The browsing speed is very very slow and most sites dont open.The signal strength shown in xoom is - (-105 dBm 3 asu).Is this a issue with Android 3.2 update or my home wifi is weak? Dec 5, 2011I have a new Motorola RAZR on the Rogers network.I'm having a real tough time recording any video with it.I've tried several different recordings (primarily of the kids playing hockey in the arena), and I can only get a few seconds to a minute or so before it freezes. After viewing the playback, it looks as if the audio is still being recorded, however the video image freezes. Then it kicks me out and back to the home screen.

Apr 28, 2012I've been amazed at how good the audio is when recording video at a live show with the Photon. I downloaded a couple apps to record audio (PCM recorder and Audio recorder), and they are both just horrible at recording loud, live music.
Is there an audio recorder for the photon that adjusts the mic sensitivity? It seems bizarre to me that the audio is fantastic when recording video, but a dedicated audio recorder app is beyond horrible.

Dec 5, 2011I'm having a big problem recording video with the Motorola DROID RAZR.I can record about 1-2 minuts and then it freezes.I notice that is seems some audio is still being recorded (as I can hear it on the playback), but the video just locks up.Also, I notice that it boots me out of the camera and back to the home screen.I've tried recording when saving to the micro-card or internal. Both ways are still ineffective.Also, I've noticed that sometimes, when call are coming in, the screen is unresponsive and cannot pick-up the call. I'm not sure if this is related, but I thought I would mention here anyway.

May 8, 2011I'm trying to record video. I'm getting some nice image quality, but almost no sound. The audio is extremely muffled. I have my playback volume as high as it will go, and still can just barely hear anything. I can use Tango and make phone calls just fine, so it seems that my mic is working. The only time I've noticed the problem is when I'm trying to record a video. Even if the person I'm recording is standing right in front of my and speaking in a loud, clear voice, I can't hear much in the recorded video.

Only if disable encryption is 1280x720 an option. 1280x720 worked fine with encrpytion under froyo - why did this change and how quickly can this serious bug be fixed?

Motorola Droid Bionic :: Camera Screen Flickers During Recording?
Sep 21, 2011I know from what I read on the forums that the camera and video have some issues. I wish I would have read this before getting rid of my revolution but I needed actual use of my phone and not constant rebooting and a nice camera.This is something I noticed last night when recording a clip of our new puppies. While recording at default setting the screen would keep flickering black approx every minute or so. I thought maybe it was due to a low battery and never thought that is was actually being transferred into the video itself. When I played the video back on my computer though, I noticed that it was recording that way and it was not just a simple timeout of the screen as I once thought.
I tried the next day with both camera and video on a FULL battery and got the same results. It seems like this may be linked to the autofocus problem/bug I have been reading about. I checked and cleaned the lens too just to make sure that nothing was causing the cam to focus in and out all the time.Wondering if anyone else is having these problems or is it just me. If so has anyone found a correction or app that can fix these issues while waiting for an / if any / for motorola.The cam and video can take decent photos if the subject is sitting still with no problem, however try taking a baby or puppy running around and no luck at all.Any internal settings that anyone has found that can control the auto focus time or an app that can change it?

Phone volume is at max, I tried to use the speakerphone etc. There is a very faint recording volume that you can hear if it is absolutely quite and you listed to it 2-3 times. Phone is at the latest update. Is there any way to adjust the volume?

Sep 13, 2011I got the Bionic on the launch date, but hadn't gotten around to testing the camcorder capabilities. I tested it last night and was a bit annoyed by the autofocus. I tried shooting the inside of my bedroom, but the autofocus kept engaging every 2 seconds. In effect, it made the whole video choppy as the screen zoomed in and out slightly every couple of seconds. To verify, I held the camcorder as straight as possible and focused on a plain white wall (so it wasn't an issue of excessive movement on the screen). I recorded in both 720p and 1080p using the default camcorder settings (no flash, no color effects).
I was using the stock camcorder app and have not installed any 3rd party apps for the camera or camcorder. The room was lit with artificial lights and was neither overly bright no overly dark. I am going to test it again outside in the sun to see if the same thing happens.Is this something that you are seeing as well, and could there be a fix? I still have about 10 more days to return this phone, and of all the seemingly "little" things that bug me about this phone (screen, battery life while idle, poor picture quality), this one is probably going to bug me the most.
