I have a strange problem with my Z2 6503 android 5.1.1 ,While I'm using internet and the network coverage is EDGE my screen touch go crazy and lags then it stop response, so I manualy set the network to WCDMA to avoid such problem, How can i fix this issue ?
View 1 RepliesFrom yesterday i observed my home screen unlock button lags. Usually a gentle swipe will unlock the scree. But i observed the gentle swipe now takes the unlock icon only upto middle and its not so fast....its lagging a lot....So is there any thing i can do ? Is there anywhere i can set the touch sensitivity? its very irritating when the phone wont get unlocked with a gentle swipe...
I did not updated to ICS.Still running GB.
A couple of times now I've had this problem where I go to use my phone or read a new text that has come through and when I go to enter my 4 digit pin the screen is not responding & I have this blue horizontal line that moves down from the top of the screen continuously like its doing some sort of scan over the phone. I have no way to stop this or to have the ability to enter my 4 digit pin for accessing my phone.
Eventually I give up trying to enter my pin & put my phone down for hours. When I come back to try again twice now I've been able to use my phone like normal and the issue seems to have gone away but other times this still remains for a longer time then randomly starts to work as normal. I've forced my phone to turn off & or reboot but this still isn't fixing the problem. I haven't been able to access my phone for over 10 hours and I have miss calls & messages that people have sent me but unable to get past my 4 digit pin to read them.

I'm wondering if it's normal (new phone software bugs) or if my phone has a hardware problem. I hate to return devices. so if it's just a software bug and others are experiencing it, I'm OK with that. I did a search and nothing came up, and I haven't seen it mentioned in any review.
I'm pulling my hair out every time I use this phone. I have heard you can adjust the touch screen to make it less sensitive, but I've got no idea how to do it!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a little problem, if we can consider this a problem. When i receave a SMS from a friend X, my Blackberry lag (the screen doesn't change, for like 0.5 sec). But when I receave a SMS from let's say Y, it can take up to 5 to 10 seconds before the screen move or I can move with the track pad to see the message. It's annoying.
So here is what I think, Is this because.. :
- I have over 35 000 SMS in the DB ?
- I have like 100 SMS from X and 5000 from Y ?
- My phone is on the vibrator but for Y he has a music ?
- Is this OS 5 ? But he is faster then OS 4 and I updated a while ago ?

GF facebooked messaged me last night after I tried to ring her, saying that since our last call, her phone had seemed frozen and wasn't responding to her touch. It was on the locked screen and she couldn't get it to work. Physical buttons worked ok.I got her to reboot to reinstall through SU, but not joy. So, what's likely to be wrong with it that suddenly, the whole screen goes pop?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V (MT11). I locked the screen using the Power button of the phone. I have set a password for unlocking my phone. Now, when i press the "Home" key of the phone, the screen comes alive with keypad for punching-in the password but the touchscreen is not responding so i am not able to punch-in the password. I am getting calls on my cell phone but i cannot receive the calls since I cannot slide the "green" button on screen to right (which is the usual way to receive the calls). Could you guys please help me make my phone screen responsive again. This is a brand new phone, just a couple of days old and no apps installed other than loaded by the Company itself.

However, on the bigger time and date that "floats" on the touch screen it is still reading 9:43am with yesterday's date which is the 29th of sept. Then when i want to change my phone setting to either vibrate or silent....again, the smaller notification is correct but the big setting that "floats" on screen keeps telling me its on vibrate when i try to change it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIn the past couple of days, I am having trouble with the touchscreen on my Neo V. It does not respond as well as it did before. For instance, the slide unlock takes 3 times to slide before actually unlocking. The upper notifications bar does not get pulled down easily. And while scrolling, I end up opening something appearing on the screen wherever the finger is touching while scrolling. All this did not happen before. I performed a system test as well, which does not really show any problem with the touchscreen. Restarting the phone did not help either. What could be the issue then?

Tried all of the usual things, recharging, leaving the battery out etc. In the end I used the repair tool which installed ICS, and that actually worked for about two days, but the same problem just came back.
