If I make a call as soon as I press to dial the screen goes black and I can't reactivate it unless the person in the other end hangs up, so if it goes to voice mail I have to restart my device, if the person hangs up I have to double tap the power button to wake it up but that activates the camera, that's the only way I'm able to do it.
Both mine and my wife's 6p's are not able to access the internet while a call is in progress. My phone is unlocked & rooted, however my wife's is complete stock so I know that can't be the issue. I've also tried disabling the "enhanced" calling with LTE under cellular networks on both devices and this doesn't fix the issue, either.
After going into my Verizon online and adding the Advanced calling 1.0 feature to my line, then rebooting my phone, and waiting a few minutes, things automatically started working.
Yes.. At time my nexus simply loses its notification sounds. Media sounds still works just the notifying sound disappears. And after a reboot it works fine.
I have charging sounds turned on in the other sounds section under the Sounds and notifications menu but the phones makes no sound at all when i plug/unplug the charging cable nor it makes any sound when the battery reaches full charge status.
Sometimes when I silence the phone (vibrate) by holding the volume down button then later turn the sound back on, the phone will not make any sounds at all. No ringer for calls, no sample sounds while browsing the sound picker, etc. until the phone is restarted. Latest build (M) and rooted.
My nexus 6p has worked fine for months however I woke up yesterday morning to find it would not play a video on YouTube. Continuing to use it I noticed the following symptoms:Wont play videos of any kind (youtube, Facebook etc)Speakers do not work at all phone hangs and will not connect during incoming or outgoing calls. The call may connect after several minutes of the screen hanging on the blue calling screen however speakers don't work anyway.Phone restarts itself randomly.I have tried a hard reset from recovery, wiped cache, booted to safe mode etc with no change. The phone is bone stock and has not been rooted.
After flashing viper4android, the speakers are unable to produce sound of any sort. I tried flashing the factory image, and uninstalling the viper driver, but nothing seems to work.
For some reason I cannot change notification sounds in each of these apps. It just falls back to the system notifications sounds. Do I need to change app permissions to allow for this change?
OK, gmail seems to work. Now just hangouts not working.
When I record a video on my Nexus 6 P when the camera focuses you can hear a purring or a tapping sound. easiest way to recreate this is to do it tap focus by focusing on the far and back on a near object.
Is it a faulty device or all have this issue. Im recording in 4k.
I will be listening to music through headphone, and a call comes and it isnt through headphone, I call with headphones in and call goes through phone speaker as if I do not have hadphones in at all.
If I press the speakerphone button, I will then hear through my headphone, but still cant talk through headphone mic.
I thought the call screen is supposed to give you options (headset, or headphones) but I think only saw it once, only thing the button does now is just switch the speakerphone and off the speakerphone.
I do what I normally do which is go into the system UI media folder and delete the camera click sound after rooting. However this time even with those files completely deleted the camera app still make the shutter sound. Is it like OEM camera apps now where the sound is built into the app and it's not using the folder sound anymore?
in regards to an iPhone 4S, is there a way to turn off the camera shutter sound that comes with taking a screenshot? (power button+home button) The phone is from South Korea, and I am aware of the law that requires a shutter sound for cameras due to surreptitious activity with cameras, but there should be no reason that a screenshot of the iPhone's screen should be associated with an obnoxious shutter sound that does not silence even after putting the phone on silent, lowering the volume, etc.
Info: iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1, The phone is from South Korea
my phone will play when i plug in an auxillary but when i go to play music just off the phone speaker there is no sound. also i can only hear when making a call while it is on speaker phone.
I have a iPhone 3GS and the problem is that the ringer doesn't make any sound! youtube is fine, music is fine, when I go to settings to hear my ringer sound it works fine, but when someone actually texts me or I get a notification it doesn't make sound! also on twitter when i watch a vine there is no sound on that also. so What I am supposed to do.
Few days ago, I was driving, and I connected headphones to answer the call, but did not heard any sound. The problem was not in hardware of the headphones, because, the music and video player with connected headphones works fine, and I also can hear sounds wile typing on the phone, but when answer, headphones go mute, and mic is working fine. Before that, it was working fine.
My BB curve has recently started making a very loud static sound every 5 minutes (when not in use). I have removed all podcast apps and followed other advice on various posts and it has not made a difference. I think I have the most recent OS (6) not sure when it updated and perhaps that is the problem. Also this is not an audible thing meaning adjusting the volume and putting the phone on mute makes no difference. My carrier is Verizon. Really sounds like someone is trying to connect via old school sprint direct connect, every five minutes.
I just switched from an iphone 3g to a TMO Bold 9700 a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I didn't do it but all of a sudden upon receipt of a new e-mail, I get a audible alert and I can't find anywhere to turn it off. I did discover that the iphone seems a little more user friendly when it comes to path of some of their settings though.
I've got an Apple iPhone for three months now. My question: Is it normal that when I click the home button, I can hear the click sound of the home button really good?? The home button itself is working fine, but I would like to know if the clicking sound of the home button is normal...
iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.1 with AT&T: When I place an outgoing call, there is no ringing tone on my end. I can hear the person when they answer, and they can hear me. This is happening with all numbers, not just specific ones (both cell and land lines). I've tried switching to speaker phone, which makes no difference. I've checked my bluetooth setting, and am not connected to another source. I'm not in airplane mode, or Do Not Disturb. My operating system is up to date.
