have an XT530 , runs 2.3.4.The default camera app , does not record video , when i switch to video mode and touch the record button a mesage "Cannot record video now" is displayed.Have i got a faulty piece or is video recording not available for this motorola phon

View 9 Replies View Relatedi have a motorola fire xt 311 which after purchased developed touch problem and the service center got the touch changed. after it for few months the same was working fine, when i had to do a factory reset as the dialer app was not working and i could not see any contacts in the dialer.now as i was trying to set one of the pics i had taken as wall paper, did all that is needed, and was in the home screen waiting for the old one to change - nothin happened for about 20 sec and suddenl;y i got a call. answered it and after a while the phones get restarted automatically.after that when the same got restarted the patter lock screen came up and the touch was not working and i could not go in. how ever when a call come, u get a warnmning that the process "moto switch home" is not working, whether u need to force close oe wait. i gave force close and then the incoming call appears on screen and u can take the call(touch works for this alone). while in the call no other button responds.the sadest part is i got my colleague also to buy this phone and once he got his main borad as well as touch replaced, but this did not solve the issue, they are getting his phone replaced.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a new Motorola RAZR on the Rogers network.I'm having a real tough time recording any video with it.I've tried several different recordings (primarily of the kids playing hockey in the arena), and I can only get a few seconds to a minute or so before it freezes. After viewing the playback, it looks as if the audio is still being recorded, however the video image freezes. Then it kicks me out and back to the home screen.

I'm having a big problem recording video with the Motorola DROID RAZR.I can record about 1-2 minuts and then it freezes.I notice that is seems some audio is still being recorded (as I can hear it on the playback), but the video just locks up.Also, I notice that it boots me out of the camera and back to the home screen.I've tried recording when saving to the micro-card or internal. Both ways are still ineffective.Also, I've noticed that sometimes, when call are coming in, the screen is unresponsive and cannot pick-up the call. I'm not sure if this is related, but I thought I would mention here anyway.

I have my playback volume as high as it will go, and still can just barely hear anything. I can use Tango and make phone calls just fine, so it seems that my mic is working. The only time I've noticed the problem is when I'm trying to record a video. Even if the person I'm recording is standing right in front of my and speaking in a loud, clear voice, I can't hear much in the recorded video.

The first video I tried to take was laggy during the recording, and playback was at a seemingly 1.5x speed and was glitchy. I recieved advice to uninstall Flash 10.3, and while shorter videos would record and play back okay, I still get some issues such as the phone rebooting while trying to navigate the gallery.

Only if disable encryption is 1280x720 an option. 1280x720 worked fine with encrpytion under froyo - why did this change and how quickly can this serious bug be fixed?
This is a serious flaw that significantly disables advertised features that worked when I purchased the phone.
As a normal Defy user running the official android 2.2, will there ever be an official 720p video recording feature?

1.)Unable to turn on data connections.(resolved after hard reset)
2.)Battery drains quickly.
3.)Heats up rapidly.
4.)Freezes often.
5.)No 720p video recording.
6.)Will reboot often if connected to PC.
Corporate sync (encryption) disables 1080p video recording. ALL HD video. I started to setup my Zimbra activesync connection using the Moto Corporate Sync and get an informational message. The choice is OK only, and the only way to get 1080p video recording is to Factory Reset.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S6 edge on T-Mobile and juts noticed this morning that whenever I attempt to record a video I get a warning stating "The video codec is currently being used by other applications..."
Is it possible to determine which application has it in use? I've closed all running applications which didn't resolve the problem. Restarted the phone without starting any other applications before the camera and that failed. I'm not seeing any information about this issue in the couple of searches I've done so far but wonder if it's an isolated issue or something common.
Short of a Factory Reset, which I'm not fully opposed to doing, is there a potential solution?
If I receive a call during recording a video, the video gets lost. Can I change settings or is there any solution to save the video before accepting the call? Or is it simply a flaw in the software that the video is not saved automatically?

The Power button does not work, when I plug the phone in the wall charger it does not power up and only the backlit of soft buttons is on with no other reaction. Plugging the phone to PC's USB does the same thing. Tried removing battery, SIM and memory card. Every time the result is the same.
