I have just purchased a Z3 after upgrading from a Z1. When recording a video the audio follows around 2-3 seconds after the image. I have tried on my z1 but there is no lag as there is on the z3.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSince I've installed ICS on my Ray (a month ago I finally got the update) I found out that my videos (taken on ICS) are with mono audio (comapring the audio quality with those videos that I've made on 2.3). There's a solution here on the forum, but It needs root (so I have almost 1 and half year of warranity and I don't want to avoid it in any way), so If Sony are going to make some update soon to fix this.. And who was those brilliant mind/s to decied to make the audio of video recording mono, instead of briliant stereo sound on 2.3?
P.S I don't want to make a downgrade to 2.3,It's not my fault that Sony are make such horrible update....
reduce the audio recording level for video shoots?Cause if its just a little loud, the whole soundtrack gets distorted.Another nice one would be if we could get the noise cancellation mic thats next to the headphone plug to record a second audio track, making it stereo..
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just got myself the Bold 9700. Ive managed to load movies into it and they work fine except one minor glitch. Now the pic quality is brilliant and there is audio too but the only problem is that there is a few seconds delay between the audio or the dialogue and the actual scene. The audio is 1 or 2 seconds later than the actual scene.
Also when i first loaded video files into the phone and i played the file for the first time i got an option "optimize screen for playback" Upon selecting this option the video got into full screen mode but now i just do not get this option and the videos r really very small so i'am using a software where i have to increase the resolution that fits into the screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to record video. I'm getting some nice image quality, but almost no sound. The audio is extremely muffled. I have my playback volume as high as it will go, and still can just barely hear anything. I can use Tango and make phone calls just fine, so it seems that my mic is working. The only time I've noticed the problem is when I'm trying to record a video. Even if the person I'm recording is standing right in front of my and speaking in a loud, clear voice, I can't hear much in the recorded video.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am having two problems with Nokia Camera on my Icon. When recording a video in Nokia Camera. I have found that it isn't recording sound.When recording a video in Nokia Camera, it takes about 5 seconds after hitting the record button for it to actually start recording.
I am not sure how to replicate the issue because it has only happened a few times and it will fix itself by restarting the phone.
When it does happen it will happen every time I record a video through Nokia Camera until a reboot. I at least now figured out that if I hit record and there is a delay between it actually starting to record, then the sound will not be recorded so a restart is necessary.
I can still record through the WP camera app and audio will be recorded, but this is a huge problem for me. I have about 5 videos that I have taken in the past week that were actually pretty important that have no sound now.
I uninstalled Nokia Camera and reinstalled and it still did it. Is this a Nokia Camera bug or an Icon bug?
When recording slow motion does it capture any audio?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI can only asume these 2 issues are somehow linked, when I try to watch a video on Facebook I get an error "the video cannot be played, an unknown error occured, if I open the same video in youtube, I just get a black screen, a reboot will fix it for a little while but not long, when I get the error, it will not let me record video with the camera either, just says camera is not available as soon as I hit record, mines a z2 and the problem only started since the lollipop update, if I reboot, I can watch videos and record video, after a while both errors return, its getting very annoying.

I've had several videos on my SK17i ruined because a warning popped up that there was only 10% of 5% left of the power in the battery. This warning immediately stops the video recording, while there is more than enough power left to finish what I wanted to record (a band's performance). This is very annoying. Is there a way to turn off this pop-up?
View 4 Replies View RelatedThere is a delay (~300ms) in the incoming audio stream when using the built-in sip client. i've spent days figuring out its cause. tried with a local sip registrar ([e72] [linksys spa921], both on the same lan) but the latency is the same. pings to the phone are in the 20ms range, so this couldn't be the source of the delay. i've played around with the codecs (g711, g729) and jitter buffer settings, and it didn't help either. my conclusion was that it must be the nokia sip stack which introduces the latency. then i installed fring and nimbuzz (i think they have a proprietary sip ipmlementation), same latency again... at last i wrote a simple j2me ping-like application to test the socket connection performance to my pc, and all the packets arrived in <30ms.
do you have any ideas? btw, does anybody know if the engineers at nokia were smart enough making it possible to focus the camera when the optical navi key is disable.

It now records in 16/9 instead of 4/3 (Letter box) and I would be glad it would work fine but since then, videos are not recorded correctly. Image is not continuous, but it shifts randomly as it wouldn't be able to record without stopping. That gives poorer videos than with previous version. Other problem I have is that welcoming message is displayed twice when phone is starting.
