Nov 18, 2015My phone doesn't ring some tines! It just vibrates. I had set it to custom Ringtone and now set it back to a default Ringtone.. And it still doesn't ring.

Nov 23, 2015I've noticed something since I got my phone and that is that certain notifications (Snapchat and Messenger are the main 2 for at the moment) will not make a sound unless my phone is either: Unlocked or locked with the screen turned on. Sometimes I won't get even get the notification until I actually unlock my phone which then all the notifications (sometimes 10+ messages in a facebook group) will pop up and vibrate my phone multiple times.

Dec 30, 2015I don't know if I am missing a setting but many times I will have no email notification and there are new unread emails in the gmail app. I have exchange and gmail addresses setup and I think it happens with all of them or it is just the exchange emails.I went into all the gmail email settings and selected notification for every email and not just once, the exchange emails do not have this option. I also have vibrate selected but I feel no vibration when they come in. I put the gmail app on priority notification but that didn't work

Nov 12, 2015I noticed that the Spotify notifications disappear every once and awhile while music is playing. I'm wondering if this is something that was introduced into 6.0 or what. I can open spotify check back an hour later and it's still playing but I have to switch back to the app and the notification comes back.
This is pretty frustrating when trying to stop the music from running. It can also happen after 20 minutes it seems..Another issue is that I receive a phone call but the music starts playing in earpiece or bluetooth while the phone is occurring. Combine this with issue 1 and you have a difficult situation here...
Huawei Nexus 6P :: Notifications On Lock Screen
Nov 25, 2015I have a couple of questions about this.
1) With Ambient display enabled, the screen pops on when a notification comes through, or when I pick up the device. If Ambient display is disabled, the screen doesn't wake for either circumstance.
- The way I would like to have it, is where the screen only comes on when a notification comes through, and not when I move the phone. For me, it's a bit annoying most times. Is there a setting or another way to achieve this?
2) When Ambient display is enabled and I get the sound or vibration for a notification, it takes a few seconds (3-5) for the screen to come on.
- Is this normal? I'd prefer it to come on right after the notification sound/vibration.
I'm currently on build MDA89D, and have fingerprint/pin set for lock screen security.
Huawei Nexus 6P :: Not Getting Notifications On Watch Or Phone - No Buzz
Dec 17, 2015So lately I have not been getting hangout notifications and it's driving me nuts. I have it paired to my android wear watch and 80% of the time it works fine but other times I get text messages and nothing, no buzz, not even a notification in my task manager letting me know I have a unread message, totally blank. It's not until I go into hangouts and I see the bold text that I know I got a message. Even when not paired to the watch,same thing, no buzz, sound, notification icon, nothing until I open hangouts and see it.
Fully stock and on 6.0.1 as of a few days ago and still the problem.

Jan 3, 2016I have been using WhatsApp a lot more than usual lately and there's something that's bothering me. While the screen is off, there's a notification for each message received. So, in case I have someone messaging me 20 times in a row, I will hear the notification tone 20 times. I know some apps limit the number of notifications by time and I'd like to do this with WhatsApp.
Is there some way to do this? To make it clear, I'd like to be able to set an option like "Only ring once for whatever number of messages every 30 seconds".

Nov 30, 2012I just spent an hour and a half talking with support through chat and level 2 support through Motorola's call center. The most recent update mentions that you've "Added Support to control Notification Volume along with Ringer Volume". I had assumed that this had fixed my problem that I had with this application, but was greatly confused when it didn't.I want an action to adjust my Ringer Volume and an action to adjust my Notification Volume. I want them to be separate settings, not combined. I have read multiple threads posted previously in this forum from people complaining that they need to have the volume of their notifications all the way up, or their ringer volume up while they are sleeping for work.As a Systems Administrator I want to be able to sleep at night. I don't want to hear pinging from people emailing me at 4 AM. I work for a company that has associates all over the world, so this happens regularly. I do however NEED to have my ringer volume up in case our equipment has issues at our DC.
I understand that you want to keep the application streamlined and as simple as possible, but it really will not cause confusion to have the same volume sliders that Android has within settings. It does not seem like it would be that difficult to add the 4 volume sliders for Media, Ringtone, Notifications, and Alarms. It would actually make MUCH more sense to users than it does now. (Especially considering I spent an hour and a half on the phone with support over a poorly worded update description)

Dec 2, 2015Bought my 950 from AT&T. I use Office 365 and Outlook SMS calendar notifications (via Exchange) which are sent via carrier email to text.
On my Icon w/ a Verizon account, each notification nested within a single contact or send SMS number (was always "6245"). However, with AT&T I am getting each notification from a distinct number, such as "1 (410) 100-030," "1 (410) 100-031," "1 (410) 100-032," etc., and as per the attached (these messages are from RedOxgyen Outlook SMS that works the same as calendar notifications). It renders the calendar and other Outlook SMS functions useless, as it overwhelms my SMS inbox.

Nov 12, 2013This is happening often. When I have an incoming call the call screen appears and phone rings. I go to answer by dragging the icon to the green answer icon and nothing happens. The phone continues to ring. Trying to drag to the red ignore call icon has the same result. Eventually the caller gets sent to voicemail, but the phone remains locked in this state and needs to be rebooted before it is operational again. I thought it was related to teh phone being in a lockscreen state, but it now appears to be random. I have contacted Google and they said they have not heard of this issue before. Essentially it is unusuable as a phone.
