I recently Upgrade my phone to ICS.after upgrading these problems appear on my phone: video recording in my phone have lags,sound on video recording change to mono and have lags,notification LED does not work when a message come and default resolution of photo camera is 3 MP and after switch to 5MP, photo quality decrease strongly.
View 2 RepliesRecently my Nokia E72 has begun to lag after about 8 seconds after starting the recording. After I finish record (with the lag) my processed video will jitter and pixelate where the lag spikes occured during recording. This was not a problem until after I updated to the latest firmware a few weeks ago. I have looked everywhere online for a solution and have decided here might bring some possible solutions. Is there any way to try and fix this without downgrading the firmware?

This warning immediately stops the video recording, while there is more than enough power left to finish what I wanted to record (a band's performance). This is very annoying. Is there a way to turn off this pop-up?

View 2 Replies View RelatedHere I wish to post the problems I have been experiencing after I bought Nokia 5800, maybe, someone even has a magical solution for any of them.I own it since last year's November and I've spent more time re-inserting the battery and restarting it than actually using it, so I guess I sort of regret buying this smart piece of **bleep**.
So here's the list.. (any help, tips and fixes highly appreciated. Thank you!)
The video recorder often spoils the video with lags (which are file-written).An incoming call often cannot be picked up (nothing happens, it just rings. no key response)
Often the envelope symbol for new messages remains even if all messages read.The alarm clock has failed to wake me up 3 times because of the phone hanging up, and 2 more times just because of not ringing. (This is the worst part because I can't rely on this phone. What if I'm taking an important exam tomorrow? Hanging alarm clock is not an excuse, so I'm going back to the 20th century with a green-light alarm clock besides my bed, lol.)The screen rotation is so bad. I takes 5 seconds to turn the screen and often it gets confused whether to turn right or left.
If I install a new theme and set it as default (even if it's in Phone Memory), the chance of any of these bugs occuring multiplies twice.Often starting the menu or dialler pad causes the phone to hang up and nothing happens, can't even turn it off with the button. I have to reinsert the battery.The web browser often disappears without warning. A crash I guess. This **bleep** me off.The e-mail client causes problems when I set up a mailbox. What's the point of it if I can still use e-mail after uninstalling that Nokia E-mail afterwards. weird...Accessing Settings is risky, because it often hangs up and does nothing..
The media player once was unable to get rid of already deleted files. FoRtUnAtElY I found a fix (was i supposed to do that? No!).Once I couldn't access the installed application list, no matter what. Had to do a hard reset.And many more of these Sadly I knew what to expect when I was about to buy it, because I had experience with Symbian phones. In terms of reliability and satisfaction they haven't changed a bit since the first ones.
In the camera app the maximum resolution is Full HD with 60fps. How can I record 4K Videos?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI can only asume these 2 issues are somehow linked, when I try to watch a video on Facebook I get an error "the video cannot be played, an unknown error occured, if I open the same video in youtube, I just get a black screen, a reboot will fix it for a little while but not long, when I get the error, it will not let me record video with the camera either, just says camera is not available as soon as I hit record, mines a z2 and the problem only started since the lollipop update, if I reboot, I can watch videos and record video, after a while both errors return, its getting very annoying.

Since I've installed ICS on my Ray (a month ago I finally got the update) I found out that my videos (taken on ICS) are with mono audio (comapring the audio quality with those videos that I've made on 2.3). There's a solution here on the forum, but It needs root (so I have almost 1 and half year of warranity and I don't want to avoid it in any way), so If Sony are going to make some update soon to fix this.. And who was those brilliant mind/s to decied to make the audio of video recording mono, instead of briliant stereo sound on 2.3?
P.S I don't want to make a downgrade to 2.3,It's not my fault that Sony are make such horrible update....

It now records in 16/9 instead of 4/3 (Letter box) and I would be glad it would work fine but since then, videos are not recorded correctly. Image is not continuous, but it shifts randomly as it wouldn't be able to record without stopping. That gives poorer videos than with previous version. Other problem I have is that welcoming message is displayed twice when phone is starting.

This problem only occurs when I have the microSD card in the phone because when I take it out and record a video, the video is smooth and does not lag. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S6 edge on T-Mobile and juts noticed this morning that whenever I attempt to record a video I get a warning stating "The video codec is currently being used by other applications..."
Is it possible to determine which application has it in use? I've closed all running applications which didn't resolve the problem. Restarted the phone without starting any other applications before the camera and that failed. I'm not seeing any information about this issue in the couple of searches I've done so far but wonder if it's an isolated issue or something common.
Short of a Factory Reset, which I'm not fully opposed to doing, is there a potential solution?
If I receive a call during recording a video, the video gets lost. Can I change settings or is there any solution to save the video before accepting the call? Or is it simply a flaw in the software that the video is not saved automatically?
