While I was editing a video from my Lumia 1020 in Final Cut X, I found than phone recording audio only in right channel. Left channel source is totally quiet. When I try to record video via default WP Camera app, there is no sound at all. In Nokia Camera there is a sound, but only for right channel. I've tried hard reset, but with no success.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHaving problems with the sound quality of their video recordings?I have a lot of background noise even in the quietest of rooms.I exchanged my Galaxy S5 after a week because everyone kept saying I sounded muffled and my voicemail sounded muffled too. Verizon swapped me into a new S5 and although the sound of my voice and voicemail are better, the video recording sounds are horrible. If the subject is talking it the background noise takes away from the voice. in a quiet room, still noise even though there is no fan or a/c going and windows are closed. I have enabled the noise reduction in the call sound setting.

This is 2015 and you think that users will accept mono audio even in 4k video.
Even my nokia N8 can record nice stereo.
The sound on my iphone video camera is not working. I have used it before and it was OK. I shot an hour's worth of clips during which I tested and heard the sound being recorded. When I went to upload it to my computer, there was no sound. Pics are good. Looking at the original clips still on my iphone, and there's no sound. I tried to record another video clip as a test and it has no sound. Is there a setting for sound which I am missing or is there something wrong with the microphone.

I have a problem with my new SGS2 and could not find anywhere a solution for this. When I record a video there is no sound recorded also, only the image... In the camera application there is no option for enable/disable this feature like in the SGS1.

When they enabled 720p recording video became choppy but the sound was kinda alright now after the current update all my videos are coming out like one of those kung fu movies, voice and lips are not in sync and the sound is crap.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI am having two problems with Nokia Camera on my Icon. When recording a video in Nokia Camera. I have found that it isn't recording sound.When recording a video in Nokia Camera, it takes about 5 seconds after hitting the record button for it to actually start recording.
I am not sure how to replicate the issue because it has only happened a few times and it will fix itself by restarting the phone.
When it does happen it will happen every time I record a video through Nokia Camera until a reboot. I at least now figured out that if I hit record and there is a delay between it actually starting to record, then the sound will not be recorded so a restart is necessary.
I can still record through the WP camera app and audio will be recorded, but this is a huge problem for me. I have about 5 videos that I have taken in the past week that were actually pretty important that have no sound now.
I uninstalled Nokia Camera and reinstalled and it still did it. Is this a Nokia Camera bug or an Icon bug?
When recording slow motion does it capture any audio?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI think one of those recent updates fixed the stuttering in video recording in loud environments. Last night I took the Icon to a RUSH concert and was very pleased with the results.
The hall was deafening, but the audio is surprisingly clear and not distorted as I feared it would be.
I used the 1440p/30fps setting. The video quality is a bit lower than 4k, but i think this setting is the best compromise. It's the highest setting that enables you to use the 4k tools for choosing a frame / action shot / etc. but also zooms in as far as the 720 or 1080 setting. I can't get the 2160 to zoom in far at all.

I can switch on the "Lumia Camera" app fine, and use the rotary symbols at the right to switch to video mode. However, quite frequently, pressing the video symbol will not start recording; the countdown will stay at 00:00. This only happens sometimes though. There's 20GB free so storage isn't the issue.
Other than pause and screen shot, any real way to get still frames out of the videos I take...

I travel to and fro my company by bus. The bus usually travels at 60kmph on an average. So due to road patches and connections, etc vibrations travel to the passenger.Does this constant travelling in the bus have any kind of damaging effect on the ball bearing system. Will the springs and vibration dampening capacity of the lens reduce over a period of time?
