View 6 Replies View RelatedI was going to try a faster class 10 SD first. I think class 6 should be the minimum for HD movies.
The quality and sound is superb, but it's just slightly out of sync. The video is about 14 minutes in length and is 1.10GB in size. On playback on the phone, it sometimes stutters (like the music stutter) and drops frames, but watch it from a computer with the file still on the SD card, and it plays flawlessly. I know the Tegra 2 is capable of 1080p encoding/decoding, so it should have no issues with 720p. What did Motorola do to this thing?
My device is playing videos on YouTube, Google, Facebook, etc in 720p and not 1080. The quality is far inferior in this regard to my four year old HTC inspire. How can I change this to meet the requirements of the phone, with or without replacement.
View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen ever i try to play 720p hd videos on my xperia active running ics 4.04 i get the error message "sorry, this video cannot be played"..and after this i wont be able to play any videos till i turn my phone on again..and then for few minutes it plays smoothly and again it stops with that message..but in gb i never faced any such issues with the same videos i think it may be due to phones gallery app..so i opened those videos in MX player but there the video plays in S/W decoder mode and i cant change it to H/W decoder mode because H/W decoder mode isnt available u can see that in the below screen shots.but after restarting everything will be ok ..i formated my memory card but still the same ..only modification i made was that i rooted my phone.screen shot when i opened 720p video in MX player(before restarting)screen shot when i opened the same video in MX player(after restarting)Error message while opening in default gallery app?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI dont understand why my xperia x10 doesn't have 720p recording with a camera that can take pictures at 8.1 mp and yet the ipod touch 4g with a camera less then 1mp can take 720p?I want my Xperia X10 to be the best it can possibly be NOW before it goes out of date. A ipod touch 4g with a camera can record 720p video with a 1mp cam..and yet my phone kills its in hardware can't record 720p? Its can't get 16m colors either . so disappointed in Sony....its bad enough that call quaility *****, and in-call volume blows, now a lesser tech records better than my phone....when the embarassment stop.
View 6 Replies View RelatedFirst of all i am a loyal galaxy fan since the s1.. but the recent lag i been getting is unbearable. Whenever an app updates in the background. ... the phone lags like hell. Switching between i have to wait at least 30 seconds. The keyboard lags. This should not happen on the "fastest phone out". It will lag the same way on my s5 in the same situation. I have alrady tried a factory reset, and wipe cache and i shouldnt eveb have to do that on a 2015 flagship phone to prevent lag. I mean the phone is blazing fast but its only sometimes
Another annoyance is that whenever i have my headphones on listening to music. The volume will lower and mute all by itself, the phone will start to vibrate and Google Now will launch by itselt. And once again the same thing happened on my s5
This is unnaceptable for me to have to go through this but I'm still in love with my galaxy s6 edge!
I tried playing a sample in my galaxy s2 that i just got. I was surprised to see that there was no audio on it. The video is awsome. There is no audio on speaker or on headset or with a 5.1 head set. get the audio on hd files.
I know that the video recording is 1080p.

View 24 Replies View Relatedi shot a video and uploaded it to Internet. it uploaded with 320p and 240p, but not 720p. i looked in the settings of the iphone and didn't see a settings option to make the video a specific quality.
View 11 Replies View Relatedlove my ip4 and i'm using it to shoot family home movies as one would expect, and using imovie to create 5 minute projects that are really enjoyable.i'd like to post these 720p hd movies online so family members can stream without them being downconverted and having their resolutions compromised.
i've tried Internet and it took 25 minutes to upload and the end result was a blurry mess of downconversion. is there a way to stream the pure hd i'm shooting? mobileme? Internet? some other solution for hosted hd streaming of short iphone 4 clips without a loss of resolution?
Just curious how much footage my iPhone is going to be able to hold?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo the concept of the video on iPhone 4 being 720p is great.I just wonder if people here can answer:
1.) how much space will 720p video take on the device? I'm taking a vacation on the 17th of july and I'd like this to replace a camcorder
2.) assuming I don't roam on the phone (said vacation is in philippines) then how much battery life will this kill assuming I don't render video on the device and just record and play back.
Can anyone with experience on how big these files are give an estimate how much video the new iPhone will hold at 720p, 30fps? Its the main reason I'm upgrading and just wanted to know if 32gig's held hours or minutes worth of video. I suspect the latter....

View 4 Replies View Related[n79, latest firmware, 16 or 32 GB memory card]When I capture video to the memory card, I periodically get stutters or lags, typically during which the video capture appears to freeze. The sound recording sometimes continues in time, sometimes also breaks for a fraction of second. I have already backed up the card to a PC and reformatted the card in the phone (assuming that the phone would set up the card in a manner best suited to the device). The problem persists, although slightly less often.
Would it have been better to reformat the cards on a PC? If so, better to use a 16kb or 32kb "allocation unit size"? Neither of my cards as more than 1/3 full, so there is plenty of space. I am recording video at the phone's best quality, which is 640x480, 30 fps, and a typical bitrate seems to be about .5 MB per second. I checked out both cards using the utilty "Flash Memory Toolkit", and the minimum data file write rates seem to be about 6-10 MB per second (often 10 MB), so I don't think that the bottleneck is the card itself. Perhaps the drivers used to write to the card memory on the phone are not as efficient as they should be. Or maybe for some reason I have to stick with an 8 GB card or smaller?
Is there no 720p video recording option? I only see HD 1080p as the lowest option. The video size created is too big.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSince buying the phone (couple weeks ago), I haven't been able to steam any videos on HD (720P and above) without the video buffering numerous times. I streamed movies from Google Play Movies and Netflix. I don't know if the resolution is going down to allow me to stream the videos, but I'm getting very frustrated. My LTE is full, never had a problem in my area with other phones. It's hardly better on Wi-Fi
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo a little while ago, my company rolled out a security policy update over Activesync that (I am pretty sure) got rid of the 720P video option. They then killed Activesync support completely later the same day (Yeah, I know... why even roll the security policy?). Even after removing the Activesync acct, the video change has not reverted. Anyone know (hopefully short of a complete reinstall) of a way to completely revert Activesync security changes?

I have just purchased a Z3 after upgrading from a Z1. When recording a video the audio follows around 2-3 seconds after the image. I have tried on my z1 but there is no lag as there is on the z3.

how to avoid this launching Gallery performance issue
After 1 minute recording I'm having a lag of 2 or 3 seconds with audio of my videos, doesn't Matter the resolution that I use.
View 6 Replies View RelatedJust bought a z3 and I've been having some strange issues. For example if I play a YouTube video it loads fine, it starts to play but about 10 secs in the screen freezes yet the audio continues. Other issues also occur when I try to skip parts of a video it just refuses to load. Its occurring throughout all videos on all formats no matter if I go through a browser. Have also tried WiFi versus data no difference.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince I've installed ICS on my Ray (a month ago I finally got the update) I found out that my videos (taken on ICS) are with mono audio (comapring the audio quality with those videos that I've made on 2.3). There's a solution here on the forum, but It needs root (so I have almost 1 and half year of warranity and I don't want to avoid it in any way), so If Sony are going to make some update soon to fix this.. And who was those brilliant mind/s to decied to make the audio of video recording mono, instead of briliant stereo sound on 2.3?
P.S I don't want to make a downgrade to 2.3,It's not my fault that Sony are make such horrible update....
