I cannot here voicemail no matter what I do. Phone volume is at max, I tried to use the speakerphone etc. There is a very faint recording volume that you can hear if it is absolutely quite and you listed to it 2-3 times. Phone is at the latest update. Is there any way to adjust the volume?

View 24 Replies View RelatedI've been amazed at how good the audio is when recording video at a live show with the Photon. I downloaded a couple apps to record audio (PCM recorder and Audio recorder), and they are both just horrible at recording loud, live music.
Is there an audio recorder for the photon that adjusts the mic sensitivity? It seems bizarre to me that the audio is fantastic when recording video, but a dedicated audio recorder app is beyond horrible.
reduce the audio recording level for video shoots?Cause if its just a little loud, the whole soundtrack gets distorted.Another nice one would be if we could get the noise cancellation mic thats next to the headphone plug to record a second audio track, making it stereo..

When the bluetooth is off, I can hear the voice mail messages fine on the phone. Is there a setting I can change to hear the voice mail messages in the car?
View 7 Replies View Related1st major one is occasionally I cannot hear the callers but they can hear me, second the web browser has heavy delays when loading a page. For example the page will load 25-50%(according to the status bar) and then freeze and then fully load in one burst. I am updated to the latest software 45.2.7. MB855.Sprint.en.US I also remove my battery almost daily and restart my phone daily.

I noticed this also after i check the store floor model and seem's the same issue(both were defective?). Callers on other end hear me fine, so it's not there phone or the service.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that the volume is low after last update, when i first got the phonw it was loud and clear. After the update i can hardly here the alamr anymore. My ringtones are low as well, even playing back music. Is anybody else having this issue, any suggestions?.
One more thing, i also tested it out, by going to the sprint store checking the floor model and comparing it to mine, it was way louder and didnt have the latest update.
I have a Curve 8520 and the volume is stuck on maximum. I have tried many of the obvious things:
Media-Options but audio boost is off and I don't see any other option that would help. The volume keys on the side of the phone do not work anymore for some reason. I even cut the material with a scalpel to see if pressing the actual sensor would allow me to reduce volume. Needless to say it didn't.
I have tried using the keyboard on the phone and the volume control key (also a $ sign) but it didn't help either.
Wondering if this is because of defective mic? Is there an SW update for this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAny bluetooth headset I pair with my photon is too loud. Yes, I turned the volume down on headset and phone. I know its the phone cause I have paired the headset(s) w/ other devices, and the volume will go down all the way. Tried an app (Volume Ace Free) and it did nothing. Bottom line is when media volume is set to minimum its still WAY too loud. This is not an issue w/ wired headphones.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the Motorola car dock, and when the phone is docked, the volume buttons do nothing. I want to turn up the volume on the phone becuase even when I trun my radio up all the way, the volume is still not loud enough.
If I undock the phone and just use the headphone jack, I can turn the volume up and down on the phone.
So for some reason, the dock disables the use of the buttons.

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently I've noticed I'll be in the middle of the call with the in call volume on max (which is very much needed on this phone...I don't have hearing problems ). Then every now and then the volume drops to 1/3 of maximum and I have to hold the volume up to bring it back to max.
(I've only seen references to ringing volume changing erratically, not in call volume) . My phone is rooted, but with stock ROM.
It seems that after one of the updates, the max speaker phone volume is much lower than before. I liked being able to turn it up, especially in the car dock.

Audio books seem to do it the most. Turning off the "Audio effects" option in settings seems to mitigate the problem, but doesn't make it go away entirely. I also notice some distortion at full volumes...
My other issue is when i turn the device to landscape and back while playing music or youtube the sound goes out for a second each time it moves from straight to landscape. Is this normal or should I do a warranty exchange?

Furthermore, when open any random software i.e games, the volume/sound will be set maximum automatically and can't turn down even pressing the decrease volume button. Even if i set the volume to silent first before run a game, the volume will automatically set to maximum after i run the game. If i want to increase volume i had to increase it at setting menu. This also effect when i want to zoom in to take a pic.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSometimes (i.e. very often) when I am on a phone call on the iphone 6, and using headphones, the volume goes to maximum and stays there. Pressing the decrease volume button shows the graphic going down and the volume briefly goes down, but then immediately ramps upto maximum volume again. Taking out the headphones and just holding the phone to my hear, enables me to get normal volume again during the call.Â
I think this is nearly exclusively a problem with Headphones + phone calls. Does I need to replace the earphones or the phone?Â
