch,same thing, no buzz, sound, notification icon, nothing until I open hangouts and see it.
Fully stock and on 6.0.1 as of a few days ago and still the problem.

Jan 3, 2016I have been using WhatsApp a lot more than usual lately and there's something that's bothering me. While the screen is off, there's a notification for each message received. So, in case I have someone messaging me 20 times in a row, I will hear the notification tone 20 times. I know some apps limit the number of notifications by time and I'd like to do this with WhatsApp.
Is there some way to do this? To make it clear, I'd like to be able to set an option like "Only ring once for whatever number of messages every 30 seconds".

I've done a fair bit of googling but haven't found a solution. I use llama app on my phone to trigger events and have tried setting a trigger using the music app to trigger the screen lock to disable but it doesn't work. I'm wondering if it's feasible to somehow trigger screen lock to be disabled when a music app is active?
