View 11 RepliesAs a normal Defy user running the official android 2.2, will there ever be an official 720p video recording feature?
View 3 Replies View Relatedthis week i updated my defy with froyo through local service center Nothing seems to be fine in Froyo! Here some of my issues list after update to froyo
1.)Unable to turn on data connections.(resolved after hard reset)
2.)Battery drains quickly.
3.)Heats up rapidly.
4.)Freezes often.
5.)No 720p video recording.
6.)Will reboot often if connected to PC.
I have had my Blackberry Pearl for some time and have been very impressed with it however I have never been able to shoot video as when I try it gives the message 'insert media card to enable video'. There was already a media card inserted and I have purchased a new media card in case the fault was with the media card, not the phone - however it is still saying that a media card needs to be inserted to enable video shooting. I have pressed > Options > Memory and it states 'a media card is not presently inserted in the device'.....when I have tried two different media cards.

View 24 Replies View Relatedi shot a video and uploaded it to Internet. it uploaded with 320p and 240p, but not 720p. i looked in the settings of the iphone and didn't see a settings option to make the video a specific quality.
View 11 Replies View Relatedlove my ip4 and i'm using it to shoot family home movies as one would expect, and using imovie to create 5 minute projects that are really enjoyable.i'd like to post these 720p hd movies online so family members can stream without them being downconverted and having their resolutions compromised.
i've tried Internet and it took 25 minutes to upload and the end result was a blurry mess of downconversion. is there a way to stream the pure hd i'm shooting? mobileme? Internet? some other solution for hosted hd streaming of short iphone 4 clips without a loss of resolution?
Just curious how much footage my iPhone is going to be able to hold?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo the concept of the video on iPhone 4 being 720p is great.I just wonder if people here can answer:
1.) how much space will 720p video take on the device? I'm taking a vacation on the 17th of july and I'd like this to replace a camcorder
2.) assuming I don't roam on the phone (said vacation is in philippines) then how much battery life will this kill assuming I don't render video on the device and just record and play back.
Can anyone with experience on how big these files are give an estimate how much video the new iPhone will hold at 720p, 30fps? Its the main reason I'm upgrading and just wanted to know if 32gig's held hours or minutes worth of video. I suspect the latter....

View 4 Replies View Relatedreduce the audio recording level for video shoots?Cause if its just a little loud, the whole soundtrack gets distorted.Another nice one would be if we could get the noise cancellation mic thats next to the headphone plug to record a second audio track, making it stereo..
View 4 Replies View RelatedIf I receive a call during recording a video, the video gets lost. Can I change settings or is there any solution to save the video before accepting the call? Or is it simply a flaw in the software that the video is not saved automatically?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince buying the phone (couple weeks ago), I haven't been able to steam any videos on HD (720P and above) without the video buffering numerous times. I streamed movies from Google Play Movies and Netflix. I don't know if the resolution is going down to allow me to stream the videos, but I'm getting very frustrated. My LTE is full, never had a problem in my area with other phones. It's hardly better on Wi-Fi

View 9 Replies View RelatedSo a little while ago, my company rolled out a security policy update over Activesync that (I am pretty sure) got rid of the 720P video option. They then killed Activesync support completely later the same day (Yeah, I know... why even roll the security policy?). Even after removing the Activesync acct, the video change has not reverted. Anyone know (hopefully short of a complete reinstall) of a way to completely revert Activesync security changes?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI dont understand why my xperia x10 doesn't have 720p recording with a camera that can take pictures at 8.1 mp and yet the ipod touch 4g with a camera less then 1mp can take 720p?I want my Xperia X10 to be the best it can possibly be NOW before it goes out of date. A ipod touch 4g with a camera can record 720p video with a 1mp cam..and yet my phone kills its in hardware can't record 720p? Its can't get 16m colors either . so disappointed in Sony....its bad enough that call quaility *****, and in-call volume blows, now a lesser tech records better than my phone....when the embarassment stop.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was going to try a faster class 10 SD first. I think class 6 should be the minimum for HD movies.
The quality and sound is superb, but it's just slightly out of sync. The video is about 14 minutes in length and is 1.10GB in size. On playback on the phone, it sometimes stutters (like the music stutter) and drops frames, but watch it from a computer with the file still on the SD card, and it plays flawlessly. I know the Tegra 2 is capable of 1080p encoding/decoding, so it should have no issues with 720p. What did Motorola do to this thing?
In the video settings it is impossible to activate the audio recording. All other settings can be enabled / disabled but the audio recording can be activated. You can click on the parameter, it is not frozen, but the option enabled will not activate.X7 model cell received September 30, 2011. I tried to reinstall the software, but this has not fixed the problem. No update is available either for the software. Is this a isolated issue where I must return the unit to exchange it while I'm in my 30 days of rembourssement or X7 offers HD recording without sound?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S6 edge on T-Mobile and juts noticed this morning that whenever I attempt to record a video I get a warning stating "The video codec is currently being used by other applications..."
Is it possible to determine which application has it in use? I've closed all running applications which didn't resolve the problem. Restarted the phone without starting any other applications before the camera and that failed. I'm not seeing any information about this issue in the couple of searches I've done so far but wonder if it's an isolated issue or something common.
Short of a Factory Reset, which I'm not fully opposed to doing, is there a potential solution?
i believe i found a bug with 3.1. videocamera pauses while video recording when a live paper is being used when wallpaper is just a picture than it works properly.
