View 3 Repliesthis week i updated my defy with froyo through local service center Nothing seems to be fine in Froyo! Here some of my issues list after update to froyo
1.)Unable to turn on data connections.(resolved after hard reset)

4.)Freezes often.
5.)No 720p video recording.
6.)Will reboot often if connected to PC.
I am recording video with the new iPhone 4 but its not 720p, Is there a setting somewhere? or something i need to do?
View 11 Replies View RelatedSo a little while ago, my company rolled out a security policy update over Activesync that (I am pretty sure) got rid of the 720P video option. They then killed Activesync support completely later the same day (Yeah, I know... why even roll the security policy?). Even after removing the Activesync acct, the video change has not reverted. Anyone know (hopefully short of a complete reinstall) of a way to completely revert Activesync security changes?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was going to try a faster class 10 SD first. I think class 6 should be the minimum for HD movies.
The quality and sound is superb, but it's just slightly out of sync. The video is about 14 minutes in length and is 1.10GB in size. On playback on the phone, it sometimes stutters (like the music stutter) and drops frames, but watch it from a computer with the file still on the SD card, and it plays flawlessly. I know the Tegra 2 is capable of 1080p encoding/decoding, so it should have no issues with 720p. What did Motorola do to this thing?
i believe i found a bug with 3.1. videocamera pauses while video recording when a live paper is being used when wallpaper is just a picture than it works properly.
View 4 Replies View Relatedreduce the audio recording level for video shoots?Cause if its just a little loud, the whole soundtrack gets distorted.Another nice one would be if we could get the noise cancellation mic thats next to the headphone plug to record a second audio track, making it stereo..
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a new Motorola RAZR on the Rogers network.I'm having a real tough time recording any video with it.I've tried several different recordings (primarily of the kids playing hockey in the arena), and I can only get a few seconds to a minute or so before it freezes. After viewing the playback, it looks as if the audio is still being recorded, however the video image freezes. Then it kicks me out and back to the home screen.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm having a big problem recording video with the Motorola DROID RAZR.I can record about 1-2 minuts and then it freezes.I notice that is seems some audio is still being recorded (as I can hear it on the playback), but the video just locks up.Also, I notice that it boots me out of the camera and back to the home screen.I've tried recording when saving to the micro-card or internal. Both ways are still ineffective. Also, I've noticed that sometimes, when call are coming in, the screen is unresponsive and cannot pick-up the call. I'm not sure if this is related, but I thought I would mention here anyway.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to record video. I'm getting some nice image quality, but almost no sound. The audio is extremely muffled. I have my playback volume as high as it will go, and still can just barely hear anything. I can use Tango and make phone calls just fine, so it seems that my mic is working. The only time I've noticed the problem is when I'm trying to record a video. Even if the person I'm recording is standing right in front of my and speaking in a loud, clear voice, I can't hear much in the recorded video.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm using a stock, untouched Droid X2 with the included MicroSD card and the video recording is simply broken. The first video I tried to take was laggy during the recording, and playback was at a seemingly 1.5x speed and was glitchy. I recieved advice to uninstall Flash 10.3, and while shorter videos would record and play back okay, I still get some issues such as the phone rebooting while trying to navigate the gallery.

View 11 Replies View Relatedlove my ip4 and i'm using it to shoot family home movies as one would expect, and using imovie to create 5 minute projects that are really enjoyable.i'd like to post these 720p hd movies online so family members can stream without them being downconverted and having their resolutions compromised.
i've tried Internet and it took 25 minutes to upload and the end result was a blurry mess of downconversion. is there a way to stream the pure hd i'm shooting? mobileme? Internet? some other solution for hosted hd streaming of short iphone 4 clips without a loss of resolution?
Since the gingerbread update, if encryption is enabled, the highest video recording mode is 720x480.
Only if disable encryption is 1280x720 an option. 1280x720 worked fine with encrpytion under froyo - why did this change and how quickly can this serious bug be fixed?
This is a serious flaw that significantly disables advertised features that worked when I purchased the phone.
If I record video with the phone in a vertical position (keyboard at bottom), the video plays back sideways. No matter how I position the phone during playback, it's always sideways. If I record video with the phone in a horizontal position, it plays back just fine. No matter phone position. Is this normal? Do I always have to hold the phone sideways to record video?
View 6 Replies View Relatedi was wondering if anyone else had the problem with a high pitched noise in the background of a video recording during the playback of the video? I couldnt really find any good explanation over the web. i can only hear it after ive recorded the video and ive tested it in a quiet room with no interference but its still there in the background.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo the concept of the video on iPhone 4 being 720p is great.I just wonder if people here can answer:
1.) how much space will 720p video take on the device? I'm taking a vacation on the 17th of july and I'd like this to replace a camcorder
2.) assuming I don't roam on the phone (said vacation is in philippines) then how much battery life will this kill assuming I don't render video on the device and just record and play back.
Can anyone with experience on how big these files are give an estimate how much video the new iPhone will hold at 720p, 30fps? Its the main reason I'm upgrading and just wanted to know if 32gig's held hours or minutes worth of video. I suspect the latter....

View 8 Replies View RelatedI took a video today indoors with bright natural light and noticed for the first time that the picture was a little unstable and tended to jump every few seconds. I hadn't noticed it before because it's very quick - blink and you'll miss it - but sure enough I saw it in a video I took a week ago as well (also indoors but not as bright and it seemed less jumpy).
Anyone notice the jerkiness as well? I wonder if it's a hardware or software issue.
