The sound on my iphone video camera is not working. I have used it before and it was OK. I shot an hour's worth of clips during which I tested and heard the sound being recorded. When I went to upload it to my computer, there was no sound. Pics are good. Looking at the original clips still on my iphone, and there's no sound. I tried to record another video clip as a test and it has no sound. Is there a setting for sound which I am missing or is there something wrong with the microphone.

Having problems with the sound quality of their video recordings?I have a lot of background noise even in the quietest of rooms.I exchanged my Galaxy S5 after a week because everyone kept saying I sounded muffled and my voicemail sounded muffled too. Verizon swapped me into a new S5 and although the sound of my voice and voicemail are better, the video recording sounds are horrible. If the subject is talking it the background noise takes away from the voice. in a quiet room, still noise even though there is no fan or a/c going and windows are closed. I have enabled the noise reduction in the call sound setting.

This is 2015 and you think that users will accept mono audio even in 4k video.
Even my nokia N8 can record nice stereo.
I have a problem with my new SGS2 and could not find anywhere a solution for this. When I record a video there is no sound recorded also, only the image... In the camera application there is no option for enable/disable this feature like in the SGS1.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhile I was editing a video from my Lumia 1020 in Final Cut X, I found than phone recording audio only in right channel. Left channel source is totally quiet. When I try to record video via default WP Camera app, there is no sound at all. In Nokia Camera there is a sound, but only for right channel. I've tried hard reset, but with no success.
View 2 Replies View RelatedVideo Recording App that allows us to control the Volume Level being recorded? I did a test of a recording on a Dance Club last weekend (very loud of course) and while the Video itself was amazing, the sound really sucked because of the distortion.
View 3 Replies View RelatedUpdated my phone to 2.29.405.5 the other day and noticed that video recording has gone from atrocious to down right intolerable. When they enabled 720p recording video became choppy but the sound was kinda alright now after the current update all my videos are coming out like one of those kung fu movies, voice and lips are not in sync and the sound is crap.
View 1 Replies View Relatedreduce the audio recording level for video shoots?Cause if its just a little loud, the whole soundtrack gets distorted.Another nice one would be if we could get the noise cancellation mic thats next to the headphone plug to record a second audio track, making it stereo..
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe Screen Recording toolbar in Android 4.4.4 is really useful, but I would like to access it through the small apps bar. For instance, it is much easier to start the Screen shot function from the small app than through the power on/off button.
Â
In the same way, I request a small app to access the floating Screen Recorder toolbar, instead of through the Power on/off button.
If I receive a call during recording a video, the video gets lost. Can I change settings or is there any solution to save the video before accepting the call? Or is it simply a flaw in the software that the video is not saved automatically?

I have a Galaxy S6 edge on T-Mobile and juts noticed this morning that whenever I attempt to record a video I get a warning stating "The video codec is currently being used by other applications..."
Is it possible to determine which application has it in use? I've closed all running applications which didn't resolve the problem. Restarted the phone without starting any other applications before the camera and that failed. I'm not seeing any information about this issue in the couple of searches I've done so far but wonder if it's an isolated issue or something common.
Short of a Factory Reset, which I'm not fully opposed to doing, is there a potential solution?
i believe i found a bug with 3.1. videocamera pauses while video recording when a live paper is being used when wallpaper is just a picture than it works properly.

I was filming a video (ice bucket challenge)Â and I didn't interfere with the record button. But after the challenge was done, it froze (the buttons on the display weren't working) and I pressed the off button so it went back to the home button. It then took like a minute to process and the video appeared in photos but it only recorded 32 seconds and I need the remaining 30 seconds. Is there a way for me to get it back?

I'm getting married soon, and rather than hire a videographer to produce something we probably won't like anyway, we thought we'd go down the riskier route of asking friends and family to use their iPhones to record video on the day, and then editing all the results together ourselves.
The major stumbling block we're facing now is that most people's iPhones don't have enough free storage available to be used as video cameras for a day-long event. So I was wondering if there was any safe way to back up each iPhone (we're talking about half a dozen or so), temporarily reset it to clean out the storage, and then restore it later on after extracting the video. The questions I need answered are:
1) Can one Mac, running one instance of iTunes, be used to back up multiple iPhones, some of which are not even synced with that specific Mac?
2) Can I get large amounts of video off those iPhones without syncing and potentially over-writing previous back-ups? Is there a method of extracting video that doesn't involve iTunes (just as you can use Preview in OS X to get photos off the camera roll without opening iTunes, for example)?
3) Once the video has been taken off the phones, is it safe to assume that iTunes will happily restore each phone from its respective back-up?
