The notification sound (when an email/sms/calendar pushes) during a call is so annoying and uncomfortable (there will be a weird sound in the earphone and then the normal notification sound, too distracting). Is it possible to disable that weird sound?

1. Recurring appointment in calender is without sound notification. Only the first event had sound.
2. When I select picture from camera roll, auto-fix it and save, it doesn´t show up in saved pictures folder. This worked great couple of months or weeks ago, not anymore.
On May 18, 2015 I did the software update for my Lumia 1020 and now my phone seems to be experiencing a bunch of issues. Email doesn't refresh and I have to do it manually. My MS account cannot sync email nor calendar. Text messages don't send and various apps (WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) won't open. Is there any solution to this? If not, how do I roll this back?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAll reminders set on my Blackberry Torch 9800 would not provide a reminder (a pop up screen) nor would it vibrate (in normal and vibrate mode) or make a sound (in normal mode) when the time of reminder was set. For example: Time now it is 4:50pm and I set a reminder for 5pm with a reminder set for 5 min. On my previous BB9700 a reminder would be generated at 4:55 pm (a sound and/or vibrate depending on the mode and profile setting). On my current BB 9800, nothing would happen.

I have just moved from LG touch (hated it) to a very basic Nokia 2220. Previously had Samsung before.
With the 2220, when I receive a text I have set the tone I want however I cannot find if this phone will allow the tone to sound after every two minutes. All my previous phones have had this facility which I like as if you don't hear the notification sound at first it alerts you every two minutes.Is it just this phone or are all Nokia's like this?
How can I make the calendar sound an alert when an event happens?

The vibration mode works fine for me (both call and message notifications vibrate only), but sound notification for text messages when I am in the middle of something. I am a new Android user and it seems that both settings cannot be done separately for the vibration mode.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI know we can change the call alert sound. That's easy enough to find. Has anyone found a way to change the chirp itself? I am speaking of the Talk Permit chirp. I figure if the DuraMax and DuraCore can change the sounds, we should be able to. They have like 6 or 7 changeable chirps in the event you don't like a loud beep. I personally would like a subtle tone when I have my ear piece in driving down the road or when I'm at work. An 80dB blast to the eardrum at 4000 Hz kind of stings.

I have my phone set to Push and Fetch for manual check to help conserve battery, and when I check, I will see the email come in, but no notification sound/vibrate. Even on fetch it does it. And from appx. 5 mins and on I will finally hear the notification ding or vibrate. I called apple care- they walked me through resetting all network settings.. that did not work, I also restore my phone.. and that did not work..

I tested the call blocking feature today and noticed that it forwarded the call to voice mail. Is there any option somewhere to have it drop the call instead? I had this in my Captivate but not on my S3, had to use the Mr. Number app. Would be nice to have because if I go through the trouble of blocking a number, I don't want them leaving a message either. It's mostly telemarketers that I block and the messages they leave are usually dead air...

Everytime inbox needs to refreshed inorder to see new mails. Same with Gmail app installed on phone.

I travel to and fro my company by bus. The bus usually travels at 60kmph on an average. So due to road patches and connections, etc vibrations travel to the passenger.Does this constant travelling in the bus have any kind of damaging effect on the ball bearing system. While I was editing a video from my Lumia 1020 in Final Cut X, I found than phone recording audio only in right channel. Left channel source is totally quiet. When I try to record video via default WP Camera app, there is no sound at all. In Nokia Camera there is a sound, but only for right channel. I've tried hard reset, but with no success.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThere is a sound like a "chirp"of a bird during capturing images, the moment the shutter closes. This sound is apart from the "click"sound. And the chirp sounds again after capturing during reopening of the camera after capture.
I am thinking this will be a future squeak sound. but nothing affects the focusing on video and on photos.
How can I disable that? It's super annoying and loud..hurts my ear.

XYZ's birthday on December 12. By browsing calendar application it is no different to anyone's else. However , it is not cleared from wallpaper. It reads "Today is XYZ's birthday .
All Day " By wallpaper I mean the very initial picture which we slide up to see tiles.
