Experiancing some minor lags while playing games (like temple run) ,and other games just shut down after 1 minute (like N.O.V.A) all of these problems came after ics update.

It's awfully annoying, because whenever I connect my phone to my computer (for my android app development, or just to charge the phone), the Games by Popcap service starts to eat 100% of the phones CPU power and continues to do so until forced to close. Unfortuntely the phone's preconfiguration restarts the application, although it won't misbehave until next connection.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have got a new 16 gb sd card. I copied the apps from the existing 2 gb sd card to phone memory. I put the 16 gb card in and copied the apps from phone to this new card. while all other apps are working, none of the three preinstalled popcap games are working with the new sd card. They work fine when I reinsert the old card. Anyone knows how I can make the games work on the new card, without rooting?

A friend suggested that it may just need updating, which made sense because I'd been getting update notifications, just hadn't got round to hooking my ohone up to my laptop. So I did just that and installed the 'companion' but when I try to update, it's asking me to insert a memory card. I've never taken it out! Not once. So i've turned the phone off and on again, as you do.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust wanted to share my experience. I did the update on November 8. I didn't bother to do the backup. The only real important is the contacts and Google have them already. I used the Update Service tool and it worked like a charm. After restarting the phone I had to go through the setup wizard, which by the way is much improved. I now realized that I had lost all my downloaded applications. I downloaded them again from market. Most of them had all the old data, nice. Some games lost all history, no big deal really. My contacts, mail and calendar was downloaded from Google.
I realy like the fact that it is possible to send contacts by SMS. The images from facebook also works very well.
The one thing that I am still not used to is the unlooking. The habbit of pressing the menu button twice is had to kick. I think the new way with the slider is somewhat safer.Now I am waiting 2.2 with tethering. I hope this will be available for X10 mini some time in the future.
I have a strange problem with my Z2 6503 android 5.1.1 ,While I'm using internet and the network coverage is EDGE my screen touch go crazy and lags then it stop response, so I manualy set the network to WCDMA to avoid such problem, How can i fix this issue ?

But i observed the gentle swipe now takes the unlock icon only upto middle and its not so fast....its lagging a lot....So is there any thing i can do ? Is there anywhere i can set the touch sensitivity? its very irritating when the phone wont get unlocked with a gentle swipe...
I did not updated to ICS.Still running GB.
After update to lollipop sms chat lags to open and lags while scrolling. At kitkat android version, everything was smooth even with much more sms in chat. Â

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my mini pro to ICS, it works fine in the first few moments until I realized that my phone can't:
1. Show any album art/cover from the music player. I've tried using the Sony Media Go to add the album arts to the file properties, still it didn't work. Only the 'default' songs from the product i.e brett5000: Globalization, missquerada: Far from love, and 2 others, can display their album cover
2. Update songs. Any new songs that I put into my phone through Sony Media Go aren't shown in the music player, only the old ones are present (though I've deleted it). I found the files when I opened it using a file manager program from the Play Store, but when I played it, none of its properties are present except the title of the song itself. It's not even present in the music player
How do I prevent Update Manager showing me recent the firmware update? My device is working fine at the moment and there is no reason to change this.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI received a message on my XPeria Mini Pro about the 4.1.B.0.587 Update. In fact, I can not install it. When I start the PC Companion software, it finds the connected Phone. Then I click on update. In the following window I click "Accept" and then the software should prepare the PC for the update. But after one second it stops and returns to Start without any comment. When I start Sony Mobile Update Service then it checks for new updates. As soon as the check is over, the program terminates without any comment. Is there a third way to upgrade?

2 nights ago I opened up my sons Nexus 5 and changed the battery. I replaced it with a oem replacement that I found on Amazon. I put the phone back together and everything works fine, but he is suffering from random shutdowns. He says that he plays his phone throughout the day and every now and then when he pulls his phone out of his pocket it has powered off. He has to hold down the power button to restart the phone. Do I need to take the phone back apart?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've owned my Motorola Triumph for the past month. While I have been pretty happy with it, I have been having SD card reader issues over the past couple of weeks. My phone will suddenly stop recognizing my SD Card (a Topram 32 gb). I'll put the card in my computer and it reads it just fine. Also, if I put a different card in my phone it will also refuse to read that card as well. I have powered down, pulled the battery, etc. I did do one hard reset once which took care of the problem, but seems to be happening every 2-3 days now. It will eventually recognize the card after several shut downs, but this is proving very frustrating as there is not pattern or specific cause to this. I'm not sure if this is a hardware or a firmware issue.
