View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to record video. I'm getting some nice image quality, but almost no sound. The audio is extremely muffled. I have my playback volume as high as it will go, and still can just barely hear anything. I can use Tango and make phone calls just fine, so it seems that my mic is working. The only time I've noticed the problem is when I'm trying to record a video. Even if the person I'm recording is standing right in front of my and speaking in a loud, clear voice, I can't hear much in the recorded video.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSince I've installed ICS on my Ray (a month ago I finally got the update) I found out that my videos (taken on ICS) are with mono audio (comapring the audio quality with those videos that I've made on 2.3). There's a solution here on the forum, but It needs root (so I have almost 1 and half year of warranity and I don't want to avoid it in any way), so If Sony are going to make some update soon to fix this.. And who was those brilliant mind/s to decied to make the audio of video recording mono, instead of briliant stereo sound on 2.3?
P.S I don't want to make a downgrade to 2.3,It's not my fault that Sony are make such horrible update....
I am having two problems with Nokia Camera on my Icon. When recording a video in Nokia Camera. I have found that it isn't recording sound.When recording a video in Nokia Camera, it takes about 5 seconds after hitting the record button for it to actually start recording.
I am not sure how to replicate the issue because it has only happened a few times and it will fix itself by restarting the phone.
When it does happen it will happen every time I record a video through Nokia Camera until a reboot. I at least now figured out that if I hit record and there is a delay between it actually starting to record, then the sound will not be recorded so a restart is necessary.
I can still record through the WP camera app and audio will be recorded, but this is a huge problem for me. I have about 5 videos that I have taken in the past week that were actually pretty important that have no sound now.
I uninstalled Nokia Camera and reinstalled and it still did it. Is this a Nokia Camera bug or an Icon bug?
When recording slow motion does it capture any audio?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new Motorola RAZR on the Rogers network.I'm having a real tough time recording any video with it.I've tried several different recordings (primarily of the kids playing hockey in the arena), and I can only get a few seconds to a minute or so before it freezes. After viewing the playback, it looks as if the audio is still being recorded, however the video image freezes. Then it kicks me out and back to the home screen.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm having a big problem recording video with the Motorola DROID RAZR.I can record about 1-2 minuts and then it freezes.I notice that is seems some audio is still being recorded (as I can hear it on the playback), but the video just locks up.Also, I notice that it boots me out of the camera and back to the home screen.I've tried recording when saving to the micro-card or internal. Both ways are still ineffective.Also, I've noticed that sometimes, when call are coming in, the screen is unresponsive and cannot pick-up the call. I'm not sure if this is related, but I thought I would mention here anyway.

The first video I tried to take was laggy during the recording, and playback was at a seemingly 1.5x speed and was glitchy. I recieved advice to uninstall Flash 10.3, and while shorter videos would record and play back okay, I still get some issues such as the phone rebooting while trying to navigate the gallery.

Only if disable encryption is 1280x720 an option. 1280x720 worked fine with encrpytion under froyo - why did this change and how quickly can this serious bug be fixed?
This is a serious flaw that significantly disables advertised features that worked when I purchased the phone.
As a normal Defy user running the official android 2.2, will there ever be an official 720p video recording feature?

I couldnt really find any good explanation over the web. i can only hear it after ive recorded the video and ive tested it in a quiet room with no interference but its still there in the background.

1.)Unable to turn on data connections.(resolved after hard reset)
2.)Battery drains quickly.
3.)Heats up rapidly.
4.)Freezes often.
5.)No 720p video recording.
6.)Will reboot often if connected to PC.
It seems that the left audio channel likes to drop out at random intervals. At first I thought it might have to do with notifications but I have also observed it without any notifications.
This happens regardless of the music application (actually, I can only confirm for Amazon MP3 and Music Beta since I have not played the others long enough). When this happens, I pause, unplug for a few seconds, then plug and resume playback to get the fidelity back.
Corporate sync (encryption) disables 1080p video recording. ALL HD video. I started to setup my Zimbra activesync connection using the Moto Corporate Sync and get an informational message. The choice is OK only, and the only way to get 1080p video recording is to Factory Reset.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI use a Bluetooth headset (Best Buy brand) when watching videos on my Xoom WiFi. However, the sound is nearly a second behind the video. I have the same problem when using the bluetooth headphones with my HP notebook. I understand that Bluetooth requires a lot more processing than hard-wired headphones. However, a fast processor such as the one in the Xoom should have negligible processing delay. I suppose the headphones could contribute most of the delay, but I still find it hard to accept that delay should be so long. I use digital hearing aids that have a 32 channel digital filter. The hearing instruments have to first do an A to D conversion, then process the audio and convert it back to Analog before sending the signal to the output transducer. Yet the delay through the hearing aids is negligible. Why is the delay so long through bluetooth or are the Best Buy headphones just crap? I really like using wireless headphones. Wired headphones are always getting tangled or I forget about the wires and walk away from my notebook and either yank the headphones off my head or come very close to dragging the notebook onto the floor.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S6 edge on T-Mobile and juts noticed this morning that whenever I attempt to record a video I get a warning stating "The video codec is currently being used by other applications..."
Is it possible to determine which application has it in use? I've closed all running applications which didn't resolve the problem. Restarted the phone without starting any other applications before the camera and that failed. I'm not seeing any information about this issue in the couple of searches I've done so far but wonder if it's an isolated issue or something common.
Short of a Factory Reset, which I'm not fully opposed to doing, is there a potential solution?
If I receive a call during recording a video, the video gets lost. Can I change settings or is there any solution to save the video before accepting the call? Or is it simply a flaw in the software that the video is not saved automatically?

Came from LG G4 that didn't have these issues with the same apps.
Sometimes the audio will work fine (notice this more when I'm on WiFi) but sometimes, in all apps (snapchat, facebook, regular gallery view) the video will play but the audio will cut in and out.
Not sure what it is. Phone is rooted (systemless) and is running the EX Kernel. I didn't mess with the audio settings in the EX Manager...
This is a huge issue for me as I spend a lot of time on Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube (I'm a vlogger, etc.).
Well the good news is I demuxed the files that were choppy and the video plays 100% fine with NO audio. So its an audio issue.

The Sirius XM online android app can be sideloaded, but won't successfully run, requiring use ot the browser-based player.The interface is awful, but functions. The browser changes audio source to the current foreground tab, or stops audio after task switching.Would like to be able to run it in the background until SXM releases a tablet-compatible app.

The problem is not interference between the two).When I pair my S10-HD set to my laptop (Acer TimelineX, Windows 7 64-bit, Broadcomm Bluetooth 3.0 USB driver 6.3.0.5900, Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator6.1.7600.16805), I have two options: 1) With Audio Sink disabled in Services (device>properties>services tab) I get great audio, but it cuts out continually (sound goes off and on) AND it is out of sync with video (in all video programs... Windows Media Player, VLC, and Silverlight); or 2) It is in sync, but is horrible sound (muffled volume, awful constant static).
This is what I have tried: All combinations of services, allow and disallow bluetooth devices to find this computer, clearing pairs and re-pairing over and over and disconnecting reconnecting and closing applications rebooting and closing and relaunching applications (all combinations for all tried scenarios), turning off ALL wireless devices in the house, never S9's and S10's on same machine, and I've tried every combination of button pressing on the headset. Bluetooth is set as the default playback device. The headset pairs perfectly with my iPhone 4 (the phone was not on during pairing or when experiencing the problem).
